Quote# 7032

Denying eternal life is the same as suicide. Even if you lived for a few million years and rejected eternal life, it would still be suicide.... If I am on the edge of a cliff, delirious and hallucinating, and I see a man walk by and offer his hand, would it not be suicide to refuse to take it? Even if the hand isn't real, Even if the man isn't real, Even if God is fake and eternal life is a sham, Is it not suicide to refuse to even try and take his hand and grasp eternal life?

I don't think athiests necessarily want to die, they just don't want their to be a God, because if there is a God, the athiests would have to make sweeping changes in their lives to serve God.

Don't Pagans worship a pantheon of gods? That's not an option on your poll, so I put 'worship demons' which is the closest to that. Plus, pagan gods are actually demons anyway, so it fits.

I never say anything without having the evidence to back it up. If you want I have a list of criteia here that suggest a Divine Authorship of the Bible:
[snipped by Mod]
* The fact that there is only one race, i.e. the Human Race or Adam's Race (Human Genome Project). If I am not mistaken, evolution says that the people groups on Earth evolved from different ape like creatures sometime in the distant past; hence, there would be different races.

No one has ever apologized to me for calling my beliefs a lie or the Holy Word of God a myth and a lie, but what the heck I want to be reasonable and peaceable. However, I'm going to make an exception this time. I believe you should call a spade a spade. I am not attacking Sven or you personally in any way and I hope you know this but I believe there are certain aspects of the theory that are very elaborate lies. Lies that even great minds like yours and christians like the man you mentioned get caught up in. Lies that have some empirical evidence to back them up. Lies that in many cases make so much sense its incredible, but if it isn't totally true then the very fabric and weave of the whole thing is a lie. A lie thats designed to lead mens minds away from the very creator of the universe. The most effective deception is ones that contains 90% or more of pure truth and just enough falsehood to be able to dismiss them off hand as inconsiquential (ms)

[To a famous paleontologist]You say theres no evidence for a flood. I say this is bovine feces. That statement has been made so many times on this forum I couldn't count them all. Yet I see lots of evidence for a flood. I can see, I can reason and I think much of this falsehood is an illusion of facts. Heck lets look at 'fossilization' the very thing that makes up your study. Are you completely aware of how fossils are made?

At any rate I agree with you totally. We should never be involved with something thats a lie. However, I think the avenues of deception are varied and subtile to say the least. Many well intentioned scientist could be caught up in this and not even know it. Many scientist work in such a narrow range of the fields they are in that they don't know all of the facts and assume the status quo has got it all right.

I have to admitt to not looking at this particular fossil and studying it as much as I should to be commenting on it. I did do a pretty close look at it in a museum one time and it looked a little fake to me at the time.

[On the EPR paradox]Both the electron and the positron can be measured at places so distant from each other that no signal passes between them - its too far apart for light to travel that fast. Yet after the fact, we find that if one was spin up, the other was spin down, properly cancelling the other. How do they do that? God is a possible answer to that question. Perhaps quantum mechanics actually requires God in order to work! He functions as the great bookkeeper of the universe, seeing that what needs conserved is conserved across all time and space.

There are a great number of scientist who reject evolution on both a scientific basis and a theological basis. The conclusion of evolutionists is based, not on data, but on their assumption that there can be no supernatural explanationfor the universe.

Evolution is merely a religion, because it takes faith to make it work. As for carbon dating and that such it has never been proven to be accurate, just watch the discovery channel on this. Evolution is just another attempt to take God out of creation. The Bible however does say that in the end times people are going to turn to their own lusts and that God will blind the truth from them because they do not accept Him.... I hope God opens your eyes and doesn't blind your from the truth!

the whole evolution thing is just pathetic. We don't even have anything to prove. CS I've read a few great articles that were written by a distinguished biologist and that ONE MORE TIME prove that evolution is completely false. I m wondering why are you calling yourself 'Christian', if you believe in the evolution theory you're supposed to be what my Bro calls a 'brainiac', or prolly a Catholic.

You whould always ask questions and seek answers through logic and reason. And the Bible is our logic and reason. I know the World is 6,000 years old because the bible shows this to be true. How do those people know limestone is of fossilized living things over a period of time? Have they watched the process from when it started? And i have learned on the Discovery Channel that Carbon Dating and of the such are not at all accurate. Could it be so hard to believe that God made the limestone the way it is? Our that God put the Crude oil there? Also i must add that the Bible says that in the end days that God will send a strong dissalluision to the people who refuse to believe in Him. This is why i believe the 'UFO's' are around. Also more and more people are following Evolution, which is a religion because it does take faith to believe in evolution. I dont pretend or even say i know everything. But one thing i do know. No matter what man tries to prove if it crosses the Bible then what they find is false, no matter how true it may seem.

I think I've studied more astronomy than you'll ever learn and believe me I DO know that this World is 6,000 years old, and I came to this conlusion through logic and reason. Scientists claim to have found some planet that's '15bil yrs old' and now they aren't even sure if they got the age of the Universe right!!! hahahaha You could also check Jack Chick's tract that covers the subject very well. God Bless. PS People who come to this site aren't just a bunch of religious fanatics, believe me we're quite educated, too.

Now what's funny about that?If you would only learn God's word and gain understanding you would not need any of these worthless ideas from man.
