[Review of Harry Potter]

Harry Potter books are written by an actual practicing witch to indoctrinate our youth. These books contain accurate depictions of ritual magic and satanic doctrines. Those who say it's "just fiction" need a reality check! Fiction is the best way to promote occult belief systems! (Just ask Walt Disney. His job as a 33rd degree Freemason was to condition American children to embrace occult themes in entertainment.)

Lots of reviewers who don't know anything about the occult will assure you that this book is not occult doctrine. That's like a blind person telling you there are no misspellings! Here are the facts; look them up on your own and verify. (Of over 5000 reviews, I can't find ONE that states these facts.)

The cover illustration employs overtly satanic symbols include the lightning bolt on his forehead--a Biblical symbol of Satan (who like lightning fell from heaven). There is also the unicorn--a Biblical symbol of the Antichrist (as all witches know). This book promotes drug use--brews with mind-altering fumes using wormwood which in real life contains a hypnotic drug. The series also features demonic possession, necromancy, and divination. Death is described as a great adventure for the occult practicioner--the actual satanic doctrine on death.

Occult numerology runs throughout the book, including the intentional use of 11, 13 and 33 and numbers that break down into those numbers. These are not accidental. The owner of the sorcerer's stone is 666 years old in this book. So the quest is associated with the Biblical number of the Beast. What more do you need?? Non-magical people are described as boring with pointless lives. The glory goes to witchcraft--the gateway into hardcore satanism (according to former high ranking satanists and witches like John Todd and William Schnoebelen.) We need to realize that life is all about a spiritual war and start using better discernment in order not to be manipulated by doctrines of evil. Harry Potter is only one of many that has been revealed. Learn more at cuttingedge.org.

*about the mens rights movement*

A woman speaking for a movement that doesn't exist.

How many feminists have been killed by this movement?
How many laws have been changed?

None. The movement doesn't exist.
It's just peeps complaining on the net mostly.

Here's a counterpoint: The Islamic movement does exist: it's killed loads of it's enemies and has had laws changed to its will (esp in UK and canada).
Another counterpoint: The black rights movement did exit: it killed a number of its opponents (via the black panthers) and did have many laws changed to it's will in the US and western world.
Another counterpoint: The women's movement: it has had thousands of husbands murdered by their wives with impunity. Millions of men jailed at the behest of women. Every law it wanted passed and changed.

When the men's movement starts murdering the enemies of Men (feminist women and their supporters) AND if one day my opinions some how lower the rate of the murder of feminist women... then I'll shut up. I would never want to harm the effectivness of a REAL men's movement. A movement where feminist women and their supporters DIE.

The men's movement does not yet exist.

In our town there is a very old historic movie theater. The now owner is a professed christian who teaches a Sunday school class at his church. But he has called in 'ghost hunters' because so many strange things happen there. Its been front page news. I don't know what the employees of this theater are seeing, if anything.... but we all know if theres something there its demonic in nature and shouldn't be messed with. This man must not know much about what his bible says about this subject... but he needs to look into it.

[the whole article is full of fail, but this stood out to me the most]

A powerful method of indoctrination is to link Christian principles with negative events in order to divert thinking from the truth. Examples of association propaganda in the classroom follow, with the associated words highlighted:

*

“Understanding Imperialism: [Defined as] economic and political control of other nations. …Many imperialists believed that they had a God-given mission to spread Christianity.”[9]
*

“A total of 160,000 Spanish inhabitants, mostly men, had subjugated some 5 million Indians – all in the name of the gentle Jesus.”[10]
*

“Among [the conquistadors] were missionaries…. At times the goal to convert Indians was achieved by force. Many were forced to work on haciendas owned by Spaniards of the Catholic Church. Life for Indians in Spanish America was shaped by missionaries.… Millions died from disease and overwork.”[11]

The textbook’s goal is to associate Christianity with negative connotations of force and control. In the last example above, Christian missions and the church are made interchangeable with the Spanish and Conquest. Absent is the truth that missions protected Indians against both Spanish and slave-trading Indian tribes, and often were welcomed by the Indians – facts that do not conform to the preconception that Christianity is equated to destructiveness.

Have we become too worldly?
Nowadays it's not unusual for athiest to adopt children or even be parents themselfs. As recently as the 1970s we made sure that children had a right to God, and banned athiest ppl from indoctrinating children from orphanges etc.

http://www.parentdish.com/tag/john%20and...

http://www.time.com/time/magazine/articl...

Should we stop down on athiest 'adoptions' more theses days?

Or is more wordly better in the long run, even if children get a bad un-Christian start?

I am so upset right now I don`t know what to do. I just moved here June 2nd. On the way home from work today, I saw a sign in a church window, for their website, and when I came home today I looked it up.

It had a section marked GLTB. I went in and read it. It was about what the Bible says about gays/lesbians, transgenders, and bisexuals - ALL LIES, of course.

At the bottom of this filth was the question, in caps = would Jesus discriminate?

I simply cannot believe this. Someone please tell me my lying eyes are wrong!

Quote# 42007

There are many books out about Witchcraft but none so cleverly packaged like the latest. Satan is up to his old tricks again and the main focus is the children of the world. The latest craze is a series of books by author J. K. Rowling, known as Harry Potter.

The scramble to get the books is not just for children. Just as many adults are amused and are absorbing the content of these books. And what is sickening, Christians, or so-called Christians, are part of the fan club. I knew nothing of Harry Potter until mail started coming in asking if it was ok for teachers in Christian schools to be reading children books about mythology and witchcraft!!!! Did you read that correctly? In Christian schools!!!!!

Are we now so far gone that the church can't tell what Witchcraft is? Preachers are not doing what they are supposed to do. They are to expose this trash and inform the flock. But they join in the festivities and will not rock the boat. Halloween is accepted in the church and many of the so-called Christians fight hard when told they should not take part. Now just as Halloween is an abomination to God, so is writing books that glorify witchcraft or any kind of mythology.

The whole purpose of these books is to desensitize readers and introduce them to the occult. What a better way to introduce tolerance and acceptance of what God calls an abomination, then in children's books? If you can get them when they are young, then you have them for life. It?s the oldest marketing scheme there is.

I read your complaint about Human embrayo. I just chuckled because you had assumed that knowledge about this descipline is complete. No sir. It is not. Today there is a proposition that shows that some evidence of DNA/ human genetics is from heaven. A proposition that is still in rudimental stages with humans. Yet AlQur'an declared, in Surah baqarah that Adam and his wife Hawa, were created in heavens.

Not the kind that we normally think of. Slavery in the OT was a volentary act by the slave if they couldn't afford living expenses. They would submit themselves to be slaves in exchange for food, shelter, etc. When their time was up they could choose to go or stay. Many stayed in gratitude to their masters.

this is why my kids aren't allowed to listen to the radio. we have a cd player in the car, and it only plays contemp christian and secular stuff that is rated "g".

when my oldest was little (probably 10 yrs ago?) there was this song with the lyrics "follow me, everything is all right..i'll be the one to tuck you in at night...if you want to leave i can guarantee, you won't find nobody else like me". I can't remember the name or artist. one day my friend asked me if i realized what this was singing about and i was like, 'no, but its a nice tune'...it was talking about infidelity. i FREAKED OUT. from then on, the radio was off (and this was before i was a comitted christian) and the cd's or tapes went on!

can't trust anything..and the dangerous thing about MUSIC Is that it ingrains in your brain. heck, i can remember jingles from 1975 for goodness sakes. i don't want my kids mindlessly singing the junk that's out there!!

(Some guy posts that he'd like to stay on earth after the rapture, to help bring people who are left behind to god, which is admirable, if a bit silly... and being the compassionate Christians they are, Rapture Ready expresses horror at the idea of trying to help other human beings...)

"You are the second person I have heard say this, and it is just as unfathomable. No offense, but are you nuts? Call me an escapist or whatever- I want out! I'd prefer not to be a martyr either...for that matter."

"You have got to be joking! If you are saved, you are going at the rapture! Why would you even contemplate having to spend another minute in this world? I don't mean to be harsh but when that moment arrives, God is not going to need your "help" bringing people to Christ."

"You've read the Left Behind Novels, and now think staying behind would be a noble thing. You're not the first person I've heard, in this case read, say this. Believe me, you do not want to be left behind."

I was an atheist but God does exist and I believe what is true. There are people who don't care about what is true and they believe what makes themselves feel good. My Viking ancestors followed that belief system.

[...]

While I was an atheist I studied evolution and the probability of life occurring by accident is so close to zero that Hinduism is more logical than Darwinian Evolution. I quit being an atheist. I began to look for proof that God exists in the same way I sought proof for Darwinism. Some Pagan religions see miracles happen in addition to the miracles we are familiar with that happen today in Christianity and miracles recorded in The Bible. I saw that miracles do occur thus there IS a spiritual realm and I looked into that.

I have studied MANY different religions; even practiced some. Christianity has logical proof {Krishna turns 1000 women into sacred cows doesn't seem logical} Historical proof, and archaeological proof. That's why I am a Christian.

Yes, it is amazing. But I counter it when I can. A year and a half ago, when I was at my former job, I had a coworker ask me if I believe in ghosts. I said "No, but I do believe in demons." I think it freaked her out (she's a nonbeliever). I think that was that last question that she ever asked me that touched on my beliefs. We had talked about other things before, so she knows where I stand with my faith and my thoughts on morals (completely 180 degrees from where she stands). But I think that day she thought of me as a nut job. A right wing religious nut job!

In the same manner as when the National Center for Selling Evolution (NCSE) talks about the theory of evolution they mean that God is a superstitious fantasy and living things are really all just purposeless bags of chemicals - assembled by cosmic accident.

I hope that clears things up for you.

When I really re-committed to Jesus a number of years ago, no more listening to Country-Western music. And, we weren't listening to the newer artists. I'm talking about Ronny Milsap, Johnny Rodriquez, Alabama, and other of the older artists. Several years ago, I took ALL our C-W LPs out of the house and burned them. Just felt like I couldn't have them in the house because of the lyrics about getting drunk, or cheating, etc. Now, it's strictly Contemporary Christian or Southern Gospel, no Christian rock allowed! You are so right in how the lyrics can affect you and your thinking. I've always been very sensitive to music and how it moves my heart.
