If you think you are so smart, smarter than God obviously, then why don't you prove that those two theory's are true. That's just it, they're theories. If you think you are smart enough to come down on christians for not believing what you believe then let's see you do magic and prove this stuff is true. You can talk the talk but can you walk the walk? A theory is just a thought, nothing proved true...duhhhh tweedledumb. Also, if the Bible wasn't correct, then why would they be telling us what conditions would be like in the future, and actually be right about it...war,famine,pestilence,immorality, men having no natural affection, blasphemers, haughty, and disobedient. Man is dominating man to his own injury today, and the Bible knew that was going to happen. The Bible is Correct!

Nickelodeon use to make ME feel uncomfortable when I was a teen and my younger siblings would watch. Never really put my finger on it, but changed the channel whenever I saw it on.

My own kids don't even know Nick exists LOL. For that matter, Cartoon Network makes the same flags go up in my gut. I listen.

If we have cartoons on, either it's from the huge dvd collection or Boomerang. Boomerang shows old Pink Panther, Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Grape Ape, Hong Kong Phooey, etcetera. Sure they are not politically correct for today, but then neither is my family. I'd rather have that naughty pink panther smoking his cigarette on the screen than SpongeBob walking into the romantic sunset holding hands with another male character.........which is exactly what got SpongeBob banned from our house 6 years ago.

[Re: a poster's questions: "But what if they don't hear it [the Gospel]? Or hear it but don't recognize it? Is it right for them to be sent to hell because their ears aren't as well-tuned?]

Making this statement shows that in your mind you question the fact that none will be left without the 'witness' of the Word. You are assuming that a righteous, just, merciful, compassionate Father will allow ones to perish in sin without the opportunity to accept the Gospel of Christ. You should go back and rethink your ideas in the Light of the Word.
Your statement;['Is it right for them to be sent to hell because their ears aren't as well-tuned?']proves that your confidence and faith in Father is lacking in some points and that you are letting the 'worldview' creep into your thoughts. These thoughts should be brought captive under the Mind of Christ, and cast out and considered no more.
Effectively, your statement 'judges' God by questioning whether His decisions would be 'wrong or right', and puts yourself in danger of hellfire.
Please repent from this and correct this problem in your life, before it costs you a great price, for God will not be mocked.

The secular world will never understand the beauty of polygamy. How are you qualified to pass judgement on us? We are living the one true principle given to us by the prophet Joseph Smith. We demand our right to live with freedom of religion! The United States has stepped on our rights and...now they have taken our children to place them in worldly homes where the girls will suffer. They will cut their hair (god's crowning glory), paint them with whores make-up, and give them to boys with no holy bond to court in worldly ways. They say we're abusing our children!! Ridiculous. Our children are loved better than secularist mothers who leave them at daycares to promote their ego by having careers. It takes a real mother to raise children. Spiritual marriage is beautiful. I am to my sister wives as I am to my husband. We are populating the world with perfect souls and not souls like the godless nigg*** who are ruining the USA. No one cares what you think of polygamy. We know we are living God's true ordinance in accordance with eternity's principles. I will thank you to stop spreading vicious lies or attitudes about JESUS CHRIST'S TRUE CHURCH. You will not stop us.

I'm just saying christians seem to always be the ones to show "tolerance" -- why can't the worldlings be expected to do the same. If we express that we are offended by certain things (whatever, not necessarily immodest women), shouldn't we expect the same courtesy they expect of us?

This sad passing fancy called "modern science" is going to be trounced by religion very soon.

The Blessed Virgin Mary gave to St. Bernadette several prophecies, one of which reads to the effect that science will find a way to blend the essences of men and animals and that the resulting monsters will finally turn mankind against science. She further predicted that the scientists would be "hunted down like ravening wolves".

I can't wait. They are nothing but narrow, small minded human beings with stunted souls who wish to be God.

By thinking the Earth is billions of years old. Each layer sat there for millions of years waiting for the next one. Which of course brings up the obvious question, where's this material coming from? You know, you keep adding to the Earth to get this mile thick geologic column. Where's all this dirt coming from? It has to come from somewhere.

Tell them the truth as far as they can understand it. I don't know the age of your girls or what you have taught them so far so I can't give you exact advice. You could try saying that McDonald's is supporting behaviors that God says are bad and because of that, you don't feel it's appropriate to support McDonald's by going there to get happy meals anymore. Tell them if McDonald's decides to stop supporting those behaviors and follow God's laws again, you will be most happy to take them there again. Then take them to Burger King and get a kid's club meal or to Arby's and get their kid's meal.

[...] Scientists speculate (yeah, I know, take what they know with a grain of salt right), that the number of electrons in the known universe is Ten quinvigintillion. That's a 1 with 79 zero's. (I know this number because my 10 year old son LOVES large numbers). Anyway, I was reading that to have all the prophecies of Jesus, which I believe are 48 to be fulfilled by Christ is 1 in One Unquinquagintillion which is a 1 with 157 zero's. Wow! Isn't that amazing folks! I stand in awe of what the Lord is and does. Now with a record like that, how can people still deny He is Christ.

{Regarding the Genesis story of creation - "You honestly think the sequence is in any way correct? Lovely. Since when did birds come before land animals?"]

Yes, I believe so. Even I do not understand why. (another one you may question is plants before the sun)

The reason that I can do this comfortably is because I established my faith from many other similar, but non-biological verses in the Bible. Compare to the nature of Paleontology, I rather believe what the Bible says. It is not just a blind faith (I don't do that). I have a lot of proofs. They are much better than those conclusions derived from simple logic used by paleontology.

I don´t only doubt evolution, but completely deny it..
It is the worst interpretation of facts that I have ever seen in my life and can´t understand how supposedly rational people can come to that conclusion.
Nothing exploded or we don´t know what or where it came from.
and from that explosion came all of the whole universe, and then life started by itself. What kind of supposed logic is that..
Just like saying that my car made itself..

So sad that our precious kids are subject to this crud.
I let my kids watch SpongeBob,but they were old enough to be warned that there were gay undertones to the show, and to not buy into it.
I would be listening to the show's dialogue, and hear gay verbage that conveniently could be taken either way...kind of the writer's way of covering himself.
I continue to pray for SB's writers/directors for salvation in Jesus.

Mammals and birds are the highest forms of life and the most "evolved". But most of them have offspring that are born helpless and unfit to survive on their own. Every life form before mammals and birds has offspring that are essentially self-reliant and truly fit to survive. It is not possible for Darwinism to explain how life could evolve in the direction of having less and less fit babies. If Darwin were correct, each new species that evolves would have babies that are more fit.

Thanks for your support, Laurie. I HATE evil and that show is EVIL.

There is something HORRIBLY wrong with a show that thinks a child molester(Herbert the 90 year old pervert) and a date rapist pervert(Quagmire) is funny. They're not.

And to add to the sickneningness is the baby, Stewie who already talks with a man's voice and has the mind of a young man rather than a baby, and this baby WANTS to be sexually molested by teenaged girls and even was sexually molested by one in one eppie.

It is a HORRIBLE evil disgusting show. IF Sodom and Gomorrah had TV, Family Guy would probably be their #1 show.

(From a news article on Higgs boson particles)

When I was a little kid I remember reading in the Bible the story of how Jesus appeared to his disciples after his resurrection. But He said, "Touch me not, for I have not yet ascended to my Father." Thomas happened not to be there, so when he was told about it, dismissed it as collective hysteria on the part of the witnesses. Something on the order of, yeah, we all loved the guy, he was a great man, but he's dead. So when again Jesus appeared, he noticed Thomas standing apart with his eyes bugging out of his head. "Thomas, it's me. Really. Come here. feel my scars." The difference between appearance one and two? In the latter, he was flesh and blood. In the former he was probably something like anti-matter. One touch and ka-boom! Goodbye universe. Whoever wrote this originally did not know from molecular physics or whatever kind of science is involved. It was written as it happened. Now, over fifty years after first reading this, I sure would like to know the science behind it. .

"crockadiles are desedants and havent changed so smaller but still dino's
I think in the vastness of the oceans their could still be dino we havent seen yet still living" - Chris Meads

"Based on what I have learned (history class even history channel) plus the Word's teaching, I honestly believe GOD destroyed the dinosaurs (or giant creatures) in the Flood, if not maybe a meteor/comet. I think this was for our own sake since the Fall, we cursed the earth basically and lost control over Creation. If the dinosaurs were indeed real, they would have destroyed us fast." -Chad

"I believe dinosaurs were on Noah's Ark. Then, after the flood was over, all of the plants, animals and people that wasn't on the Ark were drowned. Dinosaurs were really big, therefore they needed more oxygen to breath, than humans and littler animals. All of those plants that were destroyed by the flood gave off oxygen. So in conclusion, the dinosaurs died off because of lack of oxygen that was needed for them to live." -Cody

"it seems to me that when the canopy of water over the earth was pierced and fell on the earth, the climate was so much cooler after the flood, that the dinosaurs could not survive and became extinct." -macca

[From the decision of Europen Council: “Creationism, which declares Scripture true then seeks material evidence to support the claim.”]

I would correct that to, “seeing that all the evidence we currently have available points to the Scripture being true we now seek the evidence to support it’s claims regarding human origins” - that’s more precise.

[Something gibberish, sorry, couldn't read what it said]

Indeed, you cannot count on the typical Darwinist for beginning from a position of either honesty or truth seeking.

They balways start from a “How dare you question Darwin, you fundamentalist fanatic you!” stance.

The only Darwinists I’ve met who were honestly seeking the truth of the matter are now IDists or full blown creationists.
