Quote# 51126

Have you ever noticed how negatively Christian homeschoolers, and Christians in general, for that matter, are portrayed on television?... I heard a preacher say that each time we watch a movie or a television show that the world produces, we are listening to a sermon. Just as this preacher does not teach his congregation everything he wants them to know in one sermon, Hollywood does not reveal all of its agenda at once.

You label it Pentecostal Theology. I call it New Testament theology and doctrine. This is why I hate denominationalism. It shouldn't matter your denomination. "What does the bible say" should be where we form our beliefs.

The New Testament clearly reveals the New Birth and the infilling of the Holy Spirit as two separate experiences. Speaking in tongues is clearly the evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Jimbeaux and RevKidd you need to get on the Word. No one cares about your personal opinion; especially God. I wonder how it is that Christians don't study the bible. I find it frightening when Christians see it in the Word and still reject it or attempt to explain away what is clearly written.

[After an incredibly long argument with vBulletin support, fundie has his software licence revoked.]

Please restore my license, which you had no right to cancel. You're abusing your power, and though you think you can get away with it, you will not escape judgment in God's eyes. You can be sure of that.

What you need to do get back right in God's eyes is:

1) Come to the cross as a helpless sinner to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
2) Repent of your arbitrarily removing my license, since just because I did not let you onto my server is no justification for removing my license.
3) Don't sin bearing false witness that I have pirated software, for I legitimately paid for it in 2004 or 2005 with updates paid for each year thereafter.
4) Stop abusing your power.
5) Don't be evasive about the stampdate after it was your staff who brought it up as something to investigate.
6) Moreover, there is no need to go onto my server, because you can determine the stampdate without going onto my server and the problem is likely that I don't have php5 why Recaptcha is not working.

I don't expect you to do the right thing, but these are the right things you ought to do.

One is left with the only conclusion, Biblocality.com and Biblocality.com/forums was targetted along with myself because this is a truly Christian site and I am a Christian which offends the unsaved.

I have examined my morals. Unlike you, I'm not brainwashed by government schools into thinking witches are something GOOD, or even sane. Would we have Boeing 747s in a world where "witches" ruled? Your hatred of religion comes from your so-called "Education". Most of us who are older know how schools literally rewrite History books, keeping only the names and dates accurate at best. Welcome to being a pawn in someone else's political agenda! Hope you enjoy the flight.

A TRUE Heretic, under the classical literal definition, caused as much harm among their community as any modern day terrorist. I have no sympathy for them. Because I think for MYSELF, using History books never allowed in publik skewls... never allowed because they don't fit in with the current Teacher's Unions agenda.

Yes. I would Most definnitely. I would jump off a cliff if god told me to do it. In fact id ask him what cliff and where exactly he would want me to jump from.

And prayer worked more than one time, example: when I needed a running truck to get to work. Little did I know that This truck was running on 5 of it's 6 cylinders, and had NO GAS. until I prayed the thing wouldn't start.

Faith is to believe something without evience. There are mountains of evidence for evolution.
see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVRsWAjvQSg for some examples
evolution requires no faith.

There are also mountains of evidence to support the Bible. Therefore the Bible requires no faith.

As you can see, your argument is flawed.

(On Rapture Ready)

How does gambling, playing occult computer games, keeping silent while Jesus Christ is blasphemed, listening to rock music, defending President Bush's occult affiliations, drinking alcohol, participating in coarse, unclean conversation and unholy jesting and engaging in all kinds of worldliness make a Christian "rapture ready"? It doesn't.

Todd Strandberg's Rapture Ready Ready Message Board, which consistently conditions Christians to partake of these and other sins, has an agenda to make it certain that Christians are not rapture ready. Their stated agenda is the opposite of their actual purpose as evidenced by their message board content. Much worldly and anti-Christian content is backed or ignored by the administration. Either way, the kingdom of God is being undermined, rather than advanced through the individuals who run this message board.

Relativism is the theme of the Rapture Ready Message Board: how a Christian feels while he is participating in behavior that violates biblical principles determines whether it is right or wrong. If he feels comfortable gambling, then he may gamble. If he feels comfortable drinking, then he may drink, if he feels comfortable playing occult computer games or typically sinful movies then he indulges, etc. As long as things don't get out of hand, conforming-to-the-world is promoted as being harmless and rather enjoyable. This is called giving place to the devil, and the Rapture Ready administrators and backers offer plenty of rationalizations to "help" the Christian justify getting off and staying off the narrow way that leads to life.

The Bible describes the grace that brings salvation. This grace teaches Christians to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. These are the Christians who are actively "looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ." (See Titus 2:11-13)

A) There isnt any
B) Any "evidence" to you must come from an Atheist

Everybody's God is "very real" to them, but not everybody can be right.

True. Most religions don't teach the same thing. In fact, they contradict each other often. So this means that out of the several, only ONE of them have to be telling truth. Christianity is the one.

Still don't think evolution is racist? Here we have a drawing of our origins coming from Africa (the new repackaged evolution idea). The arrows represent a evolution direction (like the evolution tree). Now look who is at the bottom. Now look who is at the top. So why do we come from Africa? Because that's where the sub-human black people live. No matter how evolutionists try and repackage their theory. It will always be a racist theory because the person who thought it up was a racist. And is also the reason why the people in Sudan are being exterminated, and no evolutionist even lifts a finger to help. In their book, extermination=survival of the fittest.

I love coming to the Religious Forum to read what you so-called Atheists have to say. I don't believe most of you for a moment, though. You come here and bloviate about a God you "claim" you don't believe in and get yourselves all worked up over it. You seem to be on a mission. It's hilarious. You're like little mini-devils. The Devil believes in God, he just hates him. I think you too believe in God. Why else would you expend so much time and energy writing about how much you hate him? And you do hate him so. So you must therefore believe in him. You are, however, very entertaining.

Quote# 51065

I believe that God is true, not because of scientific fact but because he has worked in my life and I have seen him work in other peoples lives. I am not saying taking a blind leap of faith, but no matter how hard Christians these days try, the Bible can -NOT- be proven in any way. That's exactly how God wants it, we are to follow him even though we know we cant prove it. That is true faith, and that is why we are exalted when we die and go to heaven.

EDIT: Evolution has no real facts, ask them anything specific and they just dodge the question. From a distance, it makes sense. Up close, it makes no sense at all.

Quote# 50850

Having been raised in a non-Christian home and having gone to public school where they taught millions of years and taught that we came from primordial soup - most recently from apes - when I came across Answers in Genesis, I thought these guys were kinda "off". I was a new Christian, listening to a local Christian radio station - to a Bible study - and the pastor was talking about how Jesus had referred to Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jonah...as real people and not just characters in a morality story. He referred to the flood as a real event in time and that was a revelation for me! I thought, if Jesus believed that stuff and all those people were real - then I do, too.
I got some DVDs from AIG for my daughter to replace her evolutionist National Geographic ones and she loves them! We got to meet Buddy Davis in person last year. I've listened to Ken Ham speak and it took some time but my world view has changed. I don't see monkeys as distant relatives - I see them as animals. I don't see millions of years of rock layers - I see the effects of the flood. I see the Good Lord's design in all of nature. I think of what He told Job - "Where were you, Job, when I laid the foundations of the earth" and He goes on for 3 or 4 more chapters describing just some of what He created and my reaction is the same as Job's - both hands over my mouth and sit down!
So many people lose their faith - or their potential for having a faith in God - because they cannot reconcile the Bible's history and what evolutionists are teaching. "Everybody knows the earth is billions of years old and dinosaurs were extinguished by a big meteor! God, (if they believe in Him) could have created thru evolution." Well, I beg to differ. Now that my eyes are opened, I see the evidence for the flood and there are sights on the web that also show archeological findings that show giants lived on the earth once and technology that existed before it "should have". Yes, getting the truth - God's Truth - out is important to building our faith. We must fight the devil's lies with God's Truth - our sword.http://www.rr-bb.com/images/smilies/prophet.gif

I think a line should be drawn somewhere also. I do not interfere with homosexual couples but i believe in the Bible. God created man and woman to marry. Man and Woman. Thats all there is to it. The U.S. is based off of the Bible and I am tired of seeing people take it out of the schools, taking the ten commandments out of our buildings and making up their own rules about marriage. I dont care if they are together because they will have to settle that with God when the time comes, but they do not need to be married. And if they do get married they don't need to do it in a church, near a church, with a preacher, or with a Bible- in fact, it shouldnt even be called marriage. God has made it clear that he wants nothing to do with that. So if you want to get married to the same sex and you dont believe in God then dont get married, just be together and leave it alone. The Bible was once America's Bible because our principles were first based upon the Bible at least until now- the phrase "separation of church and state" is not in the constitution so i wish people would stop saying that it is and state what it actually says.I am not saying that you have to believe in the Bible or God. It just makes sense, if you want to get married to someone of the same sex. Dont. it is a contradictory act.
