Remember that Florida "church" with the plan to torch a pile of Korans in commemoration of 9/11? Turns out there's one thing they weren't counting on: a local Fire Department that's stingy with outdoor fire permits.

According to the Gainesville Sun, fire chief Gene Prince told the church "that under the city's fire prevention ordinance, an open burning of books is not allowed." Turns out town code 10-63, a "General prohibition on outdoor burning and open burning," specifically outlaws the burning of (section 6) "Newspaper" and (7) "Corrugated cardboard, container board, office paper."

Apparently, bound copies of Islam's holy text fall into those categories. But you didn't really think the Dove World Outreach Center was going to let a pesky fire chief stop its planned tribute to the men and women who died in the terror attacks, did you? The Sun reports that in an email message sent out by the church Wednesday, Dove World proclaims, "City of Gainesville denies burn permit -- BUT WE WILL STILL BURN KORANS."

Prince says that if the church makes good on its promise, it cold be hit with a fine.

I dislike and have little patience for atheists specifically because it was conceived as a money-making enterprise, and created by a racist, hack "scientist". And if there are folks dumb enough to buy into the scam, and they're happy without the protection of G-D - more power to 'em. But when they spout off on subjects they knows nothing about - the love of G-D, or encouraging people who need prayer (to treat their illnesses) to stop saying them - then it's probably time for a reality check. Science isn't truth.
It's an evil scam.

Doctor Who has been criticised by Christian groups for insinuating that the Time Lord is a second Messiah.

The special Christmas Day episode of the show, which features Kylie Minogue, was accused of subverting religious iconography.

In 'Voyage of the Damned' The Doctor, played by David Tennant, saves a ship from a meteorite storm and persuades the passengers of his magical powers.

Writer Russell T Davies defended the use of the imagery in the episode, saying: "The series lends itself to religious iconography because the Doctor is a proper saviour. He saves the world through the power of his mind and passion."

But group Christian Voice insisted that the Doctor is nothing like a Messiah. Director of the organisation, Stephen Green, said: "The Doctor would have to do a lot more than the usual prancing around to be a messiah. He has to save people from their sins."

[Re. a mother who murdered her two children by placing them in her car and pushing the car into a river.]

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; this all comes back to contraception.

Separate sex from procreation, make it a hobby or pass time, and try and eliminate the consequences (pregnancy). When contraception fails, no problem, get an abortion, destroy the consequences. Didn’t get an abortion, the next logical step is infanticide, or dumpster babies, cause I didn’t realize how hard it was or how much I would have to give up by not getting an abortion. Next, whats the difference between killing a newborn and a 1 year old, or 2 year old? 1 or two years. You are looking at a 7th and 10th trimester abortion in that car in her mind. If you have the right to contracept a life out of existence, then the line will be blurred from 1 month after conception, 5 months 25 months etc. It devalues all life at all ages because when contraception fails and pregnancy occurs, the user feels “robbed” of their “freedom”, and “entitled” to have what she wanted in the first place, sex without consequences, which is the mentality that contraception encourages.

People who do not know the answer to the following question, will never get it- What is the ONLY thing that is added to a human being after conception until the day they die? Answer- Time. That is why it is irrelevant from the moment of conception until natural death whether or not its form is the same. Is a 2 month old the same person as a 2 year old? Don’t they look different? Is one more developed? Does that mean its a different person or the same? How about when that 2 year old is 20? Are they the same person? Is one more worthy of life? Time changes us, our form, our appearance, our outlook, but it is still the same person whether in single cell, 5 months gestation, 2 years or 97 years old. Until people see that clearly, look for more 4 plus trimester “abortions”.

The answer to the question of how should we negotiate with those who support the gay and lesbian chamber of commerce businesses is that we should under no circumstances negotiate with them. We are dealing with people who are totally without honor, will do anything for political power, to whom lying and cheating is a way of life. Such people should not be negotiated with. Any attempt by them to negotiate should be ignored.

The terms of the boycott are simple. It will continue as long as The Gay And Lesbian Chamber Of Commerce is in effect. There is no compromise, there is absolutely nothing to negotiate. And under absolutely no circumstances should people negotiate with homosexuals over the boycott. Debating homosexuals shows acceptance of their views, gives them an opportunity to spread their poison to the public. Therefore, do not debate with them. Do not publicly argue with them. State clearly that homosexuality is a sickness, it is not a religion, it is not a race, it is not an ethnic creed. There is no point in arguing with the mentally ill. They will not listen, they will not hear. Their only goal is to promote their sickness, to make it acceptable. And if you debate with them, if you recognize them, you are helping them do that. Do not do it Do not help them. Oppose them. Stop them. Tell the world your views, but do not argue with them. It doesn't help.

[Our president is not muslim. He never was and it's not our businesss if he converts in the future. This is America. . .built on religious freedom!]

America was built on Christian Freedom.

[Jeepman...can you point me towards the sections of the Constitution that state that? Or, any other laws for that matter.]

Goalie... I made my last statement based on historical deduction. Back in 1787when the Constitution became official, the Christians of the day far out numbered the non-christians (Jews, Muslim, Hindu, Atheists, ect). From this fact, I deduced that our Founding Fathers were not concerned with non-christian religions but more so the freedom of christian denomination. My original statement is that America was BUILT on Christian Freedom clearly refers to the beliefs of our Great Founding Fathers.

[there are a lot of Christians who are either undecided on this topic or lean toward a form of evolution.... i don't consider it a salvation issue, and i'm not an evolution believer... i tend to lean away from it.]

So, can we question other things in the Bible if we can question whether God created? I'm certain He said He did create but wait, the mind of man has come up with some other reason, the mind of man that is corrupted and filled with his own imaginations. What confidence in God is there if a Christian questions the very first thing God said that He did?

Well, I like it as simple as this, God said it and so I will believe Him first and always, and when silly men think they know better I will not make them feel better by trying to appease them with, I'm undecided.

Get decided, God said He created not some evolution theory phony.

Janet Museveni, the first lady of Uganda, warned participants at a national youth convention about the promotion of homosexuality, which she said advocates undertake for the sake of money.

"In God's word, homosexuality attracts a curse, but now people are engaging in it and saying they are created that way,” said Museveni, as reported by New Vision. “It is for money. The devil is stoking fires to destroy our nation and those taking advantage are doing so because our people are poor," she said. Mrs. Museveni advised the youth not only to listen to messages on how they can make money but also focus on spiritual growth. "You know that you will lose everything else when you lose your soul.”

What to do about anti-Christian books, teachers, assignments in College?

I just got my books today and classes starts Monday. I'm going into a multimedia field and one of my classes is Computer Fundamentals of Visual Communications with the book Visual Communication. I pick it up to flip through it and on the first of second page is a big picture of Obama (and I think "here we go, the progressives are now in my life") I proceed to skim through the book and wow!!! It is one big blasphemy after another. It's like three pages of propaganda and one page of actual knowledge I would need to know, then more progressive propaganda.

How do I handle this? I know I will have to write papers on this affront to God's word, work and will, so what do I do? Pleasing the Lord is first in my thoughts and actions always, much more important than anything else. I do know that I will be expected to toe the party line like a good socialist, but I don't think I can do it. I wonder if God would want me to just not comment on the anti-God parts and do my papers on the rest or take a stand? The problem is that I think I will be kicked out pretty quick for not toeing the line. I wanted to learn web design not only for my living but to also spread the truth of the Lord and hopefully bring some to Christ through electronic means. I know I will be praying on this subject and know the Lord will direct me. I just wanted your thoughts and insights on this and what you would do. Thank you so much for your help.

From the women I have seen vote and the reasons they give for doing so, it is a shame that they ever got the right.

Very seldom do women make rational decisions based upon background or articulated position. Mostly they make their decisions the same way they choose a spouse. He's cute, he dresses nicely, he has nice hair, a nice voice, or simply he's black.

Aloha, the answer to your question is FEAR. fear that everything they learned is wrong fear that the THEORY of evolution is wrong. The funny thing is if we did evolved over millions of years wouldn't there be millions of fossils of sub spices not just one in a cave here and one in cave there.Like wouldn't we take care of our dead and place them in graveyards or tombs long before we became this last form of humanoid. TRUTH is that what they discover in a cave is probably a deformed human or ape and or the scattered bones of some bear or other predator last couple of meals and over time and with a will to prove that everything you learned and worked for is not a LIE you put two maybe three skeletal remains together and make one.SDG

Rihanna has now become the “Bad Girl” dressed in black. She is surrounded by 6 black clad men (like Jay-Z at the beginning), to represent her state of possession. She dances suggestively with a closed umbrella, which represents a phallus. The Devil has won, he has taken over Rihanna. And she is asking for more. At the end of the song, Rihanna asks her rapists to come into her again. Sick. The “ooh baby” makes it clear that we’re not talking about raindrops falling from the sky. It means she is wet and ready to welcome the Devil again inside her.

The analysis of Rihanna’s Umbrella was to prove the fact that the general public is blind to the hidden messages omnipresent in mass media. Kids from all over the world sing and dance to this song while registering unconsciously the hidden layers of symbolism.

Gee, homosexuality has only been taboo in every long lasting social culture in history, maybe that “resonates” for some strange reason?

The behavior is immoral. Like murder, kidnapping, rape. And yes there have been times and places where each one of those vices were legally practiced by free people. Ever hear of that word, “vice”, kinda rare in your neck of the woods I’d think — a helpful concept though — it means something that’s bad to do and yet can become a habit for some.

The ancient wisdom of making homosexuality taboo has many solid reasons. To be honest you’ve probably read or heard many or most of them,. But, grasshopper, the power of the dark side is very strong. It’s easy to find some perfectly “logical” reason why all of human history and moral code development is wrong and your chosen vice is just the thing for you.

Legalizing homosexuality is incredibly destructive to a society. It is suicide.

Will I eventually become an Anti-Christ or Illumaniti if I become a singer, dancer and artist?
I come from a strict religious background, but love my arts, I am a dancer, actor and choreographer. I am however torn into two, I want to develop in the world of entertainment, but my elders say I will loose my soul in the world of entertainment. You look at all the stuff that goes on in music today, or the anti-christ and illumanati symbols and signs subliminally being put in our minds by artists like Lady Gaga, Jay Z etc, what kind of artist can I be in a world where entertainers are more like soft porn stars (mainly the poor ladies) to get success. Do I have to sit on a stool and play a guitar to stay away from the madness, is it really safe to venture into this world?
