Two Common Lies Christians Tell Themselves About Halloween

We don’t participate in any of the “bad stuff” about Halloween, just the fun aspects. Sure, you don’t let your kids dress up as witches or ghosts, but what do you tell them when they ask why their friends are in costumes that are mimicking the underworld? Or how do you answer their questions about the house across the street that is decorated like a graveyard? Do you tell them that’s okay for them, just not us? If you do, you are telling your kids that it is okay to emulate evil. I’m not taking this to an extreme folks. Kids are literal. How is a young child pretending to be a scary monster with a hatchet stuck in his head acceptable for Halloween? Or maybe you tell them it’s not okay, but we should just ignore it. Now you are teaching them to not care about the lost. It is a slippery slope, parents, very slippery.
We only participate in our church’s Fall Festival (which, ahem, just happens to fall on October 31st, and we just happen to dress up for it, and we just happen to pass out candy to kids there). Seriously? Honestly, this practice gets me more upset than any other part of a Christian participating in this holiday. What about 1 John 2:15 or Romans 12:2? I see no reason to conform ourselves to this world just so our children don’t feel “left out” on October 31st. Guess what? God calls us specifically to be left out, to be set apart (holy) for Him, every day of the year. I’m pretty sure Jesus and His disciples were the odd ducks in the neighborhood. I can not justify celebrating a pagan holiday with my pagan neighbors as being set apart, and I certainly can not justify a pretend, watered-down, Christian-ified (yes, I made that word up) version. Come on, Christians, be different and feel honored that you are! Use this night to teach your children why we are different, why we are not participating in Halloween, and how freeing that can be.

Skelly himself says he’s totally without sin. 1 John 1:9 says “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” We are to strive to cease sinning, but we can only be perfect in our resurrected bodies which are perfect. However, he also believes that queers and transvestites can be redeemed. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be the case due to conversion therapy failing. Homosexuality may be totally incurable and these souls may be eternally lost. However, for the rest of us, Christ’s sacrifice on the cross is not IN VAIN AND IS NOT LIMITED TO SINS OF THE PAST!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! OWWWWWWWWW! HALLELUJAH! SAY AMEN IN THE HOUSE OF GOD!

I have never had and can never have these formative experiences.

I will never escape inceldom because everybody my age has completed all of these experiences and can live a normal life. I am yet to complete any of the experiences in 11 - 13. I am stuck there. Socially, I am 11 years old. But even still, even if I did do these things now, somehow, it wouldn't be the same. I'm too old. That exquisite, intoxicating and luxurious explosion of hormones, excitement, that shared enthusiasm and sense of wonder and excitement with your male and female friends as you being indulging in the splendours that life has to offer... Those moments are forever gone. They are memories that were never made, lives never lived. They are gone forever.

Even if I do escape inceldom and somehow deceive a woman into thinking I have had a normal life, I will never be happy because it will always be on my mind that I have never done these things and she has, and I will be jealous of her and will begin to hate her for it. I already hate her for it.

I am 27 and I have done nothing. I have had no social contact with anybody for any of the time it mattered. I have had no memorable experiences. I have no funny photos, old buddies who I can open a beer with and laugh about the good old days, laugh about that time when I got really upset because my first girlfriend called it off, laugh about that time after when I got drunk and had sex with a fat warpig, or got high and pulled a model.

I have done nothing. It's too late for me. I am crying as write his. I will never know the fulfillment of being with a oneitis. I will never be able to do these things. It's too late.

Life is a living decay. I am an empty shell of a man and nothing can fill me up.

I didn't have any of these experiences because women and normies would not let me. I was not sufficiently attractive to be deemed a social creature. Instead, I was used as a tool for normies to gain social points by abusing and ridiculing. I was like an arcade machine they put abuse into and got tokens out, which they could exchange for social esteem. This is why I hate them all.

This is what I mean when I say the positive reinforcement you get just by being attractive matters.

Biblical Sexuality

Sexuality has become an interesting topic. The Supreme Court ruling on same-sex unions has radically changed the conversation. So many things influence the discussion: culture, politics, philosophy, ethics, and religion just to name a few. From a Christian perspective, I believe the most important lens through which to view this topic is the Bible. With many people attempting to deconstruct sound biblical teaching concerning marriage, it only seems right to expound on the issue at the root of the entire conversation: Homosexuality.

I’d like to start by saying that I have friends who are homosexual. I’ve ministered over the years to many within the homosexual community. This is not an attempt to promote an “us-versus-them” mentality. It is merely a look at biblical sexuality: God’s intent and how we should respond.

“The Lord God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone…’ Then the Lord God made a woman…” (Genesis 2:18, 22). There are several truths to be learned from the creation account. First and foremost, God created sexual identity and it can’t be undone inherently, theoretically, psychologically, or any other way. God made Adam who was a man, and Eve who was a woman. Thus sexual identity was established.

Beyond identity, God also created sexual intimacy. God intended sexual intimacy to take place between a man and a woman in the context of marriage. Homosexuality abandons God’s design in several ways. For one, instead of embracing the man-woman design, homosexuality embraces a same-sex preference as an option for sexual intimacy.

What does the Bible say?

“Do not practice homosexuality; it is a detestable sin” (Lev. 18:22). “If a man has sex with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is abhorrent” (Lev. 20:13).
“Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies… Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relationships with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men…” (Rom. 1:25-27).
Every mention of homosexual behavior in the Bible, both Old and New Testament, condemns it without question. The passages aren’t vague in the way that people might have once looked to the Bible to inaccurately uphold slavery. Yet those who advocate for the legitimacy of a homosexual lifestyle have gone to great lengths to call into question every biblical reference. For example, they would argue that the book of Leviticus also condemns eating shellfish or cutting your sideburns. They would say it’s ancient religious law that doesn’t apply to New Testament believers.

First, that is an extremely irresponsible way to read and interpret Scripture. One can’t just ignore these commands as ancient practices no longer relevant for New Testament Christians. That misses one of the most essential understandings of the Old Testament. Specifically, that there is an entire portion of teaching dedicated to ceremonial uncleanness and another section of teaching that speaks specifically to immoral conduct. One is centered on the sacrificial system of the people of Israel. The other is meant for every human being throughout history.

It’s one thing to describe temple rituals. It’s an entirely different thing to talk about God’s moral law (e.g. Ten Commandments). Besides, the New Testament condemns homosexual behavior as well. When it’s talked about in the Old Testament, it’s rooted in the moral law of God. It’s not the same as which foods one was allowed to eat under ancient Jewish dietary laws. Just like the prohibitions in the Old Testament against incest, God’s warning against homosexual behavior is for every age.

Then there are people who challenge New Testament verses by saying that while it seems to reprimand homosexual acts, it’s really talking about male prostitutes, not same-sex monogamous relationships. There’s only one problem, the Greek word used for homosexuality in the New Testament is ??se?????t?? (arsenokoítes) and means “partner in homosexual intercourse.” So the conclusion remains: God created human beings as male and female, and meant for sexual intimacy to take place in the context of marriage alone. As a result, the Bible throughout describes any deviation from that design as outside of God’s will for our lives.

Today’s culture hangs so much on sexuality. The world teaches that fulfilling one’s sexual desire is what brings ultimate satisfaction in life. The reality is that no earthly relationship can make one’s life complete. However, there is One who can fulfill our heart’s desire for love and acceptance. Knowing Jesus will never leave us empty. True fulfillment comes by having an authentic relationship with him.

There are many who want to ignore clear biblical teaching on the matter. Some of those people are clergy, who have no problem performing ceremonies for same-sex couples. These people not only ignore the Bible, but also 2000 years of church history. Make no mistake, from the Early Church Fathers to the Reformation and beyond, homosexual behavior has been deemed as against God’s unique sexual design for humanity.

The problem we will run into in the future does not pertain to clear biblical teaching on the subject, but rather to ecclesial and pastoral ethics. Will those who are ordained in the church uphold the biblical views and traditions of the church faithfully? Only time will tell. Regardless, the Bible is clear, without doubt and without reservation, homosexual behavior stands against God’s intent for human sexuality.

Our True Identity is defined by our Eternal Soul -- and those who lack Soul-Memory or Soul-Knowledge, which includes the memory of the previous lives our Soul has lived, must be understood as being the victims of Arrested Mental Development which results in the affliction of Spiritual-Amnesia. In the same way that the Natural Laws develop the physical body and evolve our physical form into adulthood -- the same Natural Laws will evolve the mind to the absolute zenith of Enlightened Consciousness.

But because choice and freewill is necessary in the development of the mind, our beliefs have the power to totally derail the process of evolutionary-development -- delaying each level of development unto those beliefs have been corrected. Erroneous beliefs cannot serve as a building platform to achieve higher growth and development. As an integral part of the development of the mind, beliefs that are defective or untrue, must be overcome before the developing mind can move beyond that level of understanding.

When rightly used for their intended purpose which their authors composed them, the scriptures are designed to be used to restore Soul-Memory and the prodigal son's connection with his Spiritual Source of Being. But when these same scriptures are used as if they were a history book -- thereby throwing away the Key of Knowledge in the manner of the scribes and Pharisees -- the scriptures not only render the person spiritually impotent, but actually inhibit the necessary development of mind and inner spiritual connection to that person's Higher Source of Mind and Being.

"This is what the LORD says: 'Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD'" (Jeremiah 17:5). The scriptures are not historical accounts -- but rather, accounts of the body, mind and spirit that must be experienced by the faithful and sincere seeker. To use the scriptures in accord with the thinking of men who read the sacred writings as if they were a history book -- instead of seeking the meaning of the allegorical writings directly from the Lord -- is the folly of carnal men whose rejection of the Lord as their Teacher, is the self-imposed curse of the Word of God.

As it is written: "Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we will incur a stricter judgment" (James 3:1). Those who teach without first restoring Soul-Memory, teach and lead blindly, and have yet to first remove the beam from their own eyes! And when a person follows the blind leaders, they are led in the wrong direction. Ultimately, all of mankind has the innate potential to evolve through the necessary levels of mental-development to achieve the absolute Celestial Level of an Enlightened Mind and Being -- but because of bad choices and self-defeating actions, the vast majority of people inhibit their own potential and birth-right, and embrace the choices and paths that derail their development.

No one can be a teacher or authority -- whether religious, academic, or cultural -- while failing to have achieved the necessary level of self-knowledge that has enabled them to have acquired Soul-Memory -- thereby overcoming their own affliction of Spiritual-Amnesia, and restoring their mind and consciousness to their True Source of Being. From a Wholistic Perspective -- or what can be portrayed as the Higher Enlightened Vision of Self from the perspective of the Whole of our Being -- in contradistinction to the very limited human vision and understanding of self -- our ego-driven self-destructive nature causes us to be people who must rightly be portrayed as spiritual-imbeciles -- who by virtue of their thinking, mindset and lifestyle, have permitted themselves to be disenfranchised from their True-Self -- i.e., their unknown pre-existent Eternal Soul-Self.

An imbecile can be defined as "a mentally deficient person" -- and those who lack Soul-Memory, are themselves the victims of arrested mental development. Therefore, when it is understood that Soul-Memory is an integral part of the developmental process of mind that IS NECESSARY to evolve each of us to a condition of true higher mental and spiritual maturity, then what we have is conformation of the statement: "For those who guide this people are leading them astray; And those who are guided by them are brought to confusion" (Isaiah 9:16 NASB).

How would you like to portray people who have what would constitute a mental affliction that causes them to utilize only a fraction of their own resources of mind? Whatever you choose to call such people, they are presently your leaders. And it is because the people are being led by mentally undeveloped spiritual-imbeciles whose thinking, mindset and lifestyle present an obstacle to mental and spiritual development, they have caused the people they lead to dwell in a state of abject confusion and self-ignorance.

One of the essential elements and aspects of the Original Gospel Teachings, was to initiate Soul-Memory in the sincere seeker of Truth and the Kingdom. In the same way that physical maturity can only come and manifest in stages, this is also true of mental-development -- and is even more crucial in the individual person's spiritual-development. When we came into being at conception, we evolved to a certain point in the darkness of our mother's womb -- and this enclosed dark environment was necessary in our development of a fetus.

When rightly understood from a Wholistic Perspective, when we were born into this world we entered what can best be portrayed as the Womb of Mother-Earth -- and because the development of mind requires choice and freewill to attain the proper mental-growth and development, it can be said that our present womb-environment presents a different type of darkness that is necessary for the maturation process to be efective.

The problem is that choice requires freewill -- and improper beliefs, thought-patterns and lifestyle have the ability to derail our mental development. And while each of us has a physical body that has the potential to achieve the next stage of birth that enables us to arrive at a completed level of mankind's potential (see Entering The Kingdom Of Man ), it is because mental development MUST result from the choices and the exercise of freewill that is conducive to the mental-developmental process -- and the fact that our leaders lack the necessary Soul-Memory because of their own arrested development, where we find ourselves being guided down the path of self-ignorance and derailed mental development.

Therefore it can be stated that virtually all of mankind is presently dwelling in what the Gospels portray as the "outer darkness" of mind and being -- i.e., and in the same way that for the educational process to be effective in our system of education -- requiring a certain mindset and behavior -- this is also true in the School of Life that we were physically born into when we emerged out of our mother's womb. And the Original Gospel teachings presented to us the necessary path to achieve mental and spiritual development in pursuit of achieving the next stage of birth.

Among the important teachings that were suppressed by the Church, is the teaching that was preserved in Gospel of Thomas saying twenty-two which sets forth the requirement for our return to Spiritual Eden as demonstrated when the Disciples asked Jesus how the Inner Kingdom is entered, and "Jesus said to them, When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the male and the female one and the same, so that the male not be male nor the female female; ...then will you enter the kingdom." In the process of restoring the oneness of Self that is allegorically portrayed as the restoral of the divided Adam and Eve through the process of eating the Divine Manna/Fruit of the Tree of Life -- and therefore making "...male and the female one and the same, so that the male not be male nor the female female", we are then able to achieve the next stage of birth that restores us to Spiritual Eden and a condition of At-Oneness with God.

The necessary thinking, mindset and lifestyle was portrayed as putting on the required "wedding garment" is what enables us to achieve the next stage of birth -- wherefore mankind who chooses not to put on the "wedding garment" is portrayed as dwelling is what is portrayed as the "outer darkness" of mind and being as personified in the words: "Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.' For many are called, but few chosen". Those who dwell in the undeveloped levels of the "outer darkness" do not possess Soul-Memory. They are ignorant of their own Higher Eternal Soul -- and in their present separated condition, they are the epitome of self-ignorance -- i.e., "Jesus said, ...But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty". And mankind dwells in this condition of self-ignorance that has been portrayed as a type of death.

The Outer Darkness has also been portrayed as the Far Country in the parable of the prodigal son -- wherein mankind is portrayed as dwelling in a state of mental-suppression -- incapable of comprehending anything of a true higher reality. Mental Suppression can in many ways be likened to being the victim of retardation -- organic physical limitations that can almost be portrayed as a spiritual form of Down Syndrome. And while organic (physical) man possesses the innate ability to overcome and prevail over these limitations, few are willing to even make the effort. For thousands of years faux-clergy have been peddling "get-in-the-kingdom free tickets" that complacent people have been spiritually defrauded when they bought into the great hoax. The Gospel portrays these faux-clergy as wolves in sheep's attire who live off the various forms of the collection plate.

And in truth, what this means is that you have yourself been learning from religious clergy and authorities, teachers and professors in academia, and political and philosophical leaders, who by virtue of their own arrested-development, are themselves the victims of this same organic mental retardation. And this condition is so all-pervading, that Paul openly stated that he could not convey to the people who he, himself, taught what he portrayed as the "traditions" of the Gospel, the true spiritual meaning of the Gospel, because they would reject this spiritual meaning as "foolishness".

Acclaimed Scholar, Mystic, Gnostic and world-wide leader of the Ebionite Nazirene Restoration Movement, the soul of Allan Cronshaw spiritually came of age in his previous life as Jacob, whom we know as James, the person known historically as the Brother of Yeshua (Jesus). Dick once wrote with respect to the original disciples of Jesus that: "Christ ...taught his followers how to enter the kingdom while still alive, where other mystery religions only bring about amnesis: knowledge of it at the 'other time' in 'the other realm,' not here. What Allan's Soul-Self learned in the first century, he put into practice over the almost ensuing 2000 years where he was sent back into this world to start numerous spiritual communities which served as a bedrock environment for other sincere seekers of Truth in TheWay. While the Church was hunting down and burning mystic visionaries such as Gordaino Bruno at the stake (see Spiritual Religion), the soul of Allan Cronshaw was working with other sincere seekers to guide them into the Light of TheWay.

By applying the principles and teachings that the historical man Jesus revealed to his closest disciples, the soul who is presently Allan was again able to tap into his higher Soul-Self which is a Being of Light -- and it is through this conscious spiritual interaction that enabled Allan to restore the original teachings associated with the historical man Jesus and TheWay. These important restored writings which contain much of the higher knowledge that was suppressed by the Church of Rome, is now explored throughout the writings which have come to be known as TheWay of the Nazirene.

According to Socrates and Plato, the most important forms of knowledge come not from formal instruction, but by a re-awakening of already existing dormant or latent knowledge that exists within our own mind and being. This is called anamnesis. Under the heading of Anamnesis (Philosophy), the Wikipedia states: It is the idea that humans possess knowledge from past incarnations and that learning consists of rediscovering that knowledge within us. The article then goes on to say: Socrates' response is to develop his theory of anamnesis.

He suggests that the soul is immortal, and repeatedly incarnated; knowledge is actually in the soul from eternity... What one perceives to be learning, then, is actually the recovery of what one has forgotten. (Once it has been brought back it is true belief, to be turned into genuine knowledge by understanding.) And thus Socrates (and Plato) sees himself, not as a teacher, but as a midwife, aiding with the birth of knowledge that was already there in the student.

Allan is very much proof of the above statements by Ouspensky, the Apostle Peter, the visionary Philip K. Dick, as well as Socrates and Plato. While Allan formally only has a high school education, he recently retired from Verizon as a corporate manager and software engineer. Allan has authored numerous articles which are read and known world-wide by seekers who search out the original teachings of Jesus -- teachings that enable the seeker to fulfill the adage to Know Thyself, and begin tapping into the Inner Source of Light that is our True Self. He has been a speaker at such estemed groups as The Conference On Human Consciousness And Human Evolution.

A person of a linear-mindset who equates wisdom and knowledge as being the product of a formal education, will very likely question the credentials of Allan Cronshaw who has never undergone the formal study of philosophy, theology or science. Yet, the linear-minded person seems to forget the very words of Einstein who reasoned: “The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education.” Mystics have long warned mankind that the reality of this world of appearances is not at all what is seems to be through the perception of man's physical eyes and senses -- i.e., that there is a great deal more that man's senses and perception cannot detect or even imagine.

And this same enigma of the limits of man's physical senses and liner-based mindset was noted by Albert Einstein who concluded with respect to man's dilemma when he stated: "The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift." To our own demise our culture has waged war on the Intuitive Gift that Einstein and other visionaries and mystics have portrayed as the answer to our self-imposed limitations of mind and spirituality

An important insight into the very essence, purpose and higher spiritual objectives of the original teachings of Jesus that came to be portrayed as TheWay, is contained in an article in the Encyclopedia Britannica under the heading, The History of Christian Mysticism, where it reads: “Although the essence of mysticism is the sense of contact with the transcendent, mysticism in the history of Christianity should not be understood merely in terms of special ecstatic experiences but as part of a religious process lived out within the context of the Christian community.

From this perspective mysticism played a vital part in the early church. Early Christianity was a religion of the spirit that expressed itself in the heightening and enlargement of human consciousness”. What is expressed in these words is of the utmost importance. Why? Because the original teachings of Jesus was not the blind faith and belief in a prophet or god-man -- but rather, the means to transform all Christian disciples of TheWay into prophets and mystics as demonstrated in the words: "...From this perspective mysticism played a vital part in the early church. Early Christianity was a religion of the spirit that expressed itself in the heightening and enlargement of human consciousness”.

But, we must then pose the question: Just what is a "...religion of the spirit"? Like an astronaut who travels beyond the limits of the earth's atmosphere into outer space, a spiritual religion prepares the seeker/disciple to transcend the barrier of this physical world, and enter into what the biblical authors portrayed as the Kingdom of God which Jesus taught was within us. But to accomplish this spiritual transcendence, you had to first prepare the physical body to make it an environment that would permit "...the heightening and enlargement of human consciousness” to be brought about -- and this requires a great amount of effort and preparation.

Throughout the countless past lives where I (Allan) had attained a condition of Anointed Enlightenment, not once had I ever undergone in any manner what could be portrayed as a formal education. Why? Because as Einstein basically states (“The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education”), when you over-develop the linear servant, and impede the development of the intuitive gift, it becomes very difficult to bring about the necessary "...heightening and enlargement of human consciousness” to the degree that one can evolve through the subsequent stages of birth, achieve Oneness with one's higher Soul-self, and open the inner "narrow strait gate" to the Kingdom within.

From the perspective of a Darwinist based foundation, there is very little in our present-day system of education that prepares the seeker/disciple to institute the necessary inner connection to their higher Soul-self. In the words of the author and visionary Philip K. Dick in his The Ten Principles Of The Gnostic Revelation when he portrays the realty of the person you are in this world to that of your higher soul-self where he wrote: "Each of us has a divine counterpart unfallen who can reach a hand down to us to awaken us. This other personality is the authentic waking self; the one we have now is asleep and minor..." He then goes on to explain with respect to the person we are in this world who the conditions of their upbringing has alienated them from their true self, thereby causing the person to "...split with the reality principle early in life, and so to speak willingly fall asleep in delusion."

And it is this state of delusion that is portrayed by Plato in his Cave of Illusions -- which can only be reversed through the process of what Plato and Socrates portray as "anamnesis" -- wherein the seeker/disciple begins to tap into the higher reality of "...the soul [which] is immortal, and repeatedly incarnated" -- relearning the "...knowledge [that] is actually in the soul from eternity..." And in conclusion Plato concludes: "What one perceives to be learning, then, is actually the recovery of what one has forgotten" -- a process that can only be accomplished through the developmental balance of the linear-intellectual and intuitive spheres of mind.

In this life it was necessary to bring about that condition of mind where I would be intuitively connected to my higher Soul-self, while simultaneously able to write. And thus, in order to fulfill my purpose in this life, it was necessary for me to develop the necessary balance between the Intuitive and Linear.
