Violence broke out Sunday in Anderson when an 18-year-old man returned home from a gay pride parade and was assaulted by his father.

According to the Anderson County Sheriff's Office, the battering took place about 1 p.m. Sunday on P Street.

During the assault, the teen's 49-year-old father yelled, cursed, swung a baseball bat, prayed and tried to “cast the demon of homosexuality out of him,” according to the teen's version of events to Deputy S.C. Weymouth, the incident report states.

About 2 p.m. Wednesday, the teen said his father punched him when he returned to the house for clothes that he left on Sunday, the report states.

The teen told deputies that his father “has a problem with him being gay and that is why he hit him with the baseball bat Sunday,” Weymouth said in his report.

Why are Atheists So Stupid ?

Of course it's because they don't understand the bible,(nor do they want to), but they will never admit to it. Before you think I am being too hard on them and should show Christian love toward them let's see what God Himself says about them.

Psalms 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, "There is no God." Corrupt are they and have done abominable iniquity: There is none that doeth good.

Now we will see how Satan substituted the filthy pigsty goddess Circe or Cybele for the King of Kings. Around 325 A.D. a new "jesus' began to appear with long hair and effeminate features.

At the time of Pope Constantine, a new effeminate "jesus" began to appear with long hair.

This was not the Jesus of the Bible who defeated Satan and ALL the hosts of hell.

The REAL Jesus of the Bible did not have long hair. St. Paul said that it was a SHAME for a man to have long hair:

"Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?" (I Cor. 11:14).

St. John, in the book of Revelation, describes a destroying army of the demons of hell and they ALL have LONG hair:

"And they (demons) had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions" (Rev. 9:8).

Satan, through his Circe of Rome, seeks to turn all men into PIGS!!

Quote# 43185

The quickest way to win an argument with an evolutionist is to get them to admit they come from the animal kingdom according to their beliefs -- and that's what it is, a belief --. And they will admit that, they have no shame about saying: "Yeah, I believe I come from the animal kingdom."
Well, when you get them to admit that you can then say: "Okay, as a creationist I can no longer take you seriously. And even as an evolutionist I wouldn't be able to take you seriously cause well, I don't take animals seriously when they have anything to say. And, well, since you believe you're from the animal kingdom, I have no reason to take you seriously. You can try and rationalize that all you want, and say "Well, I'm an modified monkey" or "I'm an evolved animal, with intelligence", well, that's your own oppinion, which is the oppinion of a modified animal. So, I can't take you seriously."
Conversation's over.

They need to line all you queers up, and gun you down like the social trash you are. I only wish his Father had two ball bats. I also know, this comment won't be up for long because we now live in the United States of the Offended. You stupid liberal socialists better recognize where you are, which is the buckle of the bible belt. His Father did the right thing. His son's nothing but a little pervert, sexual deviant, given over to a reprobate mind.

Frank R. Eggers, you pretty familiar with the passage. but the difference between Christian and false teacher is precisely based on his methodology of studying the Bible. Christian is the one who uses exegesis. And you guys are the ones who rape the Bible in whatever way you want.

When you read newspaper about some local events, do you allegorize, and pick and choose what you like there? Do you allegorize temperature forecast? Why then do you false teachers twist the Bible, when it is PLAIN, and every honest scholar who knows original language will tell you that you're lier?

There is no 'context' or any cultural situation found in the Bible to support your 'queer theology'. It's simply not there. You can wishfully suppress the evidence and create your own pity lies, but this will not change the fact of history. Homosexual Christian is about as possible as square circle. This is so disgraceful, I can not believe people have guts to twist Bible so bad...

Quote# 43223

I strongly recommend a book called "Created to be His Help Meet" by Debi Pearl. People either love it or hate it, I think.
One thing I will say, if you come home from church and dh has no lunch for you - don't act mad. Don't say a word. Prepare the night before something that can be heated up quick or a cold lunch. But getting mad at him will not help win him to Christ. Let him be. He's your husband and you need to have respect for him.
I have had a hard time finding respect for my dh sometimes. But when I follow God's way - respect what He set up for us in His word - Ephesians 5:22-24 "Wives submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as the Lord is the head of the church, His body, of which He is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also should wives submit to their husbands in everything."
Now, I know that's not always easy! It takes a lot of prayer and not getting your way when you want it and a lot of giving your frustrations to the Lord and asking Him to help you thru, but the rewards are incalculable. You feel peace inside for obeying the Lord and your family will be so much better served.

Talking About Mythology

1. My God isn't mythical. So much for that. Thor is a movie coming out that came from the Marvel comic that got it from the mythological kingdom of Assgard. Odin would be sore displeased at you for not knowing that.

2. Lucy. You mean that ape bone they found in Africa and claimed she was Eve? Come on, if you want to say an ape is your grandma I have no problem with that. It just further proves your stupidity.

Look you dumb cluck, you didn't think I would start a game and not bring the ball did you?

I dont know any science or anything and even i know evolution isnt real. for one it isnt in the bible the bible said god made everything in 6 days, not millions of years. second, when we go to the zoo we cant talk to monkies, if we used to be monkies why cant we talk to them? three, how could a monkey become a person over billions of years when they dont live that long? AND why are there still monkies if they turned into people? five, even darwin said he was wrong. on his death bed he converted to christianity and said evolution was a hoax. If there is any science that makes it look like evolution is real then it has to be either a hoax by EVILutionists or put there by god to find out who believes in him.

I hope that after reading my questions you will see that evolution cant be true and people dont come from monkies. i will pray to god asking him to make you think like me.

It is very unfortunate that Israel, the apple of God’s eye, has become a secular state. Anyone promoting evolution during biblical times would have been stoned outside the gate.

Fortunately, The Quest for Right has come to the rescue. The 7-book series on origins is based on physical science, the old science of cause and effect. Nothing will be the same after this.

No He did not want to trick us because God is not an author of confusion. My point IS that He knew exactly why He made us the way He did and like the other one here pointed out (think it was Grant, could be wrong though) was that it would be strange anyway if God made people without stomachs, legs, or other functions like that, because they work just the way they are, and it would be unnecessary to create a human without these or to add more things than what already exists on us (like wings or eyesight as good as an eagle's). Such examples earlier however of useless body parts such as the former "tail" or a spleen have been proven to have useful functions, even if some of them are not vital.

[From a discussion about God punishing people who do not accept the Gospel and how fair that is to the people who never even got a chance to hear the Gospel]

I've never personally known or heard of anyone dying w/o hearing the Gospel. God has given me and other dear friends opportunities to witness to many elderly people (80's and near 100's) who have said, "Thank you, I've never heard that before!" God was gracious, patient and merciful to keep them alive until they heard the Gospel.

Some have said, "Um, okay, no one's ever told me that before and I've been fine so far, so..."

I don't think any of us can say that we have absolute knowledge that anyone who has died and gone to Hell never had the opportunity to hear the Gospel.

Quote# 43086

The smallest living cell on earth has a DNA string of some 1 million pairs of DNA and has 600 genes. [...] The chances of such an arangement of DNA arising by sheer chance are 4 to the 250'000th power, and that's generous. [...]
The problem though is even worse than that. Not only do you need two strings of DNA perfectly matched to have life, but you also need a cell so the DNA code can get the material to sustain that life. It's therefore a chicken-and-egg problem. [...]
Add to this problem that for the first life to have been the progenator of all life on earth, it necessarily needs to have been pretty much the same as all life now on earth, otherwise it couldn't have been the source of all life we now know.
What this means is this: the first life on earth had to require oxygen in order for them to be the ancestors of oxygen-requiring life, that's common sense. [...]

"Let me summarize for you. Slavery as written in the Bible is completely moral and fine.

The slavery that Britain and America did was not that written in the Bible, hence was not moral and fine."

Quote# 43087

[On Abiogenesis]
Evolutionists admit that the chances of evolutionary progress are extremely low, or at least unobserved. Yet, given enough time, the apparently impossible becomes possible.
If I flip a coin, I have a 50-50 chance of getting heads. To get heads 5 times in a row is unlikely, but possible, if I flipped it long enough. If I flip it for years non-stop I might even get 50 or 100 in a row. But this is because getting heads is inherently possible.
However, the chances of me flipping the coin and seeing it sprout arms and legs or go sit in a corner and read a magazine are very very impossible. So, giving billions of years doesn't make the impossible possible.

A woman whose work computer was used to email a death threat to University of Minnesota - Morris professor P.Z. Myers has been fired.

Melanie Kroll says someone else -- likely her husband, Charles -- must have used her computer to send a note of anger over the atheist biology professor's belief that a Catholic communion host is just "a cracker" and his plans to treat any wafers he receives "with profound disrespect and heinous cracker abuse." The email read, in part: "You have two choices my fucked up friend, first you can quit your job for the good of the children. Or you can get your brains beat in."

Myers' stated policy is to publish all identifying information from mailed-in death threats; he did, and readers tracked down Kroll's ID. The less-than-flowery missive came from Kroll's work computer -- at 1800Flowers.com.

[Update: Charles Kroll confesses to emailing the threat to Myers.]

The time it takes for star light to reach the earth, should not be used to gauge when the star was formed, or how old the earth is, or any other time measure.
