Does anyone else think Christianity will be forced underground within next 5 years?.. They are using words like 'bigoted' 'intolerant' 'hate-filled' when the Bible is preached... What do you think will happen if we're here another 5 years?

Do you guys remember reading accounts in the Bible about Sodom and Gommorah, and another account where the homosexuals violently tried to accomplish their will? I see it going that way- Read the account of the Baptist church?-

... I don’t think it is too hard to imagine us Christians having to go underground within the next 5 years. People are becoming too angry and too hateful for it not to become reality unless a miracle happens.

I believe that most true Christians who follow the faith are already underground... Can you talk to your neighbor without being persecuted? Can you speak with anyone that you know who is not already a Christian without being persecuted?.. christians will have to go underground in the next 5 years, I would have to answer YES. It is happening now!

I think that it will be actually considered 'underground' when EVERYONE is hunting us down. As long as we can still speak person to person about Christ openly we aren't underground. As Medic said, we can still do that. Some are afraid to do so, but it's still allowed. Sure, some try to sue, but there isn't a price on our heads for doing it.

If we are still here in five years, yes I believe there is a good chance that we will be 'underground' and that the Bible and other Christian literature will be illegal.

The church won't be completely underground, buy the seculars will do something like, 'OK, you can go to your silly churches, but you better shut up about it once you leave the building or we're gonna slap a fine on you!'

Christianity altogether may not be outlawed, but a watered down, politically correct, morally relativistic version may be all that society will be able to 'legally tolerate' within the next few years. The trend against us has been steadily building for years, thanks to the liberal media and the anti-religio facists in the ACLU. I think someday soon we may have to head back to the catacombs.....or to the basements in this case.

Well, based on the stories in the news of the persecution beginning here in America, and the shenanigans of the ACLU, I say it's already begun....

The changes over the last 10 years tell me it is possible. We have let ourselves get to where we are because we never thought it would happen here. While we had our back turned the devil slid right in and got the ball a rolling. Straight down hill right at us... I live in a small town in the SE corner of Kansas, and yet I have been having a reaccuring dream that 3 men come into my church with guns to kill us for our faith.

some long time catholic friends of my family say the virgin mary told the people there would be three days of intense darkness and the evil spirits would run rampant on the earth. That the faithful are to stay in their homes and draw the shades to keep the evil out and to not let anyone in during that time even if it is a friend or family member because they might be possessed of the devil...I kid you not...my mouth dropped open when I heard that...I even read this little booklet about it....

OK people, the shroud [of Turin] is definitely a fake and there is no doubt about it. You see, back in Jesus' days when people were buried the custom was for them to be buried with '2' cloths not 1... when peter entered the tomb he found 'two' cloths, 1 to each side of the resting place. There is your scriptural proof, any scientific proof can have errors, but the bible has no errors.

Gandalf's magic is totally invented, not based in reality(like Harry Potter is). The Bible does not say that fiction or make-believe is evil, it says that the real thing, real magic, is evil. Also, just because I watch Gandalf do his magic does not mean that I am going to go out and try it myself and believe that I am capable of magic.

The closest any kid will ever get to becoming Gandalf is to watch the movies, read the books, play video games, and use their imagination. The closest you can get to being Harry Potter is becoming a witch. Casting spells, fortune telling, tarot cards... In one word: witchcraft. LOTR is plain old fantasy, no way it can become real. Harry Potter CAN become real; witchcraft is very real.

One very interesting comment I read on an Islamic message board about the Iran earthquake was this: 'Allah is angry'. Now a meteor? Maybe Allah is angry!

I see whats happening too well. Iran should be an example to those terroistic unrepentant nations around them to get on their hands and knees and ask for The Lords forgiveness (the true G-d that is) ...but I seriously doubt they will.

This Christoph guy [a German scholar arguing the Quran comes from many writers] couldn't be more wrong in his interpretation of the Quran. It is most definitely a supernatural book. And it was most definitely a direct revelation from Allah to his prophet Muhammed... The Quran is Satan's response to The Bible... When you seek the real truth objectively, instead of just trying to secularize everything, the real truth becomes very clear. Islam is Satan's thorn he has pressed into Christianity's side throughout history... Satan actually designed the words to be spoken most poetically in Arabic. That is how they gained many very early converts. People thought the words sounded so beautiful and poetic that they had to have come from God. Sounds like first-class deception to me!! Satan....come out come out wherever you are!!

And doesn't occam's razor state, all things being equal, the simplest explanation tends to be the right one?.. the simplest explanation is a superior being speaking the universe into existence. General relativity, and the Big Bang is hardly what I call a 'simple' explanation.
