okay here's something cool I belive that there used to be a canopy of water above the atmosphear and it would enable people to grow to up to 13" tall and live to be 900 years old.

I was aware of that yes it's in psalms and it's probably talking about heaven, did you know that there might be water outside this universe or space the bible says that the lord sits on many waters.

And there's one more thing: how come you atheists can't just respond with a NORMAL debate WITHOUT going to the CHILDISH use of harsh language? Could it be because believers like me are RIGHT that guys like you want to take over the world, just like Bin Laden AND Pat Robertson, and eliminate anyone that doesn't agree with you?

Anyone who defends the Jesuits is truly a deceiver.

I'm not concerned with your "anti-catholic" complaints, we are all free to worship as we see fit, and my religion says the pope and his system is the antichrist.

Beyond that, they are just globalist hell bent on world domination. And you support them. This is where freedom of religion ends. You and those like you are traitors who should be removed from these shores.

There will be name calling and complaints, it is to be expected.

I've read that doctors in earlier times gained insight about hygiene from Leviticus. It seems Lister was one of those.

I also recall hearing an OB-Gyn once say that it takes longer for a woman's hormones to return to proper balance after the birth of a girl.

A lot of practical information has come from Leviticus.

No TV and no books or movies that have any sort of contradictions to the Word of God! This means even books by Christian authors who have come under the microscope for poor doctrine or misrepresentation of the Bible.

We play only Christian music - whether it is praise music or the beloved hymns we have known all our life and even our six year-old daughter is loving it!

I just praise God for his faithfulness and all that he is doing in and through our lives here in the RR family! God bless you all, I love you and long for the day that we can join hands, stand in awe of our creator and celebrate together! Whoooo! That is gonna rock! I can't wait!

Until we prove that God exists, the Bible is not truth.

That is an illogical statement as the bible proves God exists because the bible is a recording of God revealing himself.

Quote# 37253

To hear tell, geocentrism, the ancient doctrine that the earth is fixed motionless at the center of the universe, died over four centuries ago. At that time Nicolaus Copernicus (picture below), a Polish canon who dabbled in astrology, claimed that the sun and not the earth was at the center of the universe. His idea is known as heliocentrism. It took a hundred years for heliocentrism to become the dominant opinion, and it did so with a complete lack of evidence in its favor.

Copernicus Yet the victory of heliocentrism has been less than total. Over the years geocentrism has had its spokesmen. Among scientists who adhered to the centrality of the earth were three generations of Cassinis: a family of astronomers who dominated French astronomy from the late seventeenth to the early nineteenth centuries. Astronomers, pastors, and educators in the Missouri Synod of the Lutheran Church maintained the geocentric truths well into the twentieth century. They, with the reformers such as Luther, saw that the embracing of heliocentrism would weaken not only science, but also the authority of the Bible.

(Rep. Monique Davis on atheism)

Davis: It’s dangerous to the progression of this state. And it’s dangerous for our children to even know that your philosophy exists! Now you will go to court to fight kids to have the opportunity to be quiet for a minute. But damn if you’ll go to [court] to fight for them to keep guns out of their hands. I am fed up! Get out of that seat!

Sherman: Thank you for sharing your perspective with me, and I’m sure that if this matter does go to court---

Davis: You have no right to be here! We believe in something. You believe in destroying! You believe in destroying what this state was built upon.

99% of teenagers who do not pledge to remain virgins until marriage end up having premarital sex.
88% of teenagers who do pledge to remain virgins until marriage end up having premarital sex.]]

I just have to admit that I think those statistics are at least a little bit wrong. For instance, there is me, and then I can think of at least a dozen or so friends who won't have sex until marriage, and then at least a dozen or so friends who didn't have sex until they got married. Maybe I just hang out with a really obscure group of people? Maybe I happen to be friends with everybody who isn't one of those percent! Scary .

Probably closer to 90% kids who have premarital sex these days. At my school, probably more like 25%, but that's only because we're a really smart private school.

So the activist liberal judge says that Pastor Hovind owes the US Government a great deal of money - but did they count all the good he had done? Did they count the souls he helped save, and the kids he educated? Every single child who passes through Dinosaur Adventure Land gets to learn about how neo-Darwinism is a lie - would they have learnt that important message had Kent not done his best? Did they count the fact that he works for Jesus, the person who founded the USA, a higher authority than even the President? I put it to you that it is not Kent who owes the IRS, but the US government who owes Kent. But hold on a minute - didn’t the Bible say that holy people would be tested? Kent is yet another martyr for Jesus, willing to go to prison to stand up for what he thinks is right. I just know that God has a plan for him, and if that means he has to do ten years in a prison I am sure that Kent will face up to that plan with his usual dignity and moral courage. Heck, he might even get to teach some of his fellow prisoners about the exciting science of Intelligent Design - perhaps that is what God wants?

[In a thread about the bad state of the economy]

This is all a huge liberal LIE!! As usual, we're told by the media that times are terrible and things are bad and that we can't even feed our families during an election when a God-Fearing candidate is in office. If Ted Kennedy was the President, we'd be told that everything is fine. Believe that! You all saw that when Clinton was president.

This causes those with weak faith to vote for the Sin-Endorsing candidate to "improve the economy." I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the homosexual lobby was behind the house prices dropping and gas prices raising. That way, they can get Obama in the White House and get Homosexuals the right to get married.

It seems there is no evidence for atheism. No evidence of any sort- scientific or otherwise. It makes little sense for the truth to have no evidence at all to support it. Therefore atheism can't be truth. It has no supporting evidence, nothing at all.
Don't bother protesting you don't need evidence, and defining your beliefs in such a way that does not require any. Truth would have evidence to support it.

[On the subject of the "Trials of Egypt", the killing of first-borns in particular]

May be the answer lies in MATTHEW 19: 12-15, were little children are brought to Jesus and the disciples try to stop them and Jesus rebukes his disciples and says '' Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.''

Access to the kingdom of heaven is through repenting of your sins, children have not had enough time to sin, so access is immediate. So most of the Egyptian children would have walked straight in. And they died in their sleep, then they did not suffer either. It would have been their parents that suffered for their disobedience.

There are only two possibilities
1. God exists
2. God's existance is a lie

so which is it welshboy? You folks don't want to say it's a lie because then it means you have to produce evidence. So instead you hide behind words to justify why you don't need to share any evidence for your beliefs, because you HAVE NO EVIDENCE.

One thing someone hasn't mentioned yet is that: The media is a tool of the enemy (Satan) to influence people in a ungodly manner that's why it is so liberal and anti christian...We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers of the air...Our enemies are not the liberals who control the airways but the evil spirits who control them...The liberals are only puppets in this battle..I say this because liberals, and liberal agenda's are almost always against Gods agenda's!!...Whether it be the media, institutions of higher learning (our college campuseses), the scientific communty, entertainment, etc. etc. it's all built on secular humanisim, false hoods, lies, deception, it's all a battle for souls..Its a battle between good, and evil, a battle between light, and darkness...But glory to God I read the end of the book we win!!

God isn't ALLOWED to call men to preach anymore. Our Pastor told us that he sees these young men on fire for God, with such a desire to be used and to preach. But FIRST, "you must attend seminary. so they can indoctrinate you and set you straight." Then once they finish 6 years of schooling, the fire has gone out and only a tiny spark remains.
So many have been puffed up with pride by then too because of their education. Education doesn't impress the Lord.
