Quote# 112657

The reality is that both God and Satan use the same methods on us, and the sooner we’re honest about this the sooner we can progress in the faith. To pretend that God doesn’t toy with us by making forbidden fruits look appealing and by lacing springs of water with poison will only lead to disillusionment and hypocrisy. God’s methods are at times so similar to Satan’s that it’s impossible to tell them apart.

[On "Pickup Artist" Roosh V]

He’s an undercover Muslim. Clearly, because he wants to make rape legal. I thought about it and wondered how this man could say such a thing. I wondered how insane is this that he would propose such a thing? Think. Western people believe that to be an insanity that muslim women are convicted or beaten or killed and blamed for being raped. This ‘insanity’ would only make sense if rape was legal!!! This is the ONLY reason why women can be blamed or stoned or convicted if they are raped by a man or even a group of savages raping her at a time! Roosh’s law for legal rape is: if you enter on private property, you are at fault if you’re raped. This limits and controls women’s movement and options, rather than men’s impulses towards rape. This is exactly what happens with females in Islamic countries. If females are in the wrong place, at the wrong time, or unescorted, they can be blamed if they are raped as the ‘guilty party’ making rape LEGAL!!! Women can be blamed if they are raped and some are even killed for it. I thought it was a stunning proposition until I thought it through and him proposing to make rape legal, finally caused me to understand the insane practice of females at fault rape in the Muslim world. Only looking through the eyes of Islamists, can females be not human but objects of scorn that can be raped with impunity. In a world where women aren’t people, as the the Jews were not in the holocaust under the Hitler regime, is why they were ok to kill. If you dehumanize and delegitimize people can you easily kill or rape them at leisure as animals. Roosh is likening the Jews to women because in the Moslem ‘mind set’ neither Jew nor female are considered human. This man is more dangerous than we suspect and the free international authorities should be investigating him for inciting violence and hatred -which led to Jewish genocide in WWII. Underneath profundity, is at heart a Sharia law persuasion. If we aren’t smart, we, like Britain, will wake up too late to change it.

Even Israel is having a kind of inner moral breakdown. The gays have poisoned the water in this country. Who knows what other ills are happening inside their borders. A friend who is acquainted well with Israel, told me there are many atheists over there. We are now contending with our own religious liberty and the SCOTUS have stomped their feet on peoples' freedom of religion. You should not have to give any job up because your government/private business tells you that you have to obey immoral laws that conflict with your conscience, but we are governed by many lawyers including tyrannical lawyers like obola. Lawyers are known for being unprincipled, of course, some are not like that, but now days they are in the minority.

When a sodomite confronts a county clerk for not handing out state licenses in violation of Gods Moral law and calls it bigotry, homophobia or hate, we, as Americans, need to realize that they are willfully ignorant or just plain wicked. And the wicked are those who know the truth, but choose not to obey the truth.

“And their iniquity (lawlessness) is found to be hateful.” Psalm 36:2

Those who have not wickedly departed from their God (Psalm 18:21) must deal with the wicked in righteousness, and that in accordance with written law and obedience to God.

As you exit the chambers of the Minnesota Supreme Court, which I mentioned above, a sign reminds you, “Where the law ends, tyranny begins.” Tyranny is the last thing anyone in their right mind would want. Therefore, we must all Kiss the Son (Psalm 2:12) and agree to His government to understand real freedom (John 8:36), liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17), and unity (Ephesians 4:3).

Friends, we are given the choice between war and honor. If we choose to dishonor God and His moral Law, we can be assured that we will have war. So whose side are you on? (Exodus 32:26)

If you fail to recognize the problem at hand, then know that the tyrant your forefathers warned you about will rule the day and all will be lost. We are all in this together. But I ask, whose side are you on?

Quote# 112646

I am convinced that God has left us with a way to save children who are conceived and which implant ectopically. Years ago we would have, as a society, said it was impossible to fly. Centuries ago, breech babies were a near death sentence to the mother. The problem is that as long as we believe the medical community (and why is a profession that as a whole supports abortion and opposes the Christian worldview to be trusted?) in their assertion that there’s no way to save the child in an EP, no one will look for a solution. Loving both mother and child means that we don’t do nothing, and we don’t rush into a chemical abortion that actively causes the death of the child.

Is the mother’s life in danger? In some or even many cases yes. Though we had an obstetrician tell my wife her life was in danger JUST FOR CONCEIVING A CHILD AFTER 35. So what’s the answer here? First, I don’t believe we should accept the party line. It’s not that long ago that the party line was that African Americans were not fully human. So let’s, just for the sake of the children and mothers involved question the assertion that there’s no way to save the chid. In my limited medical knowledge I can imagine a couple of ways we might find to reimplant the child in the womb, safely for both mother and child. Is it risky? Sire it is. But is the risk worth possibly saving a child’s life? My wife and I both earnestly believe it is. And historically, many currently routine life saving procedures were at one time outside the norm of medical practice and much riskier than today.

Now if one is convinced that our loving, sovereign, all wise God has not left us with any other option than killing the child, then my thoughts here are controversial. But if one believes that perhaps we should try something different because God gives new discoveries in His providence frequently, and that He surely will allow us to discover a way to save the child without harming the mother, well then there’s nothing controversial here at all. I don’t know about the “fringe” people that mom is referring to, but I’m merely advocating for a reasoned, non-reactionary dialog that at least admits God has, just maybe, not given a death sentence to all children conceived ectopically.

gun business in Apopka is drawing fire from Muslims.

Spike's Tactical is marketing an assault rifle it claims was "designed to never be used by Muslim terrorists." The AR-15 assault rifle is laser-etched on one side with a Knights Templar Long Cross – a symbol of the Christian Crusades to reclaim the Holy Land from Muslims – and Psalm 144:1 on the other side: "Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle."

The company's spokesman, former Navy SEAL Ben "Mookie" Thomas said he came up with the idea and believes no devout Muslim would touch such a weapon.

"Off the cuff I said I'd like to have a gun that if a Muslim terrorist picked it up a bolt of lightning would hit and knock him dead," Thomas said.

...The owners of Spike Tactical did not intend to insult or antagonize Muslims, Thomas said. They believe America and much of the world is threatened by Islamic terrorism and the Crusader is a symbol of shared Christian values and the right to defend themselves, he said. The safety selector that controls the Crusader's trigger has three settings: Peace, War and God Wills It.

(arguing with someone over the jailing of Kim Davis)

"Your religious freedoms don't extend to telling other people what they can or can't do."

My religious freedoms place limits on what I can do. I should not be fired or jailed for my religious freedoms, which are Constitutionally protected. It would seem you like the Constitution when it can be used to invent "rights" out of thin air, but dislike it when those rights are clearly spelled out. That seems backwards.

"Oh, WHAT are you talking about? Yes, she DID! She denied several gay and lesbian couples their RIGHT to get married. Over and over!"

Nope, she never once forced them to believe in traditional marriage.

"Why should it bother me that someone who broke the law went to jail? What else do you expect?"

Thank you for admitting to me where you would have been when Dr. MLK, Jr went to jail. :-)

It sounds as though you are against accommodating this woman's religious freedoms, which are in the Constitution, do I have you correct?

Quote# 112632

First, the vast majority of Abrahamic religious denominations in America—Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical, Jewish, Mormon, Muslim—continue to define marriage as the sacred union of one man and one woman, accounting for over 100 million Americans.

Second, though politically potent in the short term, the analogy to interracial marriage is ahistorical and illogical. All of Christendom permitted interracial marriage until eighteenth-century slaveholders devised a political lie to suppress an inconvenient truth: one man and one woman can and do unite to create interracial children, so skin color is irrelevant to marriage.

Some southerners wrapped their racist politics in the rhetoric of religion, but an even larger coalition of Catholics, Protestants, and Jews brought an end to “racial purity” laws using direct appeals to shared religious principles. In fact, the very first case striking down an anti-miscegenation statute was brought by Roman Catholics who made religious liberty arguments against the state of California. Consequently, the “religious liberty equals racism” argument cannot withstand serious scrutiny.

(on the jailing of Kim Davis)

It is simply not true that her religious freedom must be set aside if she offends or inconveniences someone. Accommodations can be made for all. What this judge has said is that a true Christian cannot hold this sort of job - which is anathema to the Constitution and the Founding Fathers intent too, I might add.

I think that, like the gay cakes and flowers and all, this is really going to backfire on gay advocates. They have always claimed to be the "tolerant" ones, but death threats and jail time do not sound very "tolerant" to me. I think that is why you are seeing, on this page, a lot of reluctance on gay advocates to celebrate this - and this to their credit. They have always claimed their movement is not heavy-handed, that is wasn't about forcing people to affirm their beliefs, which is laughable just with the florist in Washington case, and now even they are getting creeped out by this.

It's not good for gays and not good for America.

"They are beliefs. They have nothing to do with the law. "

What you keep forgetting is that the law includes religious freedoms, which are clearly based on religious beliefs. Remember the (Muslim) foot baths? :-)

"No matter how sincerely she holds them it doesn't give her the right to force them on those who DON'T follow them"

She never forced her beliefs on anyone. The gays who want to marry are free to believe in Baal if they want to.

But, speaking of force, she was forced into jail. Doesn't that creep you out the least?!? Really?!? The main gay advocate players are not on this page tonight for that very reason. They have finally been creeped out - they don't want to have to argue that there is no Gaystapo now that someone has been jailed.

"Your rant about the Gaystapo was cute, but ultimately irrelevant to the issue here."

Not at all. It shows the lengths to which you folks will go to force your beliefs on us. All in the name of "tolerance." Pity you are one of the very few to recognize this.

Quote# 112630

One angle for the casuist: When the Supreme Court issued its decree, American civil law ceased to define marriage and instead became a law of civil unions, with the word “marriage” now having no real meaning. With that sort of reasoning, I might be able to wiggle my way toward signing licenses that say “marriage” but really mean “civil union.”

Whatever we might think of the moral or legal substance of the matter, however, we cannot claim Davis has misunderstood her situation. One of her duties as county clerk now asks Davis to do what her conscience tells her she must not do. The way forward is clear: She must obey her conscience. She must act, as she puts it, “under God’s authority.” That’s exactly right.

Many modern people have the wrong impression that conscience is active, impelling us to do things contrary to the law. This is not the tenor of Davis’ stance in Morehead, Kentucky. She is not issuing counter-opinions to refute Obergefell. Nor is she campaigning to get other county clerks to join her. There have been no press releases, no assertive shrill spirit of protest on her part. That’s the progressive mentality, which tries to upgrade its political ambitions with appeals to conscience. Instead, Davis simply won’t do what her conscience tells her she cannot do. She’s not acting contrary to the law; She’s not acting at all.

Some might say that her refusal to sign marriage licenses disqualifies her from holding her position as county clerk. She should resign or be removed. People are certainly entitled to that opinion. But Davis does not think she must resign. The county clerks in Kentucky are elected, so she can’t be fired. She could be impeached, but that’s for the legislators of the State of Kentucky to decide. And the citizens of Rowan County can vote against her in the next election. Conscience, properly exercised in civil disobedience that otherwise respects the law, isn’t always easy to dislodge.

The amount of cringe, entitlement, and saltiness in the average SJW tweet personality is off-putting to women, who generally just want to have stress-free fun with no obligations with a high value man, who they feel will take care of them and is in control. No one wants to be serious or talk about serious shit at 3 am saturday night.

If a woman says she does, she is putting up an anti-slut defense plausible deniability to justify herself after her one night stand with Chad Thundercock ("Oh it just happened! We really had a connection over orphan children...yep that's why!"). But I guarantee you that same woman is not going home with a 5'5" ugly fat awkward slob, regardless if he tweets about Syrian refugees and affirmative action.

But what cannot be debated is that the national outrage against Kim Davis has nothing to do with her refusing to obey the law and everything to do with her Christian beliefs.

Had she found herself on the opposite end of the conflict and had she stood for "gay rights," refusing to obey a law that she felt discriminated against them, she would be praised from coast to coast.

Instead, she is being vilified in the ugliest terms and has quickly become the target of death threats simply because, in conscience before God, she cannot comply with the judge's order.

Yesterday I tweeted, "It's interesting that gay activists who praised SF mayor Gavin Newsom for illegally issuing marriage licenses now vilify Kim Davis."

Hector Alvarez (@eltoritolociito) responded, "@DrMichaelLBrown how is it interesting? He was for marriage equality, she was an anti gay bigot who wasnt [sic] doing her job."

Doesn't that say it all?

As Andrew (@AKUContraMundum) tweeted later in the day: "Civil disobedience is only cool when it is God's Law that's being broken." Or, as expressed by Sean Davis, writing on the federalist.com, "Kim Davis Uproar Shows That Breaking the Law Is Only Okay When Progressives Do It."

When Gavin Newsom refused to submit to the law in 2004, he was a hero. When Kim Davis refuses to submit to the law, she is a bigot and a monster. (And make no mistake about it: His actions were far more flamboyant and aggressive than hers, and whereas as she is a self-professed "very private person" who does not want the spotlight to the point of being overwhelmed and in tears because of the national attention, Newsom actively sought it out.)

Quote# 112625

I believe illegalizing abortions (at least PBA's), or severly restricting the circumstances for abortion does do much more good than it does harm.

Think about. You are a woman who just learned you were pregnant. You did not expect it, and you are confused about what to do. You want to have your baby, but you are afraid of it, you are afriad of child birth, and you are afraid about what will happen once you have this baby. Abortion becomes a widely accepted thing, and it is perfectly legal, there are people who refer to it as little more than getting a mole removed. So, these people, who are made more prevalent because there are no laws against abortion, try and convince you that getting an abortion is the right thing. They tell you that it doesn't hurt, and it gets rid of the 'thing' that is inside you... afterall, it's convenient, isn't it? So they tell you to go get 'it' removed, reiterating how much it's no big deal. So this woman, who was talked into abortion by these people, goes and gets an abortion. She is devastated and shocked at what she just did.. she didn't realize all well what she had done, until after she had done it.

Putting greater restrictions on abortion will serve to help prevent things like this from ever happening. Restrictions on abortion is the first step to stopping people who are on the fence from killing her child. However, I do know fully well that that is not the final step. It will never be the final step.

After restricting abortions, immediately, more information needs to become available to all people even thinking about abortions. Education on the matter is a must, not a left wing view, not a right wing. The facts, and only the facts. This mother does not need people telling her "Oh, it's alright to get one, it's your body, who are you to have to put up with something you don't want?" And similarly, they don't need people telling her "If you get an abortion you will go to hell. God wants this baby to be born, so that is what you'll do." They simply need to be told the facts. That your baby is, in fact, a growing living thing, and that if you go through this abortion, you will loose your child, it will be dead. They should urge them to search at all alternatives before getting an abortion, and should fully know the emotional, physical, and psychological hazards getting an abortion may have. And no, urging people to not get an abortion is not a right wing view, and I certainly hope you don't think it is. Urging people to try their hardest to preserve life, is a trait I should hope is shared by all people, regardless of their political position.

And yes, it is true about some women who tried to give themselves abortions because it was illegal. And once more, women should be educated that that is no solution at all. There will always be some stupid people who make idiotic decisions, but if we can educate these women, and tell them that there are other ways, they will think twice before trying to mutilate their child, and themselves.

Again on the self abortion thing. You see a couple horrible images of a woman lying dead because she tried to abort herself, I saw one myself, and you think "oh my god, everyone will do this if abortion is illegal." But that is not the case. Let me ask you all this: What about all the babies that are killed in an even more greusome manner, intentionally, by both a 'doctor' and the mother herself? Look at the difference in numbers. Hundreds of abortions happen every week, every DAY, but you do not hear of every single time this happens do you? No, because the life of an unborn child is valued as important by the media. However, every time a woman dies trying to self-abort, you better believe that you hear about it, be it in the local news, a paper, the net, or national news. So look at the sheer differences, let's say that every month, there are 10,000 abortions, there is 1 woman dead from a self- abort as well (and the numbers aren't even that way anyway, a self-abort happens maybe once in a long while, very rarely in the U.S.). If you can reduce that one number drastically, but slightly increase the other, isn't it worth it? Let's say you illegalize many forms of abortion, and that number drops to 4,000 abortions, to 6 self-abort deaths. Isn't the survival of 6,000 babies worth the loss of 5 ignorant, mal-educated women, who made an awful decision? The needs of the many, do outweigh the needs of the few. If you spare 5 lives, to save 6,000.. then there is no doubt in my mind it is worth it.

But at this point, I believe that the right course of action is being taken. Bush is illegalizing PBA's, not all abortions. He will never outlaw abortion all together, he never could. He is simply righting a terrible wrong commited by Clinton in the last administration.

My hubby came out of his man cave and said "GOOD!"
I asked "What was that about?"
He said "That lady got thrown in jail"
I asked "What lady?"
He said "That court clerk that wouldn't issue the marriage licenses."
I said "Ah, then you know that we stand on opposite sides of that issue, don't you?
He said "What do you mean?"
I asked "What would you do if it was ME that was the one that was thrown in jail instead of her?"
He said "What? You would do the same? She's an government official, she has to follow the law."
I said "God's law is above man's law. I would have done the same thing, Jeff. What if it were ME, instead of that woman, Jeff? What would you think then?"
Him "I don't wanna talk about it anymore"
Me: "Jeff, you're going to have to make a decision very soon, time is very short and you don't have much left if you want to make the decision before the Rapture."
Him: "I'm done talking about this stuff. Anyway, I'm going where ever you go anyway. You're good enough for the both of us."
Me "It doesn't work that way and you know it"
He walked away.

I've always been repulsed by the short legs of east Asians. Something dwarfish about it, unnatural, perverse.
The long torsos and short legs.. the way they scuff their feet when walking because they can't talk regular strides... they tend to shuffle along as if they were wearing flip flops because they can't raise their feet very high off the ground.

Also it annoys me that they are more heat tolerant than other races and tend to wear warm clothes on warm days, when everyone else is in t shirts. That's just a minor annoyance.

The slanted eyes don't bother me much. Mainly the legs. To me it's even more glaringly indicative of geographically isolated human evolution than some of the other obvious racial differences because it affects the basic frame of the skeleton.

Some of the women would look alright if it wasn't for the freakishly asexual dwarf legs. A pity.

You are far wide of the mark in your claims about Christians and the Law.

Christians (saved by Grace apart from the Law) do not keep the Law by merely not stealing. They fulfill the Law by doing the opposite, by giving and helping those in need.

Christians do not keep the Law by not killing. They fulfill it by promoting even the life of their enemy.

Christian do not keep the Law by not coveting. They fulfill it by blessing their neighbor and working for his or her well being as if it were their own.

And so on. The entire New Testament system of ethics is based on fulfilling the Law by doing the opposite of what it forbids, not just "keeping" it as the Pharisees were so good at.

Rev. 22:18 If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life....We also must stand in the gap and let our voices be heard for God. For this purpose and for every other that arises. Brothers and sisters get on your knees and faces, fast and pray and cry out to Jesus. We are headed for some very troubling and dark times and we need to have our Armor of God on and be filled with the Holy Spirit in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
