I am a college graduate and although I received critical thinking instruction from both of my parents, who were teachers, before I went to school, while there I observed many kids who did not have the same. Kids are vehicles of learning with mush for brains. Highly impressionable. If they don't have the proper training at home, many will latch on to radical ideas from college professors, because most kids are natuarally rebellious to some extent at that age. Usually intellectual maturation doesn't occur before college, it happens aftwerwards.
