We’re pleased to announce that we’re changing our ministry name from Alliance Defense Fund to Alliance Defending Freedom. Our new name will better communicate what you already know we do . . . build alliances between Christian attorneys and like-minded organizations to accomplish what none of us can do alone: protect and defend YOUR religious freedom. Changing our name to Alliance Defending Freedom rightly reflects our enduring mission to gain justice for those whose faith has been unconstitutionally denied in the areas of religious liberty, the sanctity of life, and marriage and family.

Edward Wolfe applied for an “operations supervisor” position at a Voss Lighting store in Tulsa in early 2011, according to the EEOC.

The agency claims in the lawsuit that, during the application process, a pair of local managers made numerous inquiries -- “both subtle and overt” -- concerning Wolfe’s religious activities and beliefs.

Wolfe allegedly was asked to identify every church he has attended over the past several years, where and when he was “saved” and the circumstances that led up to it, and whether he “would have a problem” coming into work early to attend Bible study before clocking in for the day.

The lawsuit, filed Tuesday, recounts an alleged conversation in which one of the managers purportedly told Wolfe that the majority of Voss’ employees were Southern Baptist, “but that it wasn’t required that you go to a Southern Baptist church. As long as you were a ‘born-again’ Christian, it didn’t matter what church you attended.”

The EEOC claims that the same manager expressed “overt agitation and disapproval” to Wolfe’s responses to the religious line of questioning and that Wolfe was ultimately denied employment on the basis of his religious beliefs.

Steve Sanderson, vice president and general manager for the Lincoln, Neb.-based company, sent the Tulsa World a written response to the lawsuit on Wednesday which said, “Voss denies that the charging party was not hired as a consequence of his religious beliefs.

"The individual hired by Voss had more lighting product experience and was more qualified than the charging party. Voss looks forward to a judicial determination of the rights of the parties,” the statement said.

Glen Urquhart: “Do you know, where does this phrase ’separation of church and state’ come from? Anybody know?”

Audience member: “From the Devil.”

History teacher: “I do.”

Glen Urquhart (Pointing to audience member and laughing): “But I told you.”

History teacher: “No. I know. But I’m the history teacher. It was a letter.”

Glen Urquhart: “That is, actually, that exact phrase is not in Jefferson’s letter to the Danbury Baptists. He was reassuring them the federal government wouldn’t trample on their religion. The exact phrase ’separation of Church and State’ came out of Adolph Hitler’s mouth. That’s where it comes from. So the next time your liberal friends talk about the separation of Church and State, ask them why they’re Nazis.”

If there is no God—there are no Absolute Laws—Universal Truths or Natural Rights from God. We had this ideology of Universal Truths since Plato which culminated with Christianity in American jurisprudence. Higher Law than man’s and Natural Rights from God.

Atheism creates people like Voltaire’s Atheists-—the French Revolutionaries—who did some of the grossest things in history—desecrated the dead, headless bodies and arranged them in sexual positions—Atheist humor is really Satanic and evil and full of excrement and orgies.

Lenin and Stalin and Mao’s Atheism just killed tens of millions and Hitler’s occultist/homosexual paganism killed millions. Oh goody-—such superior ideology when they kick out the Judeo/Christian God.

I would only allow Atheists to be second class citizens since they do not believe we have Natural Rights from God. As such—they are extremely dangerous and deranged because they think they can take our Natural Rights away and force unjust laws which promote Vice-—like the Godless in chief in the WH.

Female writers have done so much in the last two hundred years to destroy the things that are most important to ordinary women that a case is to be made for a period of prolonged female silence similar to the days when the best women authors wrote with male pseudonyms. Personally, I object to my children being taught the fairy tale that is evolution in school.

You really expect someone to sit down with a small child and teach them as such? "Son, in the beginning there was nothing. Then nothing happened to nothing and then nothing exploded into everything. Then there was goo, and that goo oozed onto a rock, that came out of the nothing, and contracted and extraordinary complex DNA programming which was just laying around minding it's own business. After this, the goo became something less gooey because it's DNA replicated itself, but actually 'oopsed' and replicated itself perfectly, but with millions of changes, into something with a fin, and the less gooey thing liked its fin, and gritted where it's teeth would be a billion years later, and chose it's offspring to have more fin-like DNA." etc, etc, etc

And that's more reasonable than "All that you see had an origin and a designer, and that designer is the all-powerful God, who created you in His image and likeness"? No, I don't have enough blind faith to be an evolutionist in any way.

Myu toenails protect my toes. People who have wisdom teeth use them to chew. My wife likes my body hair. And what's the evolutionary explanation for the fact that humans acquire body hair at puberty? Its not a derived characteristic, since apes don't have it. Whatever the evolutionary explanation is, it will work for a theistic one.

And again, vestigal organs are not proof of evolution, but rather devolution. Something function was lost after creation.
And the fact that we don't know the purpose of some genes doesn't mena that a purpose doesn't exist. Now they'vwe found that lots of there pseudogenes really make RNA that doesn't code make proteins, but rather control various functions. And the whole arguement from vestigal is a religious one, not a scientific one. The arguement is "why would
G-d creat something that serves not purpose?" But if the rules are that no religious explanations are allowed, then religious questions shouldn't be allowed either.

Now, if a development with interdependant parts can evolve so easily, then why can't plasmodium evolve resistance to quinine, or a way around sickle cell disease? That's Behe point, supported by the empirical evidence. And how something with interdependant parts evolve anyway, when it doesn't work unless all the parts are there. I know they suggest functional intermediates, but they ahven't really explain how the intermediates could function.

Jessie....religious marriage yes is very sacred, but when you and others of homosexuality forces the traditional marriage to become equal for the same-sex couples, how do you consider marriage to be sacred then? How do you consider that to be equal when traditional marriage is not equal to same-sex marriage? How does that qualify as equal? Everyone has those same equal rights now, but you are asking for special rights and you are discriminating against those who sees this type of agenda as unnatural, unhealthy, and demoralizing .

Seperate but equal, we do not wish to be second class citizens. Tell me Jesse, who made their decision to be a transgender, homosexual, bisexual, and so on. You and the homosexuals made your own decision to become this way, we didn't force you to become one. Yes, there were circumstances that lead to this, but in all you yourself made that decision to live your life that way. So it is yourselves that have and made you feel like second class citizens, we didn't put you there; you did. So don't be blaming others for what you decided to do with your life. So why should you have those same benefits from marriage when it wasn't set up that way in the first place.

[on Russian Orthodox]

I was in Russia 11 years ago for just over three weeks, while there we visited many of their places of worship all over Russia. I saw nothing that was Christ like at any of them. There were dead people encased in glass being worshiped, there was planets and stars in some where astrology was worshiped along with dead saints that had helped the towns people, there was candle lighting and kissing icons, there was magic and praying to the dead. There was healing springs of water coming out of the ground in the midst of the church, all seemed to be mixed with Catholicism. In one we visited, the priests buried their dead in a cave that the church was built over and they believed that it was so sacred that even the dust as you walked in the cave would clean and preserve your shoes for years, only the vary rich could be buried there and it showed, the priests eat on solid gold plates. In one only the preist could go in so all you could do was point to which icons you wanted him to kiss for you, then he would go in and do it for you as only he could, you stood out side with a lit candle. Most of the icons were of Marry with lots of silver around her. Like I said, there wasn't much Christ likeness there.

Breaking ungodly soul ties

2 more reasons for a curse to come upon you:

A. Objects in homes (Deuteronomy 7: 26) We are to have no abominable thing in our home. Years ago I was given a beautiful neck lace and it had a nice stone with it. Well I went to go get it cleaned and the jeweler who I knew was a Christian said Tim you have got to see this, well he showed me the nice stone under a magnifying glass and it was a Buddha temple inside the stone. Well we destroyed both the necklace and the stone because any thing connected to Buddha which is a false god a Christian should have nothing to do with.

Then also years ago a woman came to me and said my children suffer from sever nightmares but my husband and I don’t know why. Well I knew this couple were Christians and they stood against Disney so I could think of what would cause their children to have night mares. So I went over to their house and some one gave this little child of theirs Pokémon cards, so I explained to them that Pokémon means monster in your pocket so I asked the little one do you want your night mares to go away well he said yes so I said can we burn all these cards and he said yes so we did and that little boy no longer had nightmares. See Satan will not knock on your door asking to come in, he will find a way to destroy you and your family if he can.

B. Soul ties these are soul ties which are contrary to God's purposes, In adultery, fornication (especially past sexual relationships). Ungodly soul ties can bring spiritual sickness. I tell people any thing related to that past ungodly soul tie relationship needs to be desrtroyed, stuffed animals, jewelery, clothes, etc: anything that causes you to look back like lots wife did before she became a pillar of salt because she looked back at Sodom and Gomorrah before God destroyed it.

Curses

Several people have e-mailed me wondering how to break curses! What I have discovered is so many people either don’t know their under a curse or their putting curses on themselves and wonder why things don’t work out. But before I dive in to this I want to explain there are 3 types of curses,

A. Self-imposed curse, this is a curse you speak out like it points out in Proverbs 18:21 there is life and death in the power of the tongue. Examples are; I never win, I cant find a job, I am fat, I am worthless, I will never find true love, I am under a curse, I will always be a drug addict or I will always be addicted to sex, God cant love me, my life is meaningless, I should have never been born, I am just stupid or dumb.
Sad to say there are thousands of Christians that think or talk this way. Very few people realize that your actions will follow what you believe.

B. Generational curses; these are curses that came upon you before you were even born. If you’re grand parent or parent was in to witch craft, K.K.Kor any other type of racial hatred, Masons, black magic, believed in charms, committed Necromancy, Necrophilia, or Necromancer, or was involved in Debauchery, or Sadomasochism, sorcery, or got involved in Hypnosis, or even Astrology, most likely you became under a curse.

[...]

Now the 3rd curse I want to point out is curses that people have spoken over you or your parents have spoken over you.

C. Word curses. So many people don’t realize that when you call your child a klutz, stupid, lazy, worthless, accident prone, dumb, fat, stupid, retarded, a waste, a drunk, pot head, good for nothing, etc.: You are speaking death over your own child.

A member of the Louisiana House of Representatives who eagerly supported Gov. Bobby Jindal’s plan to fund private schools has had an epiphany: Muslim schools might start getting taxpayer money!

Rep. Valarie Hodges, a Republican who represents East Baton Rouge and Livingston, now says she wishes she hadn’t voted for the Jindal voucher bill.

“I actually support funding for teaching the fundamentals of America’s Founding Fathers’ religion, which is Christianity, in public schools or private schools,” Hodges told the Livingston Parish News.

“I liked the idea of giving parents the option of sending their children to a public school or a Christian school,” Hodges added.

The newspaper reported that she “mistakenly assumed that ‘religious’ meant ‘Christian.’”

“Unfortunately it will not be limited to the Founders’ religion,” Hodges told the News. “We need to insure that it does not open the door to fund radical Islam schools. There are a thousand Muslim schools that have sprung up recently. I do not support using public funds for teaching Islam anywhere here in Louisiana.”

Quote# 88254

It was a chilly Saturday morning, and Beth was making her way toward the Tundra, the largest open field on her college campus. In fact, nearly all 10000 students were heading there. You see, the first large snowfall of the year had taken place overnight, and today would be the annual Snowball Fight of the Year, or SFY. People scrambled to their "sides", upperclassmen on the left and underclassmen on the right. Beth hurried to her side, finding the excitement in the air infectious. Once everyone was in place, a senior yells: "ONE, TWO, THREE, CHARGE!" At once people grab snowballs and begin lobbing them at each other. Beth laughs, lobbing one across the Tundra.

But her snowball misses its target.

In fact, her target is missing all together.

Beth stands completely still, frozen in shock, staring and the pile of clothes, boots, and gloves sitting on the ground in front of her. She even notices his glasses on the top of the pile. She snaps out of her reverie and looks around her. There were now hundreds if not thousands of little piles of clothes dotting the frozen Tundra. People were screaming, raging and crying. Beth noticed her friend Sarah sobbing uncontrollably, clutching the empty shirt of her fiancee in desperation.

Beth begins to walk in what feels like slow motion, eyes glazed over, in no particular direction. She is still in shock.

She snaps out of it when she notices people jumping into a nearby lake, screaming in rage and hysteria. At first she thinks they are looking for the missing, but soon enough she realizes they are committing suicide, unable to deal with the pain and panic they feel.

Beth turns away, unable to watch any longer. It is then the tears begin to fall, freezing to her face, her breath coming out in short gasps as she sinks to the ground. What is going on? Oh my God WHAT IS GOING ON?! Her analytical mind races, searching for some solution, but it comes up empty.

A girl collapses next to Beth, her body shaking with sobs. Beth recognizes her as one of those "churchy" girls; she hung out with all of those "bible kids", went on there little retreats and went to church on Sundays. Her name is Cassie.

Cassie turns to Beth, her eyes glistening and her chin trembling. "I know what happened."

Beth furrows her brow. "What are you talking about?"

"I know what happened just now, why those people disappeared."

Beth stares in shock, not noticing her jaw drop. "You do? How?"

Cassie drops her eyes, staring at the ground. "My friends told me about it, over and over. I pretended to agree with them, playing my part, being in the club."

"About WHAT?" Beth says, her voice rising.

Cassie pauses and looks into Beth's eyes.

"About the Rapture."

Quote# 88252

The search for the "god particle" has been important because, if ever discovered, it is supposed to be able to account for the beginning of the universe (i.e., matter from non-matter) without outside intervention (i.e., a Creator, or aliens). This is extremely important to humanistic, atheistic evolution--the ability to explain everything without the need for God.

I heard this reported twice on FOX news today by two different reporters, and both reported it had been found. This was interesting to me, because I'd already seen articles and headlines saying they had almost discovered it, or were really close to discovering it, or had discovered evidence of it. One said they had discovered the shadow and the footprint of it.

This is the way evolutionists have always operated. Claim more than they really have, and only those who listen or read carefully really get what they are saying. Or make a rash claim initially, then later when it is proven to not be what they claimed, make a quiet disclaimer. Meanwhile, the initial claim is the impression that sticks in everybody's head. Many never hear the disclaimer. And many others continue to repeat the initial claim after the disclaimer has come out, not having researched enough to know there even was a disclaimer.

Before finding The Lord, I was a New-Ager (hence my name as I would go into a trance-like state) and your poster-person for Extreme Liberalism. I believed that poverty was caused by the rich and that 2% of the population was hoarding 99% of the wealth, and that they should be required to 'share the wealth'.

It didn't matter what pagen gods I paid homage to, I was a 'good person' and that alone would save me from sin. I believed there were many different roads to Heaven and it didn't matter which one you took... after all, I believed (incorrectly) that all roads went to the same place, and that the journey was more important that the destination

I was a very vocal advocate for liberal-welfare causes, and didn't really care whos toes I stepped on,as long as my voice was heard.

But when you get down to it, I was selfish. I was all 'me me me... everything is about me' and did not see the larger picture. One of my girl-friends was a Christian and she worked on my every chance she got, almost to the point I was saying 'Shut up, I don't want to hear it'. One day she came to pick me up and I asked where we were going, and she just kept saying 'It's a surprise'.

Well the 'surprise' was her church was having a revival and I was angry and thought she mislead me, because the last place I ever want to step foot, was inside a church. But she encouraged me to just 'check it out, before I write it off'.

Well they had the 'call' during the last part and I heard a voice say 'Get up'. Of course I thought it was just my mind playing tricks on me until I heard it say 'Get up... NOW'. I literally felt a force pick me up by the arm and drag me to the Pastor and right then and there I fell to me knees and acceped Jesus and promised Him from that point on, to study His Word and only His Word

[re: Biblical scientific foreknowledge]

[T]he Bible describes how Pilate, who crucified many, was surprised at how quickly Jesus passed away. 2000 years later, scientific knowledge has advanced to understand that this was caused by his prior loss of blood during his scourging (being brutally whipped), a punishment typically given instead of crucifixion.

["In this case, the Bible shows no scientific foreknowledge. By noting that Jesus died more quickly than people usually did from crucifixion, Pontius Pilate is saying what happened."]

The Bible is providing valuable scientific data here. Sometimes a Nobel Prize is given based on the observation of data, even though the data are not yet well understood by the recipients of the Prize. If observing data can be enough for a Nobel Prize, then why can't it be enough for the Bible?

[...]

You keep referring to Pontius Pilate but it was the Bible and its authors who observed and published the data. Too bad many scientists didn't study the Bible with an open mind. If they had, then a greater scientific understanding would have been achieved earlier.

For me, it is very clear. Women have our own culture, which has been nearly erased by patriarchy, men, (and yes, with the collusion of some women, who, as Sonia Johnson says have “terror-bonded” with their oppressor) as has been said here. We are our own sovereign biophilic beings. Our essence has nothing to do with men/maleness, which is on the decline–from 1000 genes on the y chromosome to somewhere near 45. Since we have experienced near erasure in too many ways to count for at least the last 5000 years, I see it is imperative and absolutely necessary to have as much truly women-only space as possible to re-memeber, to re-claim, to re-joice, to re-juvenate so that we may re-trieve and be re-stored–like re-storing a battery with its charge. “Transwomen” still carry that depleted y chromosome. They are not women. Anywhere they take up space–and it seems to me the nature of the y, as it has become, is to take–they want to own. The essence of woman is entirely different. I just completed a retreat in Ashland OR on “Uncovering the Biophilic Autonomy of Women” for women only. At one point in the retreat, a huge V appeared in the sky directly over us–chem trails, perhaps, but it was still a synchronous validation of our work in women only space and phenomenal to see.
