Its really funny to see how all the evolutionists feel so threatened by this. If evolution is so pure and true, then you should have nothing to fear from "intelligent design" being taught as another theory of creation. But that's just it. You have a LOT to fear because the theory of evolution does not hold water when scrutinized. But it really is easier to believe in evolution. Believing in evolution allows you equate human beings to the beasts of the wild. When you put people on the same plane as animals instead of beings created in God's image, it makes it easier for you to justify the horrors of abortion, euthanasia, and other such atrocities.

I don't give a care about beliefs; mathematics and science- both of which are hated by the vast majority of the population- should be used to determine which religions are right and wrong. Instead, we worry more about being politically correct and trying to please the masses than trying to use science. I wouldn't be surprised if the evolutionists tried to press legislation to remove the teaching of the scientific method from school.

Quote# 37529

My daughter, who is 6, came home from school yesterday with a quarterly newsletter. As I was reading it I took notice that they are having a school wide day on April 24 called Rainbow Day. This shook me up a bit because I have noticed how homosexuality is being "supported" by schools across the country.
I did a search to find out if possibly this was a gay pride day or month or maybe I was just being paranoid. Well, I did find that when I put in the search terms April 24 gay pride, several websites came up showing that the nearest city to us (15 min away) has that whole week dedicated to black gay pride. This concerned me knowing that the town I am from likes to follow what this city does.
So, I take my daughter to school today and I asked her teacher what this Rainbow Day was and what my daughter was to be doing that day. Strangely the teacher acted like she didn't have a clue what this day was. Then she goes into the office (taking about 10 min) and comes out with 2 other teachers and all three are stammering on what to tell me.
Then they end up coming up with this grand answer of "Well, all the students are to wear brightly colored clothing that day and the closer to being a rainbow the better. But, even better, if the students could wear actual rainbows proudly that would work also.
Ok, am I paranoid or am I smelling a cover up to this being a gay pride or gay supportive day? I live in a small town that everything is hush hush and anything out of the ordinary is either covered up or brushed off.
I'm not trying to be a crazy parent here but I don't want my daughter participating in something that maybe supporting homosexuality. And believe me, I have nothing against rainbows. I think they are one of the most beautiful things that G-d has created.

A SENIOR minister of a Sydney Anglican parish has made an extraordinary attack on the High Court judge Michael Kirby, warning he would face the wrath of God if he remained unrepentant as a gay man.

The rector of St Stephen's Church in Bellevue Hill, the Reverend Richard Lane, denounced the judge for calling himself a Christian Anglican while living in an openly gay relationship and warned as a "messenger, watchman and steward of the Lord in the Anglican Church of Australia", he faced God's judgment.

To call himself a Christian Anglican was a "perversion of truth" and to continue to do so without changing his lifestyle would brand him, like Herod, a "coward, a liar, a deceiver" and a "lawless one".

Why family planning? If it's for saving the live of the mother then it is the responsibility of both husband and wife. Have we exhausted the oxygen, cultivated all the arable land or are we about to exhaust all the resource God gave us? No to family planning. Let us make as many children as God wishes us to make .They are the real joy of this life.

It's simple, Energy can't be created nor destroyed so your energy can't die. Also your energy states can't die.

So when you get married that's an energy state.

When you go to work that's an energy state.

If you love your wife that feeling survives death.

If you commit suicide and your angry at the world that feeling survives death.

Fact 1: Energy doesn't die.

Fact 2. Your Energy states don't die.

Fact 3. You survive death and everything you did while in the body survives death.

Everything that you do in the body requires energy and is a unique energy state. Energy states don't die.

I'm just going to be a blunt as possible here.
Almost every thread about the rapture here we always say "It feels so close, but.....I know it could be 20 or more years away..."

IMO, I just don't think it would be. There are TOO MANY signs that line up with the scriptures. Our enemies have stated straight out that the countdown has begun. The probability of everything in the ME being set up exactly as it is, at this very time...THIS Generation...is far from a fluke or coincidence in History.

Ahmadinejad will not wait another 20 years to bring in his magical pony riding, well dwelling, mahdi.:rocking
That means he will create as much destruction as he can, as soon as he can. The chess pieces are being aligned as I type. Yes, we may very well see a war..maybe the destruction of Damascus.....? but the Lord promised us he would keep us from those things which are to come.

Christians & Atheists: Why are Atheists so smart?
Just think-
1. An Atheist doesn't have to read the Bible or know much about it to reject it and call it false.
2. Some Atheists say they can't believe in something they can't see. They.haven't seen an actual photo of Columbus or Jesus but they know Columbus existed and Jesus didn't..Talk about smart.
3.They cut down answers about the love of Christ and forgiveness because they know that no one should love and forgive. Talk about smart!
4.If they ever do actually read anything in the Bible they only have to pick out a verse or two to find fault with it. They are sooo smart they don't have to read all of the story to see what it actually means. Talk about smart!
5..An Atheist has ESP because they don't have to go to Church to know that what goes on in church is wrong. Talk about smart!
6.If asked, Atheists don't have to admit they are just looking for an excuse not to believe. They KNOW they are just searching for an excuse. Talk about smart.--But -they ain't found one yet. Agree?

From my personal experience studying evolution vs creation ... the theory for evolution (mainly, big bang) has too many chance numbers to be actively effective in stating how everything came about, you have to factor in the chance of the right formation of amino acids, the right chance of weather climates , the right change of the temperature of the water , the right change of a sterile offspring from 2 creatures mating ... and as always with both view you're still faced how something could originate from nothing.

Lies! Lies! and more lies! Jesus' mother was a dirty, rotten, sinner just like Adolf Hitler or any other sinner. James 2:10 states, "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." I don't care if you've only committed a small handful of sins in your life, you are as guilty IN THE EYES OF GOD as a mass-murdering criminal. Committing even one sin is enough to bring a person under the condemnation of God's Law; thus, sentencing them to eternal Hellfire. So the question is... did Jesus' mother ever sin one time? According to the Bible she did. Catholics pervert the Scriptures, claiming that Romans 3:23 doesn't apply to Mary, when it states... "For ALL have sinned." What part of ALL don't Catholics understand? We know Jesus never sinned because the Bible tells us so (2nd Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15). There is nothing mentioned in the Scriptures about Mary being sinless, without any corruption, or assumed into Heaven.

If you think that Christianity is a myth or fake then test it.

God wants to show people that he's real. Jesus also said, "Test your GOD my FATHER,"

Test my GOD if you wish. Pray to him and said, "That a child of yours told me to test his GOD THAT'S YOU." Then when you get done saying that. You could pray for heath or healing or marriage or new house or new car what ever you want to pray about. It mite be a while. You just have to keep praying OVER AND OVER. When you get done talking to him say AMEN.

When I'd was typing this comment I was also praying on it. I'd felt the POWER OF THE LIVING GOD GOING THROUGHT TO THE KEYBROAD.

Chimps and humans don't share the same ancestor. They are two completely different species. If you are trying to use Darwin's theory of evolution, or some lame brained scientific HYPOTHESIS, then you my friend are using evidence that lacks credibility.

Darwin threw his theory out the window on his death bed. They don't have the same ancestor, but they DO have the same creator.

(To somewhat paraphrase MATTHEW, from April 6th, 2008 at 7:01pm)

Dear Self (P.A.),

I think it useless to argue with GENO about evolution being fact. It is amazing that evolutionists accept that all dogs came a common ancestor, with incredible built-in diversity, yet do not call this evidence for divine creation.

They use ambiguous thinking, and carefully ignore any term of faith/belief/religion.

Evolution literalists either do not want to know the facts, do not want to understand the facts or they want to ignore the facts.

[Excerpted from a blog in response to McDonald's having an executive on the board of a gay business group.]

My son and I often stop by McDonald's for a bite to eat after homeschool bowling on Fridays.

But not today.

...

Not today, in light of reports that McDonald's has decided, apparently, to declare war on my family. And to declare war on the civilization of liberty, independence, creativity, and humanity under God that my Dad fought for in World War II.

...

For human beings, this is a matter of liberty under God -- Why help finance groups that turn their backs on the Declaration of Independence, the Founding vision, and the living Creator who holds it all together?

...

Maybe we'll stop by Chick-Fil-A instead. It's a little out of the way, but I hear they like families.

Real families -- not ones made up by the ACLU last Tuesday.

My guess, just off-hand, would be ZERO. I don't think there are any American-Christian terrorists. [ we'll exclude President Bush for the sake of brevity].
But the only Americans who have been caught and detained as terrorists seem to have switched over to another, ah, religion [if bombing and killing innocent people can be called a 'religion'].
Funny thing is, I Posted a similar Question about a month ago using another nationality and religion [maybe like Arab-Islamic. maybe] and got Reported and my Account "Suspended" within an hour.
I'm wondering if there is a double-standard here?
Anyway, what was the question?

Quote# 37492

Can someone please explain to me the problem of teaching multiple, scientific theories of the beginnings of the earth in public schools? Evolution, as a stand alone explanation for all life on earth has been repeatedly found lacking (e.g. no transitional forms, the problem of infinite regression of causes, lack of vestigal organs) as a single explanation. Why should teachers not be allowed to point out these deficiencies and point to other theories, like intelligent design, that propose solutions to the problems. And before you attack me as a religious zealot, please take note that intelligent design in no way implies which "intelligent" agent designed life. The bottom line is, the irreducible complexity of some of life's most basic systems has never been explained by evolutionists, despite the challenge to do so being published over 10 years ago. Until a plausible and scientifically valid explanation can be provided, I think we must consider and teach alternative explanations. Science only gets better and more robust through exploring alternate explanations for observed phenomenon, not by silencing dissent.

I am a freshman at UTSA. Today, my friends and I were walking through the HSS building in the main corridor and, to my surprise, we noticed an Atheist Agenda poster.

It was a large, hand-drawn sign that was clearly visible to students passing by. On the poster, there was a drawing of Jesus Christ just before His crucifixtion with an Easter egg that had just come out of His rear.

I am disgusted at the fact that Atheists can personally attack Christian beliefs and faith. I understand that atheism is the belief in no gods; however, why must they attack Christianity?

There are plenty of religions that have beliefs in a god: Muslim, Hindu, Buddhism, etc. Why must Christians be personally targeted when it comes to the Atheist Agenda?

In morality, I believe that this act has personally violated my constitutional right. I feel as though I am being persecuted for faith.

I believe in freedom of speech, but when boundaries are pushed and others are persecuted, I believe there should be a consequence. Why was this sign even approved? Thank you for your time.

Atheists ???
if you do not beleive in god, they why are you so concerned with him? As if you want him out of the country, If he isnt real? then what is the big deal! and why do you find it necessary to go to places like the religion section of yahoo answers and make fun of people who do as if it bothers them. The christian people do not care if you are atheist nor what you beleive, there is a section for you to express your feelings and a section to express ours, and if there is no god, the leave it at that and keep your ignorant mouths shut. Just because we dont beleive that we came from monkeys, and that a explosion magically created trees, waterfalls, the sky, star, and all the things that work together inside the human body just to be able to live, doesnt mean you have to question our beleifs. And for the atheists who dont care where you came from, get an idea b4 you tell us were wrong,
