From my frame of thinking it is so obvious that the one true God of the Holy Bible exists that I don't feel it is badgering to support the truth on a secular message board. Now if someone comes to a Christian message board to try to change peoples belief in God When they know he exists I would consider that badgering.

That story about the toddler eating ketchup got me to think... what if the rapture happens and God leaves the babies and toddlers behind if they're not saved?.. There may be other babies and toddlers left in their homes alone trying to scrounge up whatever food they can find.

Often people say God is just or fair and would not let children die in this manner or suffer this way. But The God of the OT is still the same God. In the book of 1 Samuel He instructed Saul to kill everything living thing.. animals, men, women, and children when they conquered that city... Children suffer horrible in other third world countries daily... I do lean toward... those with no christian parents being left behind to find their own way to christ before it is to late.

God set his precedent the last time He destroyed the world. Whether you understand and agree with His decision is up to you. I can only go by God's previous actions in this. I do not think it unfair that children are covered by their parent's salvation for earthly life.

I agree that Jesus showed how dear children are to Him. But God sent his wrath on children through out the bible... babies.. children, etc... I can't understand it.. but I don't have the ability to.. I am human He is God. I have to trust in the fact that I know He is sinless, and a Just God. So He knows better then I why what He did was right.

People are saying that God would not let children suffer the tribulation.. all I am saying is what are you basing that on? He let them suffer the flood, he let them suffer mass killings by his command, he let them die in sodom and Gamaroh.... why would the tribulation be any different? He is still the same God he does not change.

I'm rather disturbed at how people blithely throw the term 'fair' around in the first place. It's not fair if God doesn't present the Gospel to children? Since when is God obligated to present the Gospel, or save anyone, to begin with????? It would be just as 'fair' if God threw us all into hell and ended it at that.

... in this life and in this flesh I would not be able to stomach a God who is so cruel as to throw a little two week old baby into hell or leave one behind to be at the mercy of who knows who of the left behinders.. After this earth after this flesh if God was to leave said children behind or throw them into hell I will be able to better handle it..but for now..I can't concieve of it..

Getting a little dramatic aren't we?.. Whether you are emotionally able to accept a God who allows children to suffer is a personal issue for you.. has nothing to do with scripture. God allows children to suffer HORRIBLY every day! We don't have a certain age where we suddenly don't deserve heaven. We ALL are born sinners and deserve Hell.

Somebody else pointed to the dilemna parents would have if all children did automatically go to heaven . . . why not play it safe and take the child's life? Why 'risk' having the child grow up and going to hell? Extreme example? Well, when you think it through, this is exactly the kind stuff you run into when you believe that ALL children go to heaven.
