The APA has a liberal perspective and has for years been into redefining sexual deviancy as acceptable so reference to that organization is unconvincing. In the 1970's AP st about removing the diagnosis of homosexuality as a sexual perversion from its Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM). I was in some of the undergraduate classes when questionnaires were used to collect data on same gender sexual encounters. The Diagnosis has been removed as a perversion however nothing has changed about the behavior so one must ask how does this happen. Deviancy will manifest itself in responses to MMPI questions and other assessments yet there is no diagnostic category into which it can fall. That said, the behavior has not changed only that some will accept the deviant behavior as more usual. Just to be clear, behavioral pathology is behavioral pathology then fact that some chose to allow it as more usual does not change the behavior or pathology no more than stating a Civet Cat does not smell like a Skunk.

Biblical Creation Is Not a God of the Gaps

Atheists have often accused Christians of invoking God to fill in a gap in scientific knowledge. Even the great scientist Isaac Newton has been accused by atheists of using a god-of-the-gaps explanation when he said that the universe reveals evidence of design.1 But creationists like Newton do not believe in a god of gaps, but a God of absolute necessity. Newton recognized that the universe could not exist without the supernatural creative power of an almighty Creator.

Newton and most of the other founding fathers of science could see that the universe can only be fully explained with a combination of natural and supernatural explanations. Creationists only invoke God in origins when a supernatural action is necessary according to the laws of science. For example, according to the conservation of matter and energy (the first law of thermodynamics), it is impossible for a universe to come into existence without the supernatural intervention of an all-powerful being.

The Bible is scientifically correct when it states that divine supernatural power is required to create the universe (Genesis 1:1) and life (Genesis 2:7) and different kinds of creatures (Genesis 1:24). The Bible is also scientifically accurate that divine supernatural power is required to uphold all things (Colossians 1:17). Rather than being accused of superstition, the Bible should be commended for correctly identifying the areas of origins where a supernatural Creator is necessary.
Biblical Creation Is Not Anti-Science

Creationists are sometimes accused of ignoring scientific evidence and being anti-science. But belief in God in no way diminishes zeal for how life works. The great pioneer scientists of the 17th to 20th centuries were inspired by their belief in God. Likewise, modern-day scientists who are biblical creationists find their belief in a purposeful universe to be a help in their work.

Biblical creationists are always eager to learn from real scientific discoveries in every area of science. I personally have designed rockets and spacecraft for the European Space Agency and NASA using the latest scientific knowledge in physics and engineering. I have a patent on a special gearbox that was used on the world’s largest civilian spacecraft and have been awarded three national prizes for the development of technology for spacecraft.

The only “science” that creationists do not use is the speculative science of evolution that has nothing to do with useful operational science. Evolutionary ideas like “monkey-to-man charts” that supposedly chart human evolution are based on pure speculation and not useful to science and technology in any way.
Evolution Is Guilty of God-of-the-Gaps Explanations

Ironically, it is actually evolution that is blatantly guilty of god-of-the-gaps explanations. When secular biology books attempt to explain why creatures or plants have a certain design, the answer is almost always “evolution did it” or “natural selection did it” without any explanation as to how the design feature could evolve by chance.

This is what Dawkins has written about the origin of life:

We have no evidence about what the first step in making life was, but we do know the kind of step it must have been. It must have been whatever it took to get natural selection started . . . by some process as yet unknown.2

The above quote is a classic example of evolution being a god-of-the-gaps explanation. There is a total gap in what evolution can explain about the origin of life, and Dawkins invokes the god of evolution to fill in the gap and asserts that natural selection “must” have gotten started somehow. But natural selection by itself cannot create anything; it can only select from things already created.

When my daughters did a two-year advanced biology course at high school in the UK, the teachers kept saying that “evolution did this” and “natural selection did that” for the origin of features like fins and wings and hearts and lungs. Near the end of the course, one of my daughters challenged the teacher and said, “Miss, you keep saying ‘evolution did it,’ but you never actually explain how evolution did it.” The teacher had to confess that my daughter made a valid criticism, and the rest of class agreed.

Since evolution has no credible evidence, biology books use examples of adaptation as supposed examples of evolution. Darwin’s finches and resistant bacteria are held up as classic examples of evolution even though they are not evolution at all. These adaptations involve no new information, but simply a shuffling of existing genes.
Evolution Is Guilty of Being Anti-Science

Ironically, it is evolutionists, not creationists, who are guilty of ignoring scientific evidence.3 Over the last 70 years there have been many thousands of experiments with sophisticated equipment trying to create life in the laboratory from dead matter and energy.4 However, all of these experiments have clearly demonstrated that life cannot come about by chance. Evolutionists have a choice. Either they accept the laboratory experiments or ignore them and put faith in the god of evolution. They have chosen to ignore the evidence and exercise blind faith in chance.

Evolutionary philosophy holds back scientific progress by seeking false evolutionary explanations of origins. If you refuse to believe that a jumbo jet was designed, it will affect the way you investigate the complexity of the aircraft. If you believe that the aircraft evolved by chance, you will not have your mind open to possibilities of coordinated design. When the human genome was discovered to have far more information than expected, evolutionists immediately jumped to the conclusion that it was “junk” DNA because evolution predicts bad design not sophisticated design. However, subsequent work showed that the junk DNA was not junk at all, but highly coordinated information with important functions. That example shows how evolution holds back science.

A few years ago I spoke to a senior professor of microbiology at my university (who is an agnostic) and asked what he thought of the theory of abiogenesis—the theory that life can evolve from dead matter. He said the concept was a type of superstitious black magic. The biology professor had no religious bias and had been taught the dogma of evolution for decades, but he could still see that abiogenesis was not real science but so speculative that it could be called black magic.
The Missing Link: Yet Another Gap in Evolution’s Knowledge

When Darwin published his Origin of Species more than 150 years ago, one of the problems with his theory was that there was a missing link between man and apes. That missing link is still missing today despite extensive searches for fossil evidence of evolution all over the world. Fossil evidence shows that humans have always been strikingly different from apes. Humans walk on two legs, whereas apes walk on all four limbs. Humans have an arched foot, whereas apes have a flexible foot like a hand. Fossil evidence shows that no ape-like creature has ever had an arched foot for walking upright. As with every other aspect of evolution, the evolutionist ignores the gaps and encourages everyone to put their faith in the god of evolution.
Evolution Is Like a Magic Wand

I recently talked with another senior professor of microbiology at my university (another agnostic), and he made a surprisingly frank admission about evolution being a “god of the gaps.” He is not a creationist but like many biologists can see the serious weaknesses in the theory of evolution (although he keeps his views discreet for fear of losing his job). This microbiologist told me that evolution can be described as a “magic wand.” He said that he has noticed how even the experts say “evolution did this” and “natural selection did that” without any actual explanation being given and no demonstration in the laboratory. He said that the evolutionist can explain any aspect of origins by simply waving a magic wand and saying “evolution did it.”
Paying Homage to the God of Evolution

Evolution makes no useful contribution to scientific and technological advances. However, there is an unwritten rule in the modern secular biology community that after completing a scientific study (on a topic not linked to evolution), evolution is mentioned in the write-up as being the explanation for the origin of features of design. In the same way that a religious essay is finished by paying homage to a particular god, so in modern secular biology essays are finished by paying homage to evolution. I have personally worked on biology-related projects where this is exactly what has happened. The end result is that the community blindly believes that the god of evolution must be true.
A Battle of Worldviews

Biblical creation versus evolution is not “faith versus science,” but a worldview that includes God versus a worldview that has excluded God. Evolution is not a scientific theory because it has an unjustified assumption that God was not involved in origins. It is wrong for Christians to be accused of having a hidden religious agenda because biblical creation openly declares its worldview. Ironically, it is actually evolution that hides its atheistic agenda by pretending to be just science. If Isaac Newton and the other great scientists were here today, they would be astonished and saddened at the atheistic bias in modern secular science.
Giving Credit to the Creator

In modern society, a scientist is not allowed to say “God did it” for any aspect of creation, whether it is ultimate origins or the origin of any detailed design feature. The phrase “God did it” is seen as anti-scientific. But if God is the author of creation, then He deserves acknowledgement and credit for His work. And if God is the author of creation, then scientific investigation can only be helped by recognizing God as Creator.

If you refused to believe that a jumbo jet had been designed, then that would be dishonoring to the designers. How much more dishonoring it is when secular science and the secular media refuse to acknowledge that creation has a Designer. Thankfully there are many scientists today who are prepared to acknowledge the Creator despite the risk to their jobs and careers. Such scientists can have the satisfaction of knowing they stand shoulder to shoulder with the greatest scientists that ever lived such as Newton, Kepler, Pascal, Faraday, Maxwell, Kelvin, and Flemming. And by the way, the last three great scientists in this list knew of Darwin’s theory and rejected it—a fact that secular science has never publicized.

The only thing I'm personally picking up from this debacle is that now, one cannot be a devout Christian and hold a government position any longer. Because its absolute folly to think that someone who is devoutly religious is going to just drop their beliefs on a whim to do something that they find morally abhorrent and disgusting. For example, were I in an elected position as well, I would also be unable/unwilling to violate my deeply-held beliefs that marriage is strictly between one man and one woman, and would not accept or recognize any variation on that God-given sacrament.

It is rather despicable that people that hold such convictions are essentially being bullied into either resigning from public office or forsaking their beliefs...sort of reminds me of the Persecutions of Decius, in a way. You either show your commitment to the pagan gods and the government, or else you face scorn, contempt, and (back then...and possibly in the near-future) martyrdom.

Christians (including myself) generally believe that they are ordained for better in the first place, the ones that will be accepted into Heaven while the heretic, heathen, and morally bankrupt rot in a hot place.

Psalms 89:37, “It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.”

Psalms 94:11 “The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.”

Anyone who can look at the round moon and believe that it formed from two planetary objects impacting, must be really desperate to believe anything other than the Bible. The moon looks perfectly round. If an steroid or planetary object crashed into the earth billions of years ago, or if two objects collided with each other to form the earth and moon, then there wouldn't be anything left. When objects collide, they don't form rounded shapes as the earth and moon. Why is it so hard to believe that God created the universe? NASA are part of the Devil's system, denying and blaspheming the inspired Word of God.

The fact that 95% of the earth's core is composed of molten liquid rock (lava) proves National Geographic magazine NASA and all the so-called “scientists” who believe the moon/crash theory, WRONG! No wonder 1st Timothy 6:20-21 warns of “science falsely so called. Which some professing have erred concerning the faith...” Evolution is false science, no science at all. To be considered genuine science, something MUST be observable, testable and verifiable. Evolution is none of the above!!! Evolution is nothing more than non-verifiable, untestable and unresearchable THEORIES!!! Secular scientists are so arrogant, refusing to admit that they cannot explain the origins of the earth, moon and universe (which is why their theories keep changing). The Bible says the answer is God.

The Old Testament mentions the earth 760 times! Wow! And the New Testament mentions the earth 188 times! 1st Corinthians 10:26 says that the earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof. God created the universe, and then looked over what He had made, and God was pleased. We are created in God's image, which is why we also like to look over the work we have done, to see if it is good and done the way we wanted. Amen!

The moon is mentioned 52 times in the Old Testament, and 10 times in the New. The earth is God's creation and He is pleased with it. Psalms repeatedly teaches that the earth has been established FOREVER by God. We (as born-again believers) will live here upon the earth with God forever...

Psalms 78:69, “And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he hath established for ever.”

All Christ-rejecters will spend eternity in the Lake Of Fire (2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9; Revelation 20:11-15; John 3:5-7). Won't you receive Jesus as the Christ right now? I am amazed how many people readily believe in the possibility of aliens in the universe; yet they blindly reject the possibility that God is real and the Bible is genuine. By every definition, God is an alien. God is a real Being, Who has communicated with mankind. Yet heathen people search ancient Egypt for evidence that the pyramids were created by aliens. Heathen people spend their lives looking through telescopes, listening into space, sitting on the edge of their seat watching Star Trek, hoping to find proof of life elsewhere in the universe.

And yet, the holy Bible is divine in every aspect, not only astronomically improbable in the manner that it came into man's possession, but miraculously impossible! How could 40 writers who spanned 1,500 years, who spoke different languages and lived in different countries, who came from different backgrounds, write ONE BOOK that perfectly harmonizes and contains one-third prophecy!!! Life does exist elsewhere in the universe. Man's spirit is proof of a spirit world, of an unseen world of angels and demons. The Bible is the ONLY Book in existence that provides complete, detailed and plausible answers.

How awkward it is that wicked men separate themselves from a holy and righteous Book, authored by a holy and righteous God. Is religion merely a manmade device to control other men? Only a fool believes that nonsense! Our time system (BC and AD) testifies to the preeminence of Jesus Christ in history). The nation of Israel, the uncanny need to mention God (or Jesus) during climatic moments of human emotion, the need for religion and a thousand other reasons... all shout loud and clear the existence of God!!!

I'll tell you, if I didn't believe the Bible for the Bible's sake itself, I'd run to the Scriptures and believe the gospel Jesus Christ because of the preponderance of Satanism in this world. The New World Order is all about worshipping Satan and Rock music is demonic. Life is truly short and I'm so thankful that I'm on the Lord's side. Consider Job 20:4-5, “Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth, That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?”

I feel sorry for anyone who is so blinded by Satan (2nd Corinthians 4:4) that they refuse to see the glory of God (Psalm 19:1-3) and His eternal power and Godhead by all the things which are made (Romans 1:20). Note that all Scriptures are quoted only from the trustworthy and inspired King James Bible.

The claim by evolutionists, geologists and scientists that the earth and moon formed by two planetary bodies colliding billions of years ago is just REALLY BAD SCIENCE. It's not even plausible when one considers the core content of the earth. How would the collision of two space objects produce the molten core of the earth? Why doesn't the moon have a molten core? If the earth and moon formed by the catastrophic impact of two planetary objects, then did all of the planets and their associated moons form the same way? How did the sun form? Where did man's spirit come from? Why don't animals have spirits to write a poem, compose a song or worship in a religion? The only answer that makes perfect sense is God!!! Do you believe?

Science makes no logical claims that can be supported with credible evidence; yet the Bible makes logical claims, with plausible explanations to support those claims. The only evidence that scientists can present for their earth/crash theory is that moon rocks collected in the 1960's are composed of the same elements as the earth. God can do that you know!

NASA is sending up the James Webb Telescope in October of 2018, which is exciting. Here's a comparison of the old Hubble Space Telescope (HST) to the new James Webb Telescope (JWST). Lord willing, the JWST will send back incredible new pictures and data about the universe. Mankind has only begun to discover God's universe and creation. If the Lord tarries, the next 100-years will be as strange, different and revolutionary in science, medical and bizarre discoveries than the last century (and likely much more).

I took a good, long, look at the moon the other night; it was almost a full-moon; and I thanked God for such a beautiful night light that He gave to us. God is so good to us. As I viewed the perfect roundness of the moon, I thought about the absurd claim that the moon broke off from the earth by a cataclysmic asteroid crash.

I know in my heart that it is much more than just the innocent ignorance of bad science; it is the wicked unbelief of God hating men and women. Romans 1:21-22 teaches us that the wicked are ingrates, who do not glorify God in their lives, and they are fools who claim to be wise.

Proverb 1:7, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

The reprobate evolutionists, geologists, professors and NASA's scientists who write articles for National Geographic, and teach in heathen State universities all across the world, don't fear God. They haven't even found the first step to true knowledge. Romans 3:18, “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” The Word of God teaches that genuine knowledge begins with the fear of God. All true science begins with God, centers around God, and never strays off the fact that God is the omnipotent Creator of all life and the Maker of the universe in which we live. What a precious Redeemer!!!

And it's presumed the father is an asshole, but most the time he was a horny guy begged not to use a condom and told she was on the pill when she wasn't. So she gets pregnant and keeps the kid. Sometimes these guys don't even know they have a kid until they get a child support notice out of thin air. Then the poor guy gets fucking berated for being a deadbeat when all he did was fuck a woman under the presumption it was recreational sex and that no baby would be born.

If bitches are deceiving guys into fatherhood, and then crying victim when it backfires because he refuses to defer to her deceit, tough shit for her. The only victim here as far as I'm concerned is the child. She tricked the guy she fucked, tried to force him to become a parent, and when he wouldn't, tried to ruin his reputation and extract wealth. That is some fucked up shit. Kim is a person of great conviction. Government is not God. No man - and certainly no unelected lawyer - has the right to redefine the laws of nature or of nature's God. Five unelected lawyers have abused their power by ruling in favor of a national right to same-sex marriage with no legal precedent and with nothing in our Constitution to back it up. They have violated American's most fundamental right guaranteed by our Constitution - religious liberty.

As far as the Trayvon Martin situation goes, acquittal or no acquittal, the whole event and subsequent trial is a tragedy. And Skittles and iced tea or not, 17-year-old Trayvon should never have been lurking about in a hoodie between buildings on a dark rainy night in a townhouse complex. Now, regardless of how or why this boy died, a child is dead and will never have an opportunity to grow out of the typical youthful foolishness which ultimately cost him his life.
And for every hoodie-wearing thug out there who's now blaming George Zimmerman for Trayvon's death, know this: the behavior of those who give good, upstanding young black men a bad name are ultimately much more responsible for Trayvon's death than one legally-armed American citizen defending himself against an out-of-control teenage boy slamming his "crazy ass cracka" head against a concrete walk.

Instead of blaming racism for profiling a black kid strangely meandering around in the dark on a drizzly night, how about placing the blame at the feet of all the black youth, like Trayvon, whose behavior on other occasions causes suspicion to be focused in the general direction of the larger population of perfectly innocent black teenage youth?
For example, has Michelle Obama discussed who killed 15-year-old Chicago schoolgirl Hadiya Pendleton in a drive-by shooting? Of course not, because the killers were two black youths: 18-year-old Michael Ward and 20-year-old Kenneth Williams, neither of whom look anything like George Zimmerman.

FBI records show that in 2005 alone, African Americans accounted for 49% of all homicide victims in the U.S. The U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics cited data showing that 93% of murdered blacks had the crime perpetrated on them by other blacks. That means if Trayvon had continued on in the direction in which he seemed to be headed, based on the rate that young black males die at the hands of other black males, Trayvon's chances for survival were, at best, a crap shoot.

Then, the day after George Zimmerman was acquitted of second-degree murder, the President of the United States chose to stir the race-baiting pot again by intimating that America should honor Trayvon by passing gun control:

"I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son. And as we do, we should ask ourselves if we're doing all we can to widen the circle of compassion and understanding in our own communities."

Barack Obama isn't one to hide his disrespect for federalism or conceal his contempt for the legal system or the U.S. Constitution. The statement Obama made reveals that his motivation was to once again gain personal political expediency from someone else's heartbreak.

Think about it: the president sheds tears over murdered children, but it's always attached to advancing a specific political agenda. That's precisely why, in some circles, as America's most radical pro-abortion advocate, Barack Obama has zero credibility when discussing lives lost to gun violence.

As far as Obama is concerned, Trayvon Martin deserves kudos for delivering a big bang for his anti-Second Amendment buck. Nonetheless, if the Trayvon controversy should miraculously cool down, in due time someone else will come along and provide still more political capital for the president.

Rest assured, if need be, Mr. Obama will move on quickly from Trayvon, just as he moved from Tucson to Sandy Hook to any number of other tragedies he's used as political causes.

Unfortunately, based on what went on in Sanford, Florida, certain African Americans fall into the same category as the president they blindly support.

Black Americans hung up on fomenting racial unrest or buying into the victim mentality lack credibility too, because although they cry racism over the tragic loss of Trayvon Martin, who they call one of their 'babies,' they have shed few tears over the extermination of actual babies taking place for the last 40 years in abortion clinics all over America.

While focused on Trayvon Martin, socially liberal black Americans continue to ignore the genocide that kills thousands of black baby boys (and girls) every day, many of whom, if given the chance to live, much like Trayvon Martin might have grown up to look like the son Barack Obama never had.

Does it matter that blacks constitute only 13% of the population but account for 36% of all the abortions that take place every year? Where are the tears, protest signs, and New Black Panther demonstrations for the deaths of innocent children who didn't break anyone's nose or smash anyone's skull against a sidewalk?

For perspective, 13% of the U.S. population contributed 22,000,000 of the 60,000,000 children aborted since 1973. Each and every day in the U.S., approximately 1,876 black children are aborted. And yet pro-life people are supposed to believe that the angst over Trayvon's untimely end is based on the black community's respect for the sanctity of life?

In her fight to save the unborn, Erma Clardy Craven, the late Minnesota social worker and author of Abortion, Poverty and Black Genocide, once shared that, "17,000 aborted babies were found in a dumpster outside a pathology laboratory in Los, Angeles, California; some 12-15,000 were observed to be black." Does the president care about them? Apparently not.

While Obama is asking America to "honor Trayvon" by doing what Obama wants, we forget that none of the 15,000 black babies found rotting in that dumpster in LA got the chance to wear a hoodie, shop for Skittles and fruit-flavored iced tea, or skulk around in the dark in a Sanford, Florida residential complex.

Suffice it to say, if only liberal blacks would spend just one day shouting as loudly about the systematic slaughter being perpetrated upon millions of their babies, the angry "Justice 4 Trayvon" stance would likely be better understood by those who disagree with their choice of poster child for racial injustice.

Basically it wants to keep you from doing what God wants you to do. His main weapons are crushing and suffocation – it crushes your visions, faith, hope, spiritual gifts and dreams so that you literally do nothing for God’s kingdom and give up. This spirit is after breath, and breath represents the Spirit of God. This spirit constantly told me to stop using my gifts as I was a waste of time and stupid! He suffocates you so badly that you can feel it in the physical, but then he eventually quenches the Holy Spirit and your zeal in order to carry on doing what God needs you to do. Proverbs 29:18 says “where there is no vision, the people perish.” You get spiritual apathy and think so low of yourself that you have no want to do anything for God or to get rid of this burden. You don’t bother wanting to rid of it because you believe it as truth.

If you had to see the python in the spirit realm, you will see it wrapped completely around your body, and its head will be right next to yours while it whispers negative thoughts, lies and deception into your ears. These very thoughts are crushing in itself. When we look at Genesis 3 the first poisonous words uttered by Satan were “Has God indeed said?” That created doubt in Eve’s mind. This spirit works non-stop at hissing out lies into your ears. You have to understand that the hisses are so powerful and convincing that recognizing it for what it actually is, is almost impossible.

As the python whispers all sorts of deception into your ears, the first thing you have to do is take authority over it and command it to leave you in the name of Jesus. Remember that Jesus gave us His authority to “trample over serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means harm you.” Luke 10:19
As soon as I did that, the spirit left me immediately! It was that simple. I never had to fight it any more than that. The weight lifted and I could now see things for what they were.

Also ask God for forgiveness for allowing the spirit to get the better of you and its attempt to rob you of your spiritual gifts. We are instructed in Proverbs 4:23 to “keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” Satan wants to harm both your physical body, emotional well-being and spirit! And from my case, you could see he did that with depression. I have my Honours in Clinical Psychology and I have always thought that most roots of mental illness are demonic.

As tough as it was, I am glad this happened to me as I don’t think this spirit is well known – any affliction that can be used to learn from and help other brothers and sisters in Christ, and ultimately bring glory to God, is worth it!
Please discern and keep watch for this spirit (1 Peter 5:8) and don’t ever allow it to hang around. Like I said, it is the strongest spirit I have ever encountered. Be vigilant, and conquer him!

You have mentioned that you were raised in a Christian home. Again, my answer is that it was most likely a legalistic and harshly ruled, hypocritical environment. There is a difference between true Orthodox Christianity and harsh legalism in so-called Christianity. Legalistic Christianity will produce any number of sexual deviant expressions whether it be homosexuality, bisexuality, transgenders, or someone like J Duggar who is driven by lust for the opposite sex. Our sexuality can take many wrong turns and that is why the Bible proscribes sexual expression between a man and a woman within the bounds of marriage. It is healthy and there is no possibility of STD's. All people, whether or not they're married must exercise self control. It's what makes for a healthy society.
