Of Pensacola's many rules, those dealing with male-female relationships are the most talked about. There are restrictions on when and where men and women may speak to each other. Some elevators and stairwells may be used only by women; others may be used only by men. Socializing on particular benches is forbidden. If a man and a woman are walking to class, they may chat; if they stop en route, though, they may be in trouble. [...]

Even couples who are not talking or touching can be reprimanded. Sabrina Poirier, a student at Pensacola who withdrew in 1997, was disciplined for what is known on the campus as "optical intercourse" — staring too intently into the eyes of a member of the opposite sex. This is also referred to as "making eye babies."

All things are tolerable but not all things are beneficial.

Heavy metal on the secular side glorifies sin and the devil.

What does AC/DC's song's Highway to Hell and Hell's Bells imply?

It's pretty obvious.

God did invent music but it was invented to worship him and the devil has the majority of it worshipping him.

The choice is yours for we all have free will but there are side effects that will affect you in secular heavy metal subliminally.

Garbage in = Garbage out.

I am probably one of the few people in the world who believe that the ancient Greek gods had their ties in very real demonic spirits related to the "legends" talked about in Genesis (when the sons of God produced giants).

I think this is very much a sign of the end times: calling up the old "gods" or evil spirits that ruled regions of the world long ago.

But it won't be as clean as the Greek myth classes we took as youths.

Many of these gods had rituals and rites that were extremely demonic.

I once heard a pastor say that evil comes because it is invited.

When the former "gods" of Egypt are called up again, I believe things are going to get real nasty. Those were some horrid demons. Among some of the pagans I have encountered, Isis is a real, unseen personality.

Predatory nature isn't a bad thing, but the Bible clearly states that it didn't exist in the garden of eden. Could it have existed at that time, just outside the garden? Perhaps. The rules were changed, so that it is no longer an issue, but yes, in the beginning, T-rex's ate plants.

[On the Biblical flood]

The mountains were lower, as we see mountains growing even today, but there is still not enough water on the earth. Here is my theory, and although it is weird, just listen and do the research yourself, as I don't have enough time to argue with each of you.
Mars previously had a different orbit than seen today. This is proven by Chinese manuscrips on constalations and the length of a year. Mars previously had an eliptical orbit, not unlike pluto's of today. Every two years, Mars would get close enough to the earth for the gravitational fields to interfere with one another. This would cause huge storms, tides, shifts in the earth, and electrical storms from the magnetic fields.
Mars has Ice on it's surface, could it have been stolen from the earth after the flood? I think so. Many of the phenomenon in the Bible are partially explained by this theory. The Chinese observed a few hundred years before Christ was born that Mars moved from one side of the earth, to the other, blotting out the sun and shifting both the earth's and it's own orbit into the cycle they are in now. They calculated the calendar a few years later after the cycle was constant, and were accurate within a few hours. We have the ancient Chinese manuscripts from the emperor to his astronomers, requesting an explanation for all the weird happenings and changes in the earth. This was their conclusion, and if you combine that with the fact that many of the ancient culcures worshipped Mars or "the stars" it makes sense because Mars would create so much destruction when it got close to the earth.

With the theory of the Big Bang it is said that all the matter of the universe was pressed into one spot, spun extremely fast until it exploded and expanded to make the universe. The problem with this is centrifical force says that everything should be spinning the same way. The problem is in our own galaxy there are three planets spinning backwards, we see other galaxies spinning backwards, several moons through out galaxy are spinning backwards. The Big Bang is a big dud!!!

LOL...box you put courses for me to learn from Berkely.
Somehow I don't think Berkely is that opposed to teaching evolution and would teach, just as almost every other classroom through the U.S., that the Big Bang and evolution are true and would teach things that we would have absolutely no idea about.

Sorry...don't think I'll be learning from Berkely today.

[Paragraph breaks added]

It's not wrong to be homophobic. They are sexual perverts,
they are no different than child molesters, and I treat them like child molesters by not interacting them and just like child molesters are often responsible for the murder of children, it was the homosexual community that is directly responsible for the spread of HIV in the early 1980s which has led to the deaths of thousands of people.

After killing thousands of Americans, the homosexuals now want to have our marriage laws changed to approve of their immoral behavior by continually shoving their left-wing gay agenda down our throats through their endless gay TV shows and their gay parades.

I was once indifferent about the gay community, but after seeing how they continually try to spread their gay propaganda to the youth of this country and after seeing how they are trying to change our laws, I have absolutely no respect for them and I consider them to be no different now than the child molesters. I have every right to hate their disease-spreading activites and to tell them to keep their gay parades off of our streets.

I find this thread interesting because I enjoy collecting various dinosaur teeth. I believe some of the dinosaurs that had sharp teeth always had them. Did you know there are several animals that live today that have very sharp teeth that don't eat meat? A fruit bat is just one common example. There probably are a few dinosaurs known for their sharp teeth that never ate meat in their life. There is a lot of assuming that goes on about dinosaurs. We assume just because they had sharp teeth they must have been meat eatters. Just to make my view clear I believe before the fall no animal, that includes dinosaurs, ate meat.

I have said this before - Everyone needs to prepare themselves and their families for some dark times... Are you prepared to live in a world without electricity or pressure water or fuel to run your cars?

Everyone here needs to put some serious thought as to their ability to survive under disaster conditions over a long period... And that includes the defense of one's home and property... When the food stops, you will see human nature at its worst...

[On the ancient Greek gods]

I think they had to be at least based on something that was seen by people at some point. I'm a historian, too, with degrees in history. I'm just convinced that satan used similar tricks with all ancient civilizations. Look at the fact that the moon was used as a god for so long--and now the Muslims worship the same god as the ancients did. That is no coincidence.

I was an original reader of the Fantastic Four (early to late sixties) as a child. Let it slide for 38 years, and picked it up again after the movie came out to see what had changed. I wanted to love it, cause I'd loved it as a kid, but the in-your-face occultism and insults to God were overwhelming. Galactus, for one thing, calling himself the alpha and the omega. Reed getting heavily involved in magic, etc. I thought, perhaps, things had changed over time, but when I checked out the very early versions (the ones I'd loved as a kid) the inclusion of and promotion of evolution was pretty strong. I was so disappointed because I remember many happy afternoons with the FF as a kid.

I finally think I'm getting it! All the adults around me used to shake their heads and warn about comic books when I was a kid.

I am Roman Catholic. I believe in and practice psionics. I have had a first-hand experience with psionics. I am not psychically gifted. I am a member of PSI POG. Anyone cand practice psionics under two conditions:
1. They firmly believe in it.
2. They practice often and do not give up.

If you do not believe, you cannot do it. If you believe in it, the sky is your limit (literally, because of levitation).

I do not believe in everything the church says. I do not aknowledge the Vatican. The gospel of Saint Thomas states that "The kingdom of God is within you, about you, and all around you. Break a piece of wood and you will find me. Lift a stone and I am there." Thius gospel was said by Jesus and removed from the New Testament because the Vatican consiedrs it heresy. Fact: 2/3 of the New Testament are fabricated. Psionics, like anything else, can be used for both good and evil. I can use a knife to cut my food or to stab someone. I can use a tootbrush to brush my teeth or kill someone (it is possible). The church is aginst contacting the dead or using uuigi boards because you might get a response from an evil spirit or entity or misinterpret the message.

I feel that psionics, contacting the dead, predicting the future is okay, but you do it at your own risk. I myself also use uuigi techneques to predict lottery numbers (at least 3 numbers every time, buyah). I read people's minds and emotions (5 times succesful). I have had one first-hand paranormal experience (a ghost was messing with my house). Lights were going crazy in good weather, other electronics were malfunctioning (that is why I have no pics, since I have a digital camera), and eveyone felt an angry presence. Other paranormal things have happened to me as well. I went to see several shrinks, and it turns out that I have an emotional problem but am perfectly sane.

Like I said before, I'm a member of PSI POG. I have made a pis ball, read minds, used telekenisis, predicted the future in my dreams, and shielded my self. My mom has a maternal instinct like most others. She can tell whether I have a good or bad day before I come home from school, she can tell if I am injured or in trouble. It is a psionic link between the mother and child. Intuition and instincts also have to do with psionics.

Yes. If you've speant the time studying and debating communism like I have you'd know that all those far-left liberals who go on their commy march against religious freedom (or actually, Christian freedom!) you would thoroughly understand that our country is under attack by communist ideology. I know several people in my local area who are involved with brainwashing people out of their American rights. The ACLU upholds the constitution of the U.S.S.R., but the U.S. constitution it is attacking! Our country was meant to be a country of religious freedom, not atheistic propaganda and fascism.

And thats the truth..
