Could you point me to the thread or link of evidence that backs up evolutionary theory?

From what I have read (and I'm thinking that you are a better researcher than I) most of the 'fossil' finds as well as Piltdown man, etc have been debunked. And unless I'm mistaken, there has been no 'fossil' that shows inter-species evolution. I'm not saying that animals cannot 'adapt' or physically mutate according to their environment/surroundings...I'm talking about jumping the species barrier. Naturally, not through scientific gene-manipulation.

Oh, by the way. "Acquired characteristics" is actually in the Bible, did you know that? Read the story of Jacob and the 'spotted' livestock.

Why Do Atheists Hate America?

The nation's largest atheist group wants you to imagine a world without the Pledge of Allegiance, without faith, without patriotism, and without America as we know it. However, In God We Trust is standing up to them with a new advertising campaign that exposes how much the radical Atheist movement hates America and everything our nation stands for.

The Freedom from Religion Foundation has begun posting their "Imagine No Religion" billboards all across the country. So, In God We Trust has created our own billboard campaign asking "Why Do Atheists Hate America?"

Why does this particular atheist group seem to want to banish people of faith? Our sign doesn't say, ‘Imagine No Atheists.' All we want is a public debate. We want the atheists to defend some of the Anti-American statements they've made. Not only that, but we would like to know how ‘Imagine No Religion' is different than ‘Imagine No Christians' or ‘Imagine No Jews'? Think about what these atheists are really saying. ‘Imagine No Mother Theresa?' ‘Imagine No Martin Luther King, Jr.?' I guess that's the kind of world in which these atheists think we would all be better off living. We disagree, and we think most Americans feel the same way.

Usually, children's books do not scare me. But I just read a children's book entitled "Barack" by Jonah Winter, with illustrations by AG Ford, published on September 30, 2008 by Katherine Tegen Books, an imprint of Harper Collins Publishers. "Barack's" dust jacket states that it is for children ages 4-7. This book scared me very much.

I am scared because of what this book will do to my daughter and other children who read it. My little girl is six and a half years of age. I will not allow her to read this book or have it read to her without my being able to explain to her what was omitted from the book. I will be checking with her school teachers for the next five years or so to make sure that she is not exposed to this book without the material that was omitted. To do otherwise would allow my child to become a victim of political deception.

No, I meant that in the Koran there is a description of the last days which is similar to the Bible's except that it is looking at it from the side of evil. Their Anti-Christ does almost exactly what Jesus is supposed to do in the Last Days. It doesn't name him as Jesus, but the Islamic Anti-Christ is too similar to the Second Coming for it to be a coincidence. This supports my theory that Mohamed actually did meet a spiritual being, but that it was Satan or one of his minions. After all, Satan is supposed to be able to appear as a beautiful angel.

Quote# 54338

Today marks the 75th year since PROHIBITION ended. Don't believe the lying propaganda that prohibition was a bad idea... ALCOHOL PROHIBITION was good! Prohibition was the right thing to do! Prohibition failed because of the sinfulness of the American people and because many authorities refused to enforce the law. Then, just as today, people break the law because they know the penalties are minor. God says give the death penalty to every drunk driver who kills someone (Exodus 21:24).

Did Evangelist Billy Sunday waste the best years of his life fighting the booze industry? No, God instructs all Christians to "RISE UP FOR ME AGAINST THE EVILDOERS" (Psalm 94:16). Billy Sunday did what every Christian today should be doing... speaking out against the evils of booze! (Ephesians 5:11). Was the Anti-Saloon League wrong in their efforts to outlaw booze? No, they were fighting against a menace to society, which alcohol still is today.

It is not surprising that many Americans today are singing praises over the failure of PROHIBITION, when you consider that 71% of Americans in 2006 confessed to drinking alcohol...

[in response to a question of "why is evolution evil"]

Because the prophet of evoloutionism, Darwin was a rascist and a sexist and he was also gay but he loved to bash gay people for some odd reason.

Anyway he incorporated these beleifs into his own version of Mein Keimf (U kno the book by hitler). He called it the Origins of Species.

Its alot like Hitlers book actually, come to think of it im pretty sure he plagerized it off Hitler.

Quote# 54358

(from a longer article discussing the evils of the world and the effect on teenagers)

Therefore, my husband and I have come up with a checklist for evaluating the effects of popular culture on our teens:

* Does my teenager regard spiritual exercises (reading the Word, going to church) as dull and boring?
* Does my teen talk more about movies and music than spiritual things? Where is his/her heart?
* Does my teen disdain wholesome, simple fun as beneath him/her?
* Does he/she feel that he/she can only be communicated with through certain forms? (E.g., “This is my music. This is what speaks to me.”)
* Does my teen feel that popularity in a crowd that exalts pop culture is a must-have?
* Does the music my teen listens to exhibit irreverence or a casual attitude toward Christianity (not to mention sex or violence)?
* Does my teen disdain high culture in any way?
* Does my teen constantly push the boundaries, trying to go deeper and deeper into pop culture?
* Does pop culture significantly shape the way my teen dresses, acts, and talks?
* Does my teenager find rough, coarse, or rebellious people attractive?

if the answer to more than one or two of these is “yes,” the teenager’s heart has been drawn into the world. A fast from cultural junk food, along with lots of family discussion that prayerfully and intelligently evaluates art forms, can help purify his heart. We can minimize subjective judgment when we distance ourselves enough from the culture to evaluate it. The books quoted in this article can greatly enhance family studies.

Interesting thing I keep seeing in this thread: over and over it's stated that evolution is true, a fact, real science, etc. How absurd. Not one shred of evidence is available for evolution, and I find it interesting how much people will stand on evolution as fact, almost in a panic.

Also stated is that Creationism is anti-science. Oh, and of course, evolution IS science, right? Wait, neither were observed. Neither have been repeated. So if we didn't see it happen and we can't make it happen, sorry folks, neither is science. Both are a BELIEF OF ORIGINS. So where does science come into play? Simple: we can use science as a tool to test our theories of our beliefs. Over and over the evidence to support Creation is overwhelming to the point of saying "enough already with the fairy tale of evolution". But, the evidence for evolution? Totally NONE, and that's admitted by some evolutionists. It's time you be honest with yourself and seriously ask why you Rebel against our Creator.

Have you ever been to a "Megachurch." You know, one of those big concert hall churches with hundreds of people attending. Have you ever seen a fist fight in one? Have you seen how much money they get?
Our public high schools have even more students than most "Megachurches" have members, and they suffer from limited funding and violence. If we just allow the preachers of these churches to have some time in our high schools, many of our problems will be solved.

¨ The sincere, polite, hard-working Japanese are too busy to give heed to the gospel and have little concept of personal sin. Pray that economic shocks, political instability and fears for the future may shake many out of complacency.

¨ There is a resurgence of a nationalistic Shintoism which is hostile to anything un-Japanese.

¨ New religions and sects have grown faster than evangelical Christianity. Pray that those involved would be set free.

We DO provide evidence for our claims, AND say that God did it because, he does do everything.
we say things are evil because we believe it, that doesn't mean you have to.
i refuse to even take the last thing seriously.
when do you get the advantage? you have the advantage, you already stole our country, and destroyed everything this nation once stood for, what else do you want?

Evolution is a theory in the same sense that creation is a theory. Neither have been proven through rigorous scientific method, though I would have to say that the theory of creation is winning in that category. All attempted "proofs" for evolution have fallen flat in that they can be equally explained by other theories. And judging by your tone and word choice in your blog entry I would have to hand it to you for demonstrating a clear lack of honest inquiry.

Archaeology cannot prove that the Bible is God's written word to us. However, archaeology can (and does) substantiate the Bible's historical accuracy. Archaeologists have consistently discovered the names of government officials, kings, cities, and festivals mentioned in the Bible when historians didn't think such people or places ever existed.

Archaeology consistently confirms the historical accuracy of the Bible and there is no empirical science that conflicts with scripture.

[A earlier poster asks Chaplainwinston to paraphrase what he thinks evolution is/states]

I can't! It is a hodge podge of different and ever changing theories. They can't explain why they are no transitional life forms so some confused scientist came up with a theory, and gave it a name I can't remember. So now they say a new life form is spontaneously generated totally different from the animal that bore it. Like a bird birthing a lizard. And they leave it at that. It doesn't even have the same diet. How on earth does it find a mate and reproduce? Another Bird at the same time has to birth another lizard spontaneously of the opposite sex and they have to find each other. Adam did not go around looking for a woman before Eve. He had no idea, he could not even conceive what a woman was nor what she could do for him. God decided he needed a help meet and created a women to meet his need.

The Quran says a fluid that is emmited which means to send out or produced. Then the Quran says in verse 7 "Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs:" . Proceed which means to continue with something and can also mean to come from a source. The source which semen origantes from is the abdomen!
