David Barton: Disney Movies Are Turning Animals Into Pagan Gods

On his "WallBuilders Live" radio program today, David Barton repeated his warning that Disney movies are anthropomorphizing animals by making people believe that they have human-like thoughts and feelings, which is causing people to essentially worship pagan gods.

"If you look back at the time of the Bible, a lot of the idols back then were actually animals," Barton said. "Dagon was the fish God."

Barton claimed that America never had any sort of animal rights movement until this nation got away from the Bible and Disney started producing movies like "Bambi" and "Lady and the Tramp," in which animals were presented as human surrogates.

"The Bible tells us that you are to be kind to your animals," he stated, "but you don't worship your animals, you don't make a Dagon god out of them and that's what we've now done."

[On Madeleine Christine Pitkin, an Oregon woman and heroin addict who died in jail after being refused medical attention for severe heroin withdrawal:]

Suicide. She chose to die when she chose to be a heroin user. She knew the consequences and chose to accept them. Transient highs were more important to her. Her passing is sad but far less so than the millions who die unwillingly. She would have been more miserable if she had lived. That's just how things go for some people. Too bad.

Just before his 83rd birthday, Westboro Baptist Church will, Lord willing, picket Willie Nelson, bearing the fit of the only kind and sober words he will receive: By any measure, you will shortly quit this earth. Your "brother, friend" Merle Haggard was supposed to join you at this concert, and the Lord required his soul recently. By all outward indicators, Merle Haggard landed in hell, and while you have the breath of life today you should repent and warn others to do the same.

The kind of nonsense you've sold to your perverse generation will not be accepted. For example, this bilge you spewed in your 2015 autobiography ("It's a Long Story") will have no path to escape your lips in that grave hour: "I couldn't betray marijuana any more than I could betray a family member [tell that to your 4 wives...especially the one who quit you when she found you carrying around the nice fresh hospital bill for the just-then birth of one of your children to another woman] or a lifelong friend. That's because marijuana has never betrayed me." God's requirements for you at this stage of life are summarized at Titus 2:2 - "That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience." You are bound by that standard.

You've busily ensured that your example is the exact opposite of that - right down to this day, continuing to promote illegal drug use, serial adultery and wink-at-fornication. It is time for you to prepare to meet the King of Eternity, that Almighty God who framed you and will require an accounting how you used your time, resources and extensive influence (all of which He loaned you for use in service to Him).

[From a website about famous tourism temples in India; the author of an article about a temple leaves their description of the temple and adds a note on their feelings about science]

Nagenahalli in Chennagiri taluk in Davanegare dist. in Karnataka is a snake sanctuary. Nagenahalli literally translates to cobras’ village. Snakes are seen everywhere. People and snake co-exists here. If bitten by any poisonous snakes and left unattended will results in death! However, this village stands as an exception. In this village, when bitten by a poisonous snake one doesn’t die. The poison doesn’t WORK. The village itself stands as a challenge to the science fraternity.

and fuck your “HIV could be ANYWHERE” bullshit. in the actual material world, lesbians do not contract HIV from lesbian sex. period. it essentially never happens. it is a medically negligible risk (“but still a risk!” you cry, even as you blithely do things every day that are both astronomically more risky and that will kill you, like, right now. driving is a good example).

serosorting. is serophobic. and it always will be. if you practice is as a safer sex practice, you are serophobic deal with it. like white people deal with the fact that they’ve internalized racism or men have internalized misogyny. you can still do it (your consent is inviolate) but just fucking own the fact that you’re doing it because you’re scared of HIV. jfc

Since 2001 when I first realized that my booklet was the "book/scroll" referred to in The Revelation 5:1-10:10, anytime that I revise it, I look for "non-coincidental synchronic reactions"...

On Tuesday 4/3/12, I tweaked the "7 seals"/'beyond Einstein theories' that are revealed on the cover of the 74-page "book/scroll". The very minor revisions that I made was to better express the math equations in 'Seal #6'. I put parenthesis around (God=40/13mt) and moved it closer, so as to clearly make it a part of the 'Conglomeratal Energy eternal Theory'. I also put parenthesis around '(gods e = 6m ui 10s 9t' and moved it closer, so as to clearly make it a part of the 'Conglomeratal Relationships eternal Theory'.

I was watching the movie 'JESUS' (Inspirational Films, 2001) on 'Trinity Broadcast Network' (TBN) when I printed out this new Title Page at 17:40. At this point in the movie was when Jesus threw out the money changers and other profiteers from the Temple. When the movie ended, I turned on the TV news to learn that "tornados and hail have struck the Dallas area". There was some dramatic video of 18-wheelers flying through the air! Notice how in 'Seal #4', I refer to "18-wheelers + spare".

Earlier in the day, I had withdrawn $704 from Bank(4) of America(7). "It's a lucky number". "How so?" asked the bank teller. "If you think of 7/04 as a date, that's July 4th". "Independence Day." "Right. And the word 'GOD': G is the 7th letter, the circle O is either the 15th letter or zer0, and D is the 4th letter." "Wow! I never knew that."

Later at the Flea Market Mall, I was in the Calvary Chappel Bookstore (Mike was working there) where I bought the 'Rose Guide to the Tabernacle' (it was 40% off). "Michael 7 letters, Mike 4". The book reminded my that the '7th Plague' was hail(4). After I printed out the latest tweaked version of the "7 seals"/theories, I put it inside the book to carry it home safely. Get it? I put the "7 seals" 'inside the Tabernacle'.

That night, I played timpani/percussion with Bob Lappin and the Palm Beach Pops. Lea Salonga sang 'A Whole New World'.

English is historically a Christian language. The fact that 'God' has three letters which symbolize the Holy Trinity is no 'coincidence'. English is the primary language of the world and Americans are the 'chosen people' for good & bad. Tolstoy was obviously wrong because to identify the Antichrist, you must also identify the Second Coming of the Christ, which I have.

'Jesus' has five letters as does 'Cross' which has five point(5)s. Liberty(7) Bell(4) represents 7/4: July 4th. (GOD=7_4.)The back of the United(6) States(6) Dollar(6) has "E PLURIBUS UNUM" on it which has 13 letters representing the 13 original colonies/states.

Are you a CONservative RepubliCON and a disciple of the "1st Beast" Ronald(6) Wilson(6) Reagan(6) and the "2nd Beast" George Walker Bush (Jr.)? I bet that's your agenda and you hate to get busted as a hypocritical antichrist.

Making women into men and men into eunuchs is a central part of the HG Wellsian evolution of the West into the land of soft and gender-neutral Eloi. If female suffrage is a major contributor to that, no matter its obvious merits in the name of justice, it the name of prudence it seems a bad idea.

If (and I speak only hypothetically) it were proven to me that female suffrage must inevitably lead to the culture we see around us, where Sandra Fluke, a 30-year-old law student, becomes the patron saint of forcing we Catholics to trample the crucifix and spit on images of the Virgin and pay for her fornication and harlotry and abominations, and if I were a woman of good character and stern moral fiber, I would like to think that I would be willing to forswear the vote as an act of sacrifice merely to prevent that future, a world where women like Fluke were allowed to represent womanhood, from coming into being.

[Discussing marital rape.]

Your comments make no absolutely sense. Women who marry have chosen, of their own free will, to give up their control of their body to their husbands. That’s what marriage means. Do you similarly complain about soldiers not having control over their bodies after they enlist? And as for voting, it is not a human right and says nothing about the worth of a human being. There are 7 billion human beings on the planet and only about 200 million are permitted to vote in the USA.

Women regard me as they choose. Unlike voting, that is their right. Many of them choose to support me for the obvious reason that they share my traditional values that have proven to be much more historically successful than the disastrous and societally destructive progressive values.

But then there’s Jen. Jen’s protective father has warned her repeatedly not to strut around downtown with flashy jewelry and provocative clothing. He’s given her pepper spray to carry in her purse, and a sharp metal stick to carry on her key chain. One night Jen is going to meet up with some friends. As she looks over her outfit in the mirror, God convicts her that she’s not being wise. She’s wearing a super tight and super short skirt, a low cut shirt and some large, flashy jewelry. God convicts her that her outfit is going to attract the wrong kind of attention. He tells her to be more modest. Jen blows Him off. Then He tells her to bring the self-defense tools her father gave her because she’s going to a dangerous part of town. Jen scoffs. She doesn’t want to jam the pepper spray into her super tiny purse, and she doesn’t want to bulk up her keys with the clunky metal weapon. So she leaves it all at home and tells God that He’s big enough to keep her safe. The problem here is that Jen is not trusting God, she’s trying to control Him. She expects Him to shield her from all harm even though she is refusing to obey His convictions. When Jen gets downtown, she immediately attracts the attention of two men who are just looking for an easy victim. They force her into an alley and Jen goes down. [...] In Jen’s case, God arranged for her to be assaulted in order to motivate her to improve her attitude towards Him.

He created you for the purpose of engaging with you, and He is going to force you to dance with Him whether you want to or not. You can either spend the whole time stumbling and lurching about, or you can focus on the subtle signals God is giving you and learn how to follow His lead. Quote# 118126

God assesses the action of killing someone based on the heart intentions of the murderer. He says there are times when it is appropriate to kill. Many times in the Old Testament, we find Yahweh commanding people to kill others. Anytime God gives the order to kill, we are not going to be in trouble with Him for attempting to kill someone–instead, we get in trouble with God for not killing, because that means we are intentionally disobeying Him. A good example here is when the Jews refused to kill all of the original inhabitants of the Promised Land.

So how do you know if God is telling you to kill someone? Step one is to make sure you are personally in alignment with Him. Step two is to wait for His clear instruction. Regardless of what your current communication with God is like, He knows how to make His orders very clear to you, and you can’t possibly justify murdering someone until you receive such orders. In real life, people rarely seek God sincerely in cases of premeditated murder. Instead, they do what they want to do for carnal reasons, then later try to justify it by saying, “God told me” when they know He really didn’t. Another popular game to play is to use God as an excuse to justify killing people you don’t like just to satisfy your own hate issues or because you want to get your greedy hands on their property and land. When you hear people talking about holy war, there’s usually nothing holy about it. If the real God is even being referred to, it’s highly doubtful He’s being sincerely sought. You need to look at the bigger picture. Clearly any Muslim who is trying to claim that god is telling them to kill is lying because Muslims worship Allah, who isn’t even real. If a follower of Judaism tries to use the holy war excuse, you also know there’s a problem, because it’s impossible to be in alignment with Yahweh while you’re clinging to a religion which rejects His New Covenant and the Divinity of Christ.

Quote# 118125

Well, here’s a straightforward command, right? And yet Yahweh is going to tell His people to murder all of the inhabitants of the Promised Land that they are heading towards. So what’s with the doubletalk? Well, the bottom line is this: you’re not the Creator of life, therefore you have no right to be trying to squelch it. Now Yahweh will say elsewhere in the Old Testament that He is the One who holds life and death in His hands. In other words, no one dies before God wants them to. Yahweh will also address the issue of accidental killings—like when your ox gets out and mows down the neighbor’s kid. He’ll also say that sometimes it’s okay to murder—like when someone sneaks into your house in the dead of night and you’re acting to defend yourself. When we don’t read the entire body of Yahweh’s commands, we come away with a false impression of what He actually said.

There are times when God authorizes Christians to kill, and in such cases, He does not accuse them of rebellion. When the Christian doctor has to choose between saving a mother or saving her baby, he needs to ask God to have His way in the situation and then go with whatever leading God gives him. When a Christian soldier gets called to a battlefield, he needs to make sure he has God’s Authorization before he starts blasting bullets at people. Just because we don’t have the power to end lives prematurely doesn’t get us off the hook for submitting to God’s Authority. This command calls us to respect life as God’s property, not ours, therefore we need to be seeking His input on what to do. How far should a Christian fireman go to try and save a child from a burning building? When is it okay to pull life support? When is it okay for a cop to shoot his assailant? These are questions that each individual soul needs to take to God as they come up. For many situations, there is no blanket rule we can lay down because God is a wild card and He has a long history of unexpected moves (see Does God kill? What is the difference between killing and murdering?).

Quote# 118122

An Indiana man is accused of beating an Afghanistan war veteran to death with a bar stool — and bragging about it — for allegedly “making a gay move on him.”

Jabreeh Davis-Martin was charged with murder in the Jan. 16 beating death of 28-year-old Jodie Henderson, reported the South Bend Tribune.

The 23-year-old Davis-Martin was arrested Feb. 18 on unrelated handgun and marijuana charges, about a week before the county coroner finally ruled the former Army National Guardsman had died from multiple blunt-force and chop injuries.

The autopsy also showed acute alcohol intoxication and exposure to the cold could have contributed to Henderson’s death.

Davis-Martin made his initial court appearance Monday in the case.

Prosecutors said Davis-Martin attacked Henderson after a third person told him the veteran loved him in a romantic way.

He confronted Henderson and attacked him with a bar stool, then left to go to a party — where he bragged about killing the man for his same-sex attraction, investigators said.

Prosecutors said Davis-Martin returned and found Henderson lying outside his home in a fetal position, and he stomped on the injured man until he was pulled off by friends.

His body was found the following morning lying in the street.

Investigators said they had video evidence of Henderson talking about his feelings of love toward Davis-Martin, whose mother warned him not “mess with her son like that.”

Witnesses told police that they overheard Davis-Martin tell his mother over the phone to clean up blood on the porch where he attacked Henderson.

Davis-Martin was not charged with a hate crime in the fatal beating because Indiana does not have a hate statute on the books.

“If I kill a person in Indiana because I want your wallet, I committed murder,” said Ken Cotter, the St. Joseph County prosecutor. “If I kill a person because I don’t like how you look, I’ve committed a murder. If a kill a person because some person has conveyed their romantic feelings towards me, I still committed a murder.”

Henderson served in the 381st military police company with the Indiana National Guard, including a one-year tour in Afghanistan.

[From an article about Ellen Page's confrontation against Ted Cruz over LGBT rights]

I wish that Cruz and the other Republicans would make a clear distinction between discriminating based on race, which is a benign characteristic that is not predictive of any particular behavior or activity, vs gay activity, which is by definition anything but benign.

They also need to make the case why leaving the authority to decide issues with the states is the most tolerant system of all. In fact, it is only because of states rights on the issue of same sex marriage that the support was able to find early, small scale success that eventually percolated upward and grew into a larger movement. That doesn't mean that everyone should have to capitulate to different beliefs just because a different point of view begins to gain support. No matter how the pendulum swings on social issues, states rights allows minority views to be heard and tolerated, even within only a small community, allowing different people with different deeply held beliefs to live their lives according to their own beliefs and to pursue happiness in their own way. Narrow minded people like Ellen who stay within their own so called 'progressive. communities don't even realize they are trying to force their views on all others who disagree. She doesn't realize that her views discriminate against a different set of people. It is one thing if she wants to use the strength of her argument to change the minds of others, it is quite different when the so called 'progressives' use the courts or an overbearing federal government to short circuit the debate.

There is really only one major exception to that approach that was clearly spelled out in the Constitution which protected the free exercise of religious belief.

I do give her credit for speaking respectfully to Cruz.

What it is...IS A SHAME AND DISGRACE that we as A people have allowed our country to go this far left in the first place. Yes...THE LEFT...THE LIBERAL LEFT!
Most may not remember when it was safe for our kids to play in the parks and neighborhoods. It was before all this out coming of the gays and lesbians...before all the racial strife we have now.
I'm not old...but I remember 50yrs ago being a kid who played safely outside.
Dont even try to say it's not about the safely our children face everyday...it's the VERY same law makers that have allowed this nonsense same sex and/or dual sex pubic restrooms.
I live in Alabama...proud of my Southern Heritage and Christian upbringing. Of you'll notice...1 of the few states to stand up and fight against all this NONSENSE.
This should NOT even be a topic of debate.
For the few that feel different...I ask 1 question.
If you have a same sex partner...how can you reproduce...you know...when you die off, someone needs to be left behind. Like children...? And..."you" people can't do that.
Maybe we could just stand back and watch you die off...? Aids...no chance if reproducing...hmmm...
Just rest assured that at some point in time a nutcase will get into a woman's restroom mind under the state laws that allow this NONSENSE and do physical harm to someone.
Just PRAY it's NOT MY WIFE...I promise they'll need more than bathroom police to protect them.
That is not a threat...that's A PROMISE...

I, personally, favor using alligators to interrogate captured Al Qaeda operatives...I guarantee you, terrorists are not going to stay quiet when they see one of those babies in the room with them...I have even come up with the interrogation unit's insignia...It will be one of those alligator emblems found on golf shirts....

Would you observe the Geneva Convention in ALL situations though? What if you catch some Al Qaeda agent with bomb making supplies etc., and you know that there is an imminent terrorist plot to kill Americans? What if one of the 9/11 hijackers had been caught the day BEFORE 9/11...Officials know a terrorist plot was about to unfold in America, but not where...Do we still apply Geneva, or do we torture the Al Qaeda operative? I agree, that there are more effective interrogation techniques, but I am not going to take torture off the table in certain, dire and rare situations just because of Geneva...I look at torture the way I do the Death Penalty, not for widespread use, but I want it as an option in certain extreme situations...What about that high ranking Al Qaeda member that we caught about 6 months ago? No doubt of his guilt, and he definitely knew alot of important information...Do we give him food, clothes, medical care, a nice bed, defense counsel, access to secret intelligence so he can defend himself against the charges etc..Because if we do, we might as well just surrender and all convert to Islam now, and save the time and trouble...
We are at war, and we need to fight at the same level of ruthlessness as our enemy...If they don't take prisoners then neither should we...If they mistreat or torture our forces, then we should do the same to theirs... Anyone who thinks that this hasn't been an informal rule for our forces or any military, during the past two centuries, is just kidding themselves...
Japanese forces weren't observing the Geneva Convention in WWII....Hence, I doubt we were either when fighting them....It's only common sense that you treat captured enemy POWs, exactly the same way that the enemy is treating your captured servicemen...

What captured American troops HAVEN'T been tortured and killed...You fight on the same level as your enemy, and the way America has always done when at war...You don't think that we were observing the Geneva Convention when we were fighting in Vietnam? Certainly not in the Pacific Theater during WWII..If the other side doesn't take prisoners, than neither do you...Or to put it another way..."If he pulls a knife, then you pull a gun.If he sends one of your men to the hospital, then you send one of his to the morgue...That's the Chicago Way! And that's how you get Capone!"
The goal of war is the destruction of your enemy..Should there be rules as to how you can kill someone, who is also intent upon killing you? Rules for war...Talk about an ideology of failure, and lack of courage...That's why the "Moral" and "Evolved" nations always get their asses kicked by the more ruthless and determined upstart groups...America needs a Wounded Knee mentality to our current problems...Or Colonel Kurtz in Apocalypse Now...."Give me 10 divisions of such men, and our problems here would be over very quickly..." And don't talk to me about the morals and ethics of the Founding Fathers, who owned slaves of their own...Their concern was only for white, adult, males who owned land...If a captured insurgent or Al Qaeda agent has information that will save American lives, and refuses to disclose it, I don't care how that information is obtained from them..In Vietnam, we used to take such prisoners for a ride in a helicopter....

Why do atheists get so emotional and aggressive in opposing biblical Christianity? Why does it bother them? Why does it matter at all to them?

When Answers in Genesis announced plans to build the Creation Museum, a local atheist group began attacking the ministry of Answers in Genesis and campaigning against the museum. When the museum was opened, the atheists gathered outside the museum to protest the opening of this facility. But why did they do this?

At the time of this issue’s publication, atheists are aggressively opposing a new project involving the building of a life-size Noah’s Ark, the Ark Encounter. But what is it to atheists if Christians build such a facility to proclaim the Christian message? After all, thousands of secular museums across the USA and other countries around the world are already proclaiming an atheistic evolutionary message to the public. Government schools throughout the world by and large indoctrinate hundreds of millions of the coming generations in naturalism—really atheism.

So why do atheists get so upset with a minority that stands for biblical Christianity?

During my debate with Bill Nye “the Science Guy” on February 4, 2014, Bill was asked where matter came from. In his answer he said it was a great mystery, but he loved the “joy of discovery” as he pursued such questions. In my responses to Bill’s answers, I asked him why the joy of discovery mattered to him. I explained that from Bill’s perspective, life is the result of natural processes and there is no biblical God, so when he dies, he won’t even know he ever existed or knew anything. Then, when others who knew him die, they won’t know they ever knew him, either. Eventually, from his perspective of naturalism, the whole universe will die and no one will ever know they ever existed. So what is the purpose of this “joy of discovery”? Really, the naturalistic view of life is ultimately purposeless and meaningless!

Think about the well-known atheist Richard Dawkins. Why does he spend so much time writing and speaking against Someone (God) he doesn’t believe exists? Why is he so aggressive against biblical Christianity? In an ultimately purposeless and meaningless existence, why does it matter to him if people believe in the God of the Bible and the account of creation as outlined in Genesis? Why bother fighting against such people when, from his perspective, eventually no one will even know they ever existed?

They claim that they care about people and argue that believing in creation is harmful to society. But something deeper is going on. They aren’t fighting for the truth, but suppressing it.
