There are moral absolutes and your job is to prepare kids for a lifetime of people telling them there arent. The years of junior and senior high school are incredibly important for a developing worldview. You can also love people despite opposing a sinful lifestyle, regardless of if its open homosexuality or anything else. I was part of a GSA in high school, and had mutually beneficial dialogue. Sorry, you quoted the article that you linked so I assumed you were the author. I am very passionate about Christian leadership that is in error. Clearly not much of what I said really applies to you. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
I agree that there is a huge problem with Christians unable to love people "in sin." Parents that cut off ties with children because of lifestyle is horrific. Jesus is very likely ashamed of a lot of Christian action.
That being said, understanding that spiritual death is worse than physical death is important to grasp the Christian perspective. There is no difference between a life lived apart from Christ for 90 years or for 10 years, since both are spiritually dead for eternity. Many Christians use a corrupted view of this to alienate the living, instead of sharing the love of Christ in hopes that they will be changed by God.

And as you just read, founding father Thomas Jefferson wrote a law to have homosexuals castrated (their testicles chopped off!!!), but the higher court insisted on keeping the DEATH PENALTY. Were our nation's founding father's wrong? I'm so sick of hearing Bible colleges praise the wisdom of our founding fathers, but then hypocritically abandon and disassociate themselves from them concerning the crime of homosexuality. The more independent men are, then smaller the government. The more 'independent' women are, the bigger the government. Women have NOT achieved any of this on their own. It took global elites to change and establish laws in society backed by military / police force and a court system to ensure women are given special rights. Women seem to think they did this all on their own and are truly "beating men" in life as if that's how it should have been all along.

In a nutshell, the story of Adam and Even has more truth than most realize. The "Eve's" of today are willingly believing the social engineering lies fed to them through mainstream media, and then taking the apple essentially selling mankind out to the overall end game goal of global enslavement.

Women have not achieved anything. If I were a global elite, I could finance politicians to establish laws that would allow for dogs to have special rights in society beyond man. Could the dogs achieve this on their own? Of course not. To collect welfare and have mankind pay for a single mom's kids is theft no different than stealing a car. When that single mom is standing before God one day at the day of judgement, she'll be told go stand next to the rest of the thieves. She won't understand why until she finally realizes that by accepting welfare money that she has participated in theft and she is no better than any thief that robbed a liquor store.

So, let us suppose that causing someone to love me is not obviously causing them to have a worse life. If this is the case, what harm has been done in giving her a love potion without her informed consent? I'm especially interested in an answer that is consistent with the instrumental presumption: we do not deliberate over our final ends. Can an instrumentalist nonetheless claim that it is wrong to sneak someone a love potion? On what grounds?

If students search your name and come upon your blog, they will be exposed to your endorsement and promotion of ideas that some parents may find deeply troubling. If students have you as their teacher, like you, and develop a relationship with you - as happens often in high school - they will be more likely to look favorably on and be influenced by your ideas than those students who have little or no personal connection to you. This is the reason that many parents care deeply about role models.

It's the reason there were some recent stories about parents being upset that a high school cheerleading coach posed in her private life for Playboy magazine, and why some parents would not want their children in the class of a teacher who in their free time on a public forum promotes racist views or denies the historicity of the Holocaust.

It has been at least as long as the turn of the nearest greater star system since the guard changed gender and mankind fell under absolute 'bitch rule'. Many changes in groups of MEN ruling, but not recently have we seen a landslide of women grabbing clubs and wagering for a mad power grab. Of record, acient Egypt was the last to fall under severe bitch rule with the priestess judges. An era of bitch rule in a technological age could last longer than a lifetime before it is exhausted and collapses.

Gender cuts across all lines - racial, religious, political, cultural - it is a vector that divides every other category. Every pie graph with which you can categorize humans into separate groups is skewered through the middle like a shishkabob when you factor in gender.

Under 'bitch rule', women donning the robes of power and seizing the 'guard' is the final stage of arrested development for humanity. I've personally experienced and seen women in action hundreds if not thousands of times. Should they be allowed to rule? I will testify HELL NO.

Picture if you will the laughable Darwinian cartoon depicting the drawings of the chimpanzee gradually becoming upright and finally there stands a European man in a suit with briefcase. (and it is undoubtably a cartoon that must have spawned such theory). Then imagine reversing the diagram. Begin with a picture of a patriarchal family, tribe or klan, and devolve it to its most failed state of dysfunction. The picture of the rock bottom gutter for humanity would be a picture of a large burly muscular female holding a whip over a castrated male.

No system of culture or law can survive and remain consistent with the right brain deciding all matters on a whim and a monthly bout of complete psychosis. Our civilizations would never get off the ground. Rome would have been like an etch a sketch tablet. Its foundations shaken and erased monthly. Rome would have NEVER BEEN in other words. No civilization could ever arise until man dominated woman. No matter how much trading the baton from one monthly bedridden damsel to another fresh femme runner, the overriding downward flush would quickly sweep humans under the rug.

This goes for all races - We must all get back control of our women or else we are all looking at entering a long dark age of animal like baby eating barbarism.

Answer: In the shifting winds of modern cultures, the idea of everlasting torment and damnation is difficult for many people to grasp. Why is this? The Bible makes it clear that hell is a literal place. Christ spoke more about hell than He did of heaven. Not only Satan and his minions will be punished there, everyone who rejects Jesus Christ will spend eternity right along with them. A desire to reject or revise the doctrine of hell will not mitigate its flames or make the place go away. Still, the idea of eternal damnation is spurned by many, and here are some reasons for it:

The influence of contemporary thought. In this postmodern era, many go to great lengths to assure no one is offended, and the biblical doctrine of hell is considered offensive. It is too harsh, too old-fashioned, too insensitive. The wisdom of this world is focused on this life, with no thought of the life to come.

Fear. Never-ending, conscious punishment devoid of any hope is indeed a frightening prospect. Many people would rather ignore the source of fear than face it and deal with it biblically. The fact is, hell should be frightening, considering it is the place of judgment originally created for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41).

A flawed view of God’s love. Many who reject the idea of eternal damnation do so because they find it difficult to believe that a loving God could banish people to a place as horrific as hell for all eternity. However, God’s love does not negate His justice, His righteousness, or His holiness. Neither does His justice negate His love. In fact, God’s love has provided the way to escape His wrath: the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross (John 3:16-18).

A downplaying of sin. Some find it shockingly unfair that the recompense for a mere lifetime of sinning should be an eternal punishment. Others reject the idea of hell because, in their minds, sin isn’t all that bad. Certainly not bad enough to warrant eternal torture. Of course, it is usually our own sin that we downplay; other people might deserve hell—murderers and the like. This attitude reveals a misunderstanding of the universally heinous nature of sin. The problem is an insistence on our own basic goodness, which precludes thoughts of a fiery judgment and denies the truth of Romans 3:10 (“There is no one righteous, not even one”). The egregiousness of iniquity compelled Christ to the cross. God hated sin to death.

Aberrant theories. Another reason people reject the concept of eternal damnation is that they have been taught alternative theories. One such theory is universalism, which says that everyone will eventually make it to heaven. Another theory is annihilationism, in which the existence of hell is acknowledged, but its eternal nature is denied. Annihilationists believe that those who end up in hell will eventually die and cease to exist (i.e., they will be annihilated). This theory simply makes hell a temporary punishment. Both these theories are presented as viable options to the biblical teaching on hell; however, both make the mistake of placing human opinion over divine revelation.

Incomplete teaching. Many contemporary pastors who do believe in the doctrine of hell consider it simply too delicate a subject to preach on. This further contributes to the modern denial of hell. Congregants in churches where hell is not preached are ignorant of what the Bible says on the subject and are prime candidates for deception on the issue. A pastor’s responsibility is “to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints” (Jude 1:3), not pick and choose what parts of the Bible to leave out.

Satan’s ploys. Satan’s first lie was a denial of judgment. In the Garden of Eden, the serpent told Eve, “You will not surely die” (Genesis 3:4). It is still one of Satan’s main tactics. “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers” (2 Corinthians 4:4), and the blindness he produces includes a denial of God’s holy decrees. Convince the unsaved that there is no judgment, and they can “eat, drink and be merry” with no care for the future.

If we understand the nature of our Creator, we should have no difficulty understanding the concept of hell. “[God] is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He” (Deuteronomy 32:4, emphasis added). His desire is that no one perish but that all come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

To contradict the Bible’s teaching on hell is to say, essentially, “If I were God, I would not make hell like that.” The problem with such a mindset is its inherent pride—it smugly suggests that we can improve on God’s plan. However, we are not wiser than God; we are not more loving or more just. Rejecting or revising the biblical doctrine of hell carries a sad irony, which one writer put this way: “The only result of attempts, however well meaning, to air-condition hell is to assure that more and more people wind up there.”
