2000 years ago I lived as Jacob who people call James, and was known as the Brother of Yeshua/Jesus. Many times myself and the other disciples were sent back into the world to guide true seekers in TheWay. Visit my web sites and behold the Truth that the Church has been concealing from you. The Kingdom is Spiritual, and can only be entered by those who are themselves Spiritual.

Those who pick up their own cross and walk in TheWay, are able to enter the Inner Kingdom and learn directly from the Lord. While Jews and Christians ignore Yeshua's words that the Kingdom will never come upon the earth, because it is within you -- and you must overcome the Laws that enable you to bring about the next stage of birth that permits you to enter into the Inner Kingdom -- this reality that Yeshua stated remains true.

As one who has myself walked in TheWay -- and spent many lifetimes re-entering this world to guide other sincere seekers in TheWay -- I am here as a witness and guide to others who seek the Truth and the Kingdom.

Quote# 133016

When the question is asked: What Would Jesus Do? One of the primary answers should be that Jesus would neither lie about God, and neither would he put lying words in the mouth of God. Why? When you embrace or promote lying words which you attribute to God, then you make yourself an apostate to the Truth and TheWay. Yet today modern Christians not only promote lying words which they decisively attribute to the words spoken by God -- a sin that alienates them from the Truth and TheWay that the historical man Jesus taught -- but many of them accept the lies of Islam and the Muslim lies of abomination.

In the article An Inconvenient Truth which is written by an author of the original Gospels, it is demonstrated that all the religions of man have been corrupted -- that Christianity came into being because of the corruptions of Judaism -- that Islam came into being because of the corruptions of Christianity -- and that while mankind possesses the innate ability to Know and Embody the Truth of all Truths, he perpetually embraces and adheres to the lying dogma of men. Therefore the question is posed: What Would Jesus do? Or Say? And on the issue of embracing Muslims, the question must be asked: Has Donald Trump represented the answers to these important questions?

(...)

The sin that has caused the Christian world to be cast into a spiritual diaspora of abject ignorance, as well as the lies of abomination found in the Qur'an which has been embraced and promoted by many who portray themselves as Muslims, is with a little effort on the part of the believers easily proven to be false. In witness to the Truth of all Truths set forth by the author of An Inconvenient Truth, all of mankind has the innate ability to enter the Presence of God, and confirm the Ultimate Truth of all Truths.

But to accomplish this, the seeker must totally Turn to the Light and seek the Truth and the Kingdom. Which means that they must reject the lies of their religious leaders and authorities. Which means that those who are portrayed as radical Muslims must repent of their evil ways of rape, torture and murder -- while those portrayed as "moderate Muslims" must stand in opposition to both the radical Muslims, as well as the lies of abomination inserted into the Qur'an by past religious leaders and authorities.

Which means that it isn't enough for those portrayed as "moderate Muslims" not to slay the unbelievers as commanded in the Qur'an -- because as Muslims, they must denounce and vehemently oppose those who embrace and promote the lies of Islam which have been inserted into the Qur'an by counterfeit religious leaders in the past. The silence of the "moderate Muslims" envelops all of Islam in a cloud or Spiritual Ignorance and Separation from the very God they call upon and worship.

The ONLY solution to what is portrayed as Radical Islam, is a Spiritual Solution. And this Spiritual Solution is Universal to all of mankind. It is True from a religious perspective -- it is True from a philosophical perspective -- it is True from a secular perspective -- from an academia-educational perspective -- and, what can rightly be portrayed, a human perspective. And it will remain impossible to resolve the conflict and human suffering, until this Universal Spiritual Solution is Resolved.

The suffering imposed upon innocent people by what has been portrayed as radical Islam, cannot be resolved through ideology, philosophy, diplomacy, military conflict or the empowerment of what has been termed "moderate Muslims". Why? So long as Islam maintains that the Qur'an is the verbatim word of Allah dictated through Mohammad directly to mankind -- and that as stated in the Qur'an, Allah requires all True Muslims to perpetuate violence upon unbelievers and infidel -- then those who fail to fulfill the commandments of Allah in the Qur'an, must be seen as the unbelievers and infidel who fail to fulfill the required commandments and will of Allah. And from this Quaranic perspective, what is often portrayed as moderate Muslims, are merely part of the body of infidels who oppose the will of Allah. Why would those portrayed as moderate Muslims be seen as spiritual infidels?

Because it is the objective of the original teachings of Islam to seek and know the Truth of all Truths -- and to remain silent when others who portray themselves as Muslims are murdering innocent people in the name of Allah, is apostasy against the God they claim to worship. And the fact that it is within the innate ability for all of mankind to acquire and prove the Truth of all Truths as set forth and witnessed to in An Inconvenient Truth, then all of mankind are responsible for seeking that Truth -- i.e., "If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have been guilty of sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin" (John 15:22). With this declaration of Truth, all are responsible.

As the divine offspring of Creator-God who was formed in His Image, mankind has the potential to Know the Truth of all Truths -- receiving this Great Body of Truth Directly from the Source of all Truth. Therefore, the only obstacle that inhibits mankind from the knowledge of the Truth, is the limits he imposes upon himself. Man possesses the undeveloped resources of mind to know all truths -- and he is not in need of other men to teach him. And from the perspective of the core teachings of both Christianity and Islam, it is a sin to seek out any teacher other than the True Prophet. And with respect to man's search for Truth, one of the greatest obstacles to acquiring the Truth of all Truths, is the baggage of man-made dogma instituted by pseudo-teachers that inhibits man in his journey, and obstructs the path of the prodigal son's return to the Kingdom from which he originally emerged.

The Rule of Divine Law is this: In order to Possess the Truth, you must yourself be Possessed by the Truth, and the Truth alone. Therefore, anyone willing to permit themselves to surrender to the Light and become an expression of Higher Truth, will Know the Truth of all Truths that breaks the shackles of spiritual bondage, and sets them free to enter the Edenic Kingdom of Origination. From a Jewish perspective, this Return to Eden can be portrayed as the Promised Land/Spiritual Jerusalem -- from a Christian perspective, the Kingdom -- and from a Muslim perspective, the journey to the Distant Mosque in Spiritual Mecca.

Throughout the history of mankind, what can be called religion has always been the tool of charlatan priests/clergy and despotic rulers to exert and maintain control over the thinking and lives of the masses of people. By provoking fear in the people and the threat of death and eternal damnation in hell, the priests/clergy and despotic rulers were able to maintain almost absolute control over the people. This was true when the scriptures were originally written. Just as it remains true even today.

From a Christian perspective, it is easily demonstrated that the scriptures contained in the Bible were corrupted. Why were the scriptures corrupted? In order to make them support the carnal and political agenda of the ruling classes. This fact was true of Judaism, it was true of Christianity, and in like manner it is also true of Islam. And while on the surface these three religions may appear different, at their core they are not only one and the same, but they have been imbued with the same spiritual purpose and objective. And if a Jew, a Christian, or a Muslim can remove the man-made dogma within which their respective religions are immersed, each can equally find the Truth of all Truths that will set them free and permit them to enter into Life.

(..)

The Source of Islamic beliefs across the spectrum of all sects and groups who portray themselves as Muslim, is the Qur'an -- and if the Qur'an has been so corrupted that some Muslims are compelled to inflict suffering, harm and even death upon others in accord with what they believe is the words and commandments of God, then the Qur'an itself is a lying abomination to the Truth. And unless those who are portrayed as "moderate Muslims" actively oppose the killing in the Name of God, then they are as guilty as those who interpret and promote the Qur'an in this manner.

Further, when Christians embrace Muslims without actively objecting to the lies of abomination that were written into the Qur'an my men as originating with God, then these Christians are as guilty for the blood of slain innocents as all Muslims are. Jesus would never have embraced a people who promoted lies attributed to God that commands believers to "Slay them [unbelievers] wherever you find them.." Not only would Jesus vehemently oppose such an abomination, but he would have opposed and condemned those who called themselves his followers, who did not themselves vehemently denounce such lying statements being attributed to the words of God.

There are sufficient biblical texts and pre-Nicene Church writings to easily prove that the Gospels were corrupted in the fourth century in order to promote Roman Paganism. Which means that any sincere seeker of Truth can prove the truth and the fact that the Emperor Constantine who was not even a Christian, ordered the words spoken by God to mankind to be altered from their original context, and can work around the corruptions of the Gospel text by the counterfeit authorities of the Church. Which means that so long as these Christians denounce the corruptions, that they can continue to use the Gospels as the intended Key of Knowledge that unlocks the "narrow gate" within them to provide entrance into the Inner Kingdom. Thus, the question: Do the more ancient uncorrupted copies of the Qur'an exist?

And this is important because it is not enough to ignore the lies written into the text of the Qur'an -- because the lies themselves are an abomination against God. The proof of this is seen in the fact that the children of so called "moderate Muslims" have embraced the lies in the Qur'an, and have embraced jihad against the innocent victims of Islam -- enslaving women, blowing up innocent people, and cutting the heads off those who reject the abominable words that past Muslim religious authorities placed in the mouth of God.

If those portrayed as "moderate Muslims" wish to continue to use the Qur'an as the word of God, then they must vehemently denounce the corruptions of past Muslim religious leaders. Moreover, these "moderate Muslims" must be the leading voice of opposition against the Islamic abomination that has been carried out in the name of their God. If they fail to do this, then they are acting in concert, and make themselves part of the abomination and grave sin against God. In the same way, when Christians extend to Muslims an open hand of welcome -- wherein, Jesus would never have remained silent to the sin of man promoting the abominations inserted into the Qur'an as being the spoken words of God -- then these Christians make themselves an integral part of the abdominal sin against God. And the fact that each and every Christian and Muslim has the innate ability to prove the Truth of all Truths by sincerely embracing their own religious teachings -- using their scriptures as the intended Key of Knowledge -- then the abomination of Christian and Muslim alike is unforgivable.

(..)

While the American Constitution promotes and even ensures freedom of choice, it does not in any measure protect any American from the consequences of their choices. In much the same way, where the Gospels promote toleration and brotherhood, Jesus would never have embraced religious teachings that promote lies set forth as being the words spoken by God.

That's exactly it, and how all my friends felt around our trans friends. They were demanding and narcissistic assholes too, nobody wanted to be around them it was just suffocating, but no one would say anything until they left the room, that is when we would laugh at the concept of two grown men pretending to be lesbians.

I've met maybe one chill/normal trans person in my life (and jesus christ I know they're out there) that didn't endlessly talk about how oppressed they were and about how "cis" women were jealous of them, I miss that person but they're long gone now...With most trans people though it's like needlessly coddling a child and people get tired of it, but we're supposed to worship peoples fetishes now instead of treating them like anyone else.

Quote# 133003

Once upon a time, cartoons were about coyotes that blew themselves up with sticks of dynamite and cats that would always be outsmarted by mice. But we live in a much different time now, and cartoons, much like virtually everything else in American society, have been infected by the cancer that is progressivism.

The Magic School Bus is a cartoon from the mid-1990s about a class of students and their teacher who go on all sorts of crazy adventures – from exploring the Milky Way to navigating through the human body – in their shape-shifting school bus. Although the show officially ended in 1997, it has been shown for educational purposes in classrooms across the country for years thereafter. Now, the popular video streaming service Netflix has launched a reboot of the series called The Magic School Bus Rides Again, and as you probably could have guessed, it is not without its fair share of liberal indoctrination.

Episode 10 of the series reboot is called “The Tales Glaciers Tell,” and if you think that an episode with a title like that is completely free from political bias or indoctrination, then you are sadly mistaken. In it, the teacher takes her class to a glacier and informs them that man’s inventions are causing pollution that is destroying the planet, and unless we do something about it, Earth will continue spiraling into a slow, miserable death. As a solution, the students in the episode are instructed to ride their bikes instead of riding in cars and to decrease the amount of electricity they use on a daily basis.

It doesn’t stop there, however. Two episodes later in episode 12, which is titled “Monster Power,” the students become terrified when they learn that they might be eaten by a pollution monster unless they use clean energy. Because everybody knows that the first thing kids want to see when they sit down for Saturday morning cartoons is a pollution monster threatening to come after a bunch of school kids unless they adopt an environmentally-friendly lifestyle.

But The Magic School Bus isn’t the only kids show that is working relentlessly to brainwash young people with far left rhetoric. Earlier this year, Netflix launched a reboot of the popular 90s show Bill Nye the Science Guy called Bill Nye Saves the World. In the very first episode of the reboot, viewers are warned about the dangers of climate change, and that unless we take immediate action, cute and innocent pandas will die off. (Related: Bill Nye has been slammed by real scientists for blaming hurricanes on climate change.)

Of course, those who understand the left and the games that they play know that the messages conveyed in both The Magic School Bus reboot and the Bill Nye the Science Guy reboot are just scare tactics, but to young, unsuspecting children, the threat of manmade climate change is very scary and very real. They don’t have any experience in politics, they don’t know that there are people out there who will lie to them for political gain, and chances are they can’t even pronounce the word propaganda let alone understand what it is. (Related: Climate change science implodes as the IPCC climate models are found to be totally wrong.)

The sad truth is that the liberals know full well that young people are easy targets, and that with just a few political messages injected into TV shows and cartoons, they can create an entire generation of left leaning, tree hugging leftists. Aside from potentially boycotting programs like The Magic School Bus and Bill Nye the Science Guy, the only real solution to this relentless liberal indoctrination is for parents to step in and teach their children the truth. The future of our country is on the line, and it is our responsibility to make sure that our children grow up knowing the difference between fact and political fiction.

James Martin should come out then and affirm rimming, fisting, anal and oral intercourse, coprphagia and golden showers - I apologize, but this is necessary. Sodomites deliberately avoid talking about the indignity of their actions, and hide it all under the umbrella of love.

They also advertise it in schools to children and via porn to all, and then claim that everybody does it. Yes, children now do it more requently for fear of being accused of bigotry and narrow-mindedness.

He should explain why semen would go in a rectum or a mouth, and why this would not be considered disordered and repulsive.

James Martin has been so brainwashed that he no longer understands - we do not have to act on impulse, some impulses have been implanted into our minds, and with this many have lost a natural repulsion against the undignified practices of sodomites.

We Catholics believe in a rational and virtuous upbringing of our children, and we believe in the sanctity of marriage. The things I mentioned above are not part of a respectful treatment of a spouse and do not belong in school instruction and on movie screens.

The 'fact' is that sodomy results in an immunological attack on the sperm deposited in the rectum which the mind experientially 'believes' is intrinisically disordered in a subconscious sense.

This applies to every human being. God in his mercy has promulgated this behavioural reality through his Church as it may be difficult for some to perceive or understand. Fr Martin is clearly someone who searches for evidence to 'justify' what he wants rather than seeking truth.

Lately I've been thinking about the scenario where there will be more transitioning (and subsequently sterile) children than there are ones who don't succumb to the pressure. As far as I know, haven't the ratios of Ls to Gs to Bs been conistent throughout the years? Obviously, if you go back a few decades it was not safe to be out. But this ratio has not really changed much in recent times.

The T ratio, however, is undergoing an explosion--which of course indicates what everyone here already knows: this is unnatural and a contagion. I believe eventually we will get to the point where transgender children will outnumber natal female/male children…maybe this will be the Transgender Tipping Point? Would this over time lead to significant population decreases due to an overwhelming amount of children being sterilized?

I do believe there are actual transgender people. In a perfect utopia, we wouldn't concern ourselves with things as trite as gender, but unfortunately we don't live in that world. However, it doesn't take much intelligence to start questioning why Mary became Marty in class, followed by Sarah being Seth or Billy becoming Bianca…

In an overly-sensualized culture it can be increasingly difficult to live a clean authentic Christian life.

Avoiding sexual temptation is a virtual impossibility these days, as dressing seductively has become the new norm, sex while dating is expected, and having multiple sexual partners is seen as a healthy alternative to long-term commitment in marriage: including among many Christians.

Even a trip to church on a Sunday can lead to massive amounts of repentance! What does one do when they desire to live right, but so much temptation abounds? Is there a way to break the cycle of temptation - and what is God's prescription for doing so successfully?

My ebook "Diva Goddess Queen: Breaking the Power of Soul Ties, Lust and Sexual Demons" will answer those questions for you...and more. This ebook is for men and women, and covers deep topics for the mature Christian audience such as:

* What are soul ties? How are they formed? And more importantly: how can they be broken?

* How your family ties and upbringing may have programmed you for promiscuity and relationship failure.

* The demonic portal that gets opened when we have sex outside of wedlock - and how to close that portal.

* How secular music, love songs, the 'quiet storm' and other sounds of today's culture are the soundtrack to sin that keep us bound to sexual sins and dysfunction in our relationships...and how to break that connection for good.

* How attending the wrong church can lead you deeper into sin instead of empowering you to overcome it.

* How masturbation can lead to serious spiritual problems; what those problems are and how to fix those problems immediately
...plus so much more.

God doesn't want us to be slaves to our sensual passions. He wants us to reign over our bodies, which glorifies Him as we serve Him. Download this powerful ebook right now! https://www.edendecoded.com/books/dgq1

Befriending them has a lot more negatives than positives. If it was something truly of benefit it would generally be regarded as normal and acceptable. Now keeping küffar between the stranger and friend zone is the best place. If we alienate all of the ummah from the non-Muslims this distorts a balance to humanity and is generally unnatural. If we befriend them and take them as close partners they can easily stray us from continuing on towards a better path.

For example its time to pray...but you are with your friend, who respects the fact you pray but not necessarily that it has a time window to do it in. Even the nicest non-Muslim will stray you into excessive time wasting and ideology changing.

Wasnt it Ali (r.a.) who had said Show me who your friends are and I can tell you of that person??? And as we say in America you are who your friends are. Theres no logic to maintaining relations with non-Muslims but completely outcasting ourselves isnt healthy either. Acquaintances seems to me to be the most logical.

Unless Muslims unite on Islam as in a single state with an imam following only Shariah and worshipping only Allah, then Muslims deserve to be disgraced and humiliated like Bani Israil. The problem of the Muslim countries is NOT culture- this is a symptom.

The problem is more fundamental: it's ideological. Muslims are intentionally obstructed from following and implementing Islam by the Tawaghit and their kufr regimes that rule on their behalf over us.

The OPer is from North Africa. All of thos nations function as satellites of Western powers. The absolute worst of them is Tunisia, then Morocco. They are led by secular nationalist regimes that have imposed kufr and corruption for decades without stopping ever since and behalf of their former colonial masters.

Muslims first end that that perpetuates kufr and fasad. Agreed. It is profoundly stupid, exhibiting self- hatred, bigotry, dishonesty, shallowness, ignorance, and worst of all, hypocricy.

You are being generous to the OPer. If someone wants to run away from his homeland to be with Americans and wave their flag, they justify by a post like the OP.

Quote# 132970

That’s right, Sheri. The Vietnam war was the first time that reporters took the side of the Left in a big, public way, and used propaganda and lies to push the anti-war narrative and divide the American nation.

Before the Vietnam war, the MSM (a much smaller MSM than now) reported the news fairly straight. No huge bias towards either Left or Right, although they were pro-Kennedy and anti-Nixon during the 1960 elections, but their criticisms of Nixon were very mild compared to today (they made fun of Nixon sweating profusely on camera during one of the debates), but they didn’t make up lies about Nixon to harm him, like they are doing today against Trump.

Kennedy won the election that year. Both Kennedy and Nixon were in support of the war in South Vietnam, fearing a communist “domino effect” that might spread to the whole of Southeast Asia and even India, if something wasn’t done to stop it. Communism, at that time, was on the march all over the globe. The Left and the MSM have never looked back after the Vietnam war, and have made demonizing the Right as their main focus of attention, in order to gain and keep political power.

And they have been doing this “propaganda and lies” against the Right ever since, culminating in the flood of lies being put forth by the MSM today, in order to demonize Trump, and the Right in general. I actually went to Vietnam because of the lies put out by the MSM. According to the MSM, the American military was barely hanging on by a thread in South Vietnam, and getting beaten at every turn, when they fought against what the MSM described as “the toughest soldiers in the world”, the North Vietnamese and South Vietnamese Viet Cong communists.

They called them that, as a method of discouraging Americans and to make Americans give up on the war. All the MSM reporting was focused on this goal throughout the war and continues to this day. Lies and propaganda are legitimate tools as far as the American Left is concerned. I haven’t seen one Vietnam documentary I would consider even half-way accurate. I haven’t seen the new 10-part series on Vietnam that was recently broadcase on tv yet, but I’m sure that when I do, I will be disapponted in the accuracy of the reporting. If I’m not, it would be the first time.

Remember, the Left owns most of the media, so don’t expect a fair accounting of the Vietnam war from them. If it were a fair accounting, it would be an indictment of the anti-war Left and the MSM, and they can’t have that, so they continue to lie about the Vietnam war all these years later. I was in the Army, stationed in Wildflecken, Germany, at this time, and I read these daily dire reports of failure by the U.S. in South Vietnam, and said to myself, this can’t be true, because if it were true, then my whole worldview was wrong, so I had to go see for myself because I had to know. So I volunteered to go to South Vietnam in May 1968.

When I got to South Vietnam, I found out that they were all lies and anti-war propaganda. The “toughest soldiers in the world’ were the American troops who kicked the hell out of the North Vietnamese troops and the Viet Cong, throughout the war. My worldview was the correct worldview after all. General Giap, the Supreme Commander of the North Vietnamese military, and the architect of the war strategy, told a reporter after the war, that the American troops won just about every battle in South Vietnam, but that didn’t matter because North Vietnam had the American anti-war Left and the MSM on their side. He was exactly right.

American troops defeated the North Vietnamese troops and the North Vietnamese finally came to the bargaining table, and after the Peace Accord was signed, South Vietnam was still there as a viable nation with a bright future ahead of it. Then the anit-war Left in the U.S. Congress just threw away all that blood, sweat, and tears expended in Vietnam, by refusing to come to South Vietnam’s aid after North Vietnam violated the Peace Agreement and again attacked South Vietnam in 1975.

The Left controlled Congress in those days, and it was right after Nixon had resigned over Watergate, so the Left felt imboldened and just turned their backs on South Vietnam and threw them to the wolves. Like Obama did to the Iraqis in 2011. In both cases, millions of innocent people were killed and displaced from their homes as a result. What is so ironic is that this last attack by North Vietnam in 1975, started out with them sending a large proportion of their fighting forces into northern, South Vietnam, to the point that they created gridlock with every highway, road, and trail jam-packed with North Vietnamese troops and military equipment frozen in place, and unable to move forward or backward, and they were sitting ducks for American B-52 bombers out of Guam.

The B-52’s could have spent about a week or two carpet bombing the stalled North Vietnamese forces and would have for all intents and purposes, wiped them out where they sat, and the war would have been over and North Vietnam would have been in very dire straights with most of their military destroyed. It would only have taken a short time (hours) to get the B-52’s over the enemy, but the American Left refused to come to the aid of South Vietnam, even though they were legally and morally obligated to do so.

My natural skepticism sent me to Vietnam. I found out that the MSM had been lying all along (like today) and that the MSM was biased, and were not above lying to push this political objective of getting the U.S. out of Vietnam. Up until then, I thought the MSM was telling it straight but I found out otherwise when I saw it for myself. I have been on a one-man crusade against the Left and especially the MSM, ever since. I know how dangerous their lies really are to our society and to our allies in the world. In other words, the Left and the MSM, and their lies, put U.S. national security at risk every day because they lie about the true situation.

American Leftists are incapable of defending U.S. national interests. They have proven it time after time, Obama being the latest example of the delusional thinking taking place in Leftist’s minds. The Iraq war was won, then Obama sat there and twiddled his thumbs while the Islamic Terror Army attacked and gained in strength and territory every day, displacing and killing millions of innocent people in the process.

Obama acted like an innocent bystander and never took any serious measures to stop the terroirsts. It was almost like he was on the terrorists side, not our side. So the big divisions in the U.S. did start during the Vietnam war, and the Left continues to divide us to this very day, epitomized again by Barack Obama and his racebaiting and identity politics. One bright spot is the public is on to the MSM now. They know they are a bunch of partisan, political liars. The Left and the MSM still have millions of people fooled, but there are millions more who are no longer fooled, Trump’s election demostrates this.

We should all get down on our knees and thank God that Trump got into Office. Only a person like him, vulgar and brash as he is, could take on the Left and the MSM successfully and win this battle. If he wins, we all win. We all need to stand up and fight the false narratives and distorted realities put out by the Left and the MSM, if we value our personal freedoms.

Is it, perhaps, because the catastrophic warming clique don’t believe their claims any more than the most ardent deniers? it’s pretty hard to explain the continued wide spread opposition to nuclear and geothermal power generation of anyone who really believes carbon dioxide is a problem.

Think about it… If they really believed in catastrophic climate change they could have started being honest about nuclear power 30 years ago. By now carbon dioxide emissions would be far lower than the best case scenario of the Paris agreement, just from the gradual replacement of fossil fired generation.

It seems the only conclusion is that Al Gore and his supporters are in fact “Climate Deniers.” If they believed their doomsday scenarios they would be behaving differently. They would be trying to solve the problem instead of trying to silence opposition.

Bjorn,

Given that oppression and smears are what passes for ‘evidence’ in the climate science world, why do you keep ‘believing’?

It seems obvious to me that the original evidence which seemed fairly compelling should be re-examined in the light of the undoubted fraudulent nature of later climate science activities. And that the inability of climate scientists to show that climatic variation is in any way different from natural variation means that believing in man-made climate change is an act of faith rather than science.

That is why you and all the other scientists are being attacked. Climate Change is about faith. And to question any aspect of the faith is heresy…

is there anything like this, but for older kids....https://www.christia...ustomer_reviews

I have looked on Answers In Genesis and they only have books to read or DVD's to watch....but I am looking for something with a workbook or worksheets.

My kids have enjoyed listening to the Jonathan Park stories and have found they enjoy learning about creation science. But being in High School we need to step it up a bit, but not a super hard class....this is more of an elective.

thanks.

As 'Son of Rambow' prepares to wow cinema audiences, Alex Hannaford examines the Plymouth Brethren, the movement whose stringent rules shape the life of the hero. Most of us can recall the thrill of seeing our first action-packed film. For Will Proudlock, the boy hero of the new Garth Jennings movie Son of Rambow, the effect is intensified, as his illicit viewing of a Sylvester Stallone film is his first sight of a moving picture.

Will belongs to a Plymouth Brethren family, and listening to music, watching television or seeing films are all forbidden to members of the reclusive religious sect. Seeing Rambo is therefore a life-changing experience for Will. The Brethren were not in Jennings's original script for the film, set in the 1980s and based on the director's own Essex childhood, and which proved a smash hit at the Sundance Film Festival. But both Jennings and producer Nick Goldsmith knew something was missing.

"It's really hard to show the impact that movies can have on a kid," Jennings says, "but I lived next door to a Plymouth Brethren family for 25 years, and by moving the story next door it captured the qualities we were looking for."

Jennings has not set out to paint a bad picture of the Brethren. "No one is evil in the film, but religion is one of the things that holds this character back. "Although we'd found our plot, it also opened up a can of worms because the Plymouth Brethren is a very secret society. Although I lived next door to them, they kept to themselves and it took a lot of investigation to find out more."

The Plymouth Brethren was started by law student John Nelson Darby in the early 1800s after he broke away from the Anglican Church in Ireland. A gathering in Plymouth, Devon, in 1832, gave the sect its name, but 10 years later, the group itself split into 'Exclusive Brethren' and 'Open Brethren' - the former being much stricter.

A relative of Jennings's taught at an Exclusive Brethren school and the director used him to build a clearer picture of life behind closed Brethren doors. "I found out loads of little details," Jennings says. "The Exclusive Brethren shun pretty much everything that could be a distraction from serving God, including television, film, literature and pop music. They are not whacky, but they do take their beliefs very seriously and follow a strict moral code.

"When I was growing up in the 1980s, video and computers hadn't saturated our lives like they have now. It must be much harder to 'opt out' these days. You'd be constantly battling against the evils the rest of us indulge in.

"There are quite a lot of ex-Brethren, casualties I suppose, families that have been pulled apart. Once you've left that's it: if your family are still in the Brethren you're not allowed contact with them." One example is David (not his real name), 56, who left the Exclusive Brethren in the early 1970s after a new leader began introducing stricter rules. The leader's behaviour also raised alarm bells.

"In my first 10 years the Brethren were a happy group," David says. "Friends and relatives who were non-Brethren were allowed to stay with us and we could eat with them, but in the early 1960s an American named Jim Taylor forced his way to the top and began 'separation'." Separation meant sect members must keep away from anyone who didn't follow the Exclusive teaching.

They weren't allowed to make friends or eat ("break bread") with anyone outside the church. "Suddenly, we had to cut off any contact with our cousins," David continues. "They were dead to us. There was no cinema, no joining in with prayers at regular schools, no going round to friends' houses. It was all to do with the orders of Jim Taylor.

"In 1970, Taylor started sleeping with another sect wife. He claimed he was a pure man, but there was an Exclusive Brethren gathering in Aberdeen and he appeared on stage obviously drunk. After that there was a split in the group." In the following two years, about 8,000 Exclusives left, but a large number remained.

"My wife and I left, but my eldest brother and some uncles and aunts stayed and cut off contact with us," says David. "Taylor effectively radicalised the Brethren. It was always strict, but he made it worse. "My eldest brother rarely talks to me, though we live in the same town. At my father's funeral, last year, he stood 100 yards away from everyone else. If I see him in the street and he's on his own, he'll raise his hand. If his wife is with him, he'll ignore me. I'm just sad for them. They're missing out on so much."

Today, the leader of the Exclusive Brethren is an Australian, Bruce Hales, who inherited the job from his father, John. There are now about 46,000 Exclusive members worldwide. In the early 1990s, questionnaires were sent to 300 former Exclusives around the world, 200 of which were returned completed. Of these, 76 per cent felt a sense of loss in leaving close friends behind. Half were plagued by upsetting memories of their days in the Exclusives.

A spokesperson for Peebs.net - an information website set up to 'investigate and report the truth behind the Exclusive Brethren' - says: "We've been following Son of Rambow since it was shown at the Sundance Film Festival?… shame no active Exclusive Brethren will be allowed to see the movie." That's one of the reasons why Jennings isn't worried about a potential Brethren backlash. "I don't feel conniving about it, but it is a point. They'll never see it.

"Besides, you could see our film as a statement on the corrupting power of television. I see it as something completely different - that by shutting people off from certain things, you're not really educating them. "While it may be right for some people, it can't be right for everyone and it certainly isn't right for the boy in the film."

Cult leader Jim Roberts is dead. He died in Denver during December according to an official coroner’s report obtained by a member of the Cult Education Institute (CEI) message board. Roberts ruled with absolute authority over his small flock of followers, which probably never numbered much more than a hundred core members.

The relatively obscure group often drew attention because of its bizarre behavior. Known as both “The Brethren” and “The Brothers and Sisters” the group was also frequently called the “garbage eaters” due to its practice of feeding from garbage dumpsters. The nomadic cult recruited on college campuses and was the subject of news reports when students that joined suddenly vanished.

Roberts, a former Marine, known to his followers as “The Elder” or “Brother Evangelist,” lived a very secretive life and was rarely photographed. In 1998 an ABC News crew, led by journalist Dianne Sawyer, managed to confront him. Roberts subsequently refused to answer questions and quickly ran away.

Roberts was pronounced dead on December 6, 2015 at 6:59 AM. The likely cause of death was cancer. Cult members identified the body and claimed that Jim Roberts had not seen a doctor in 40 years. Upon his death Roberts, who was 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighed 105 pounds and was clothed in a green T-shirt, khaki trousers and an adult diaper. Authorities obtained fingerprints and digital photographs.

Followers in the Roberts group often “suffered health problems” that could have been cured through modern medicine. Instead at times they died due to medical neglect. One reportedly passed away from pneumonia.

The Roberts group claimed to be based upon the bible, but was known for encouraging its members to terminate contact with family with and old friends. Members then wandered from place to place under Roberts’s guidance fund raising and attempting to persuade people to join the group. Cult members lived largely from charity and whatever food they could find, much like homeless people. One former member explained that Roberts “weaseled his way into control until next thing you knew he was running every aspect of your life.” Another former member described Roberts as a “paranoid megalomaniac.”

Quote# 132960

I believe the message of the AiG ministry has been very “prophetic.” Even when I began teaching on creation vs. evolution back in 1975, I was already asserting that atheistic evolution and morality were connected and that, over time, immorality would grow as people rejected God’s Word and accepted evolution.

I taught that the more people believed that life arose by natural processes, the more they would also believe that life was ultimately meaningless and purposeless—and morality could be whatever a person determined. Or, as Judges 21:25 states, when there was no king (or absolute authority) in the land, “everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” The late Dr. Henry Morris (considered the father of the modern biblical creation movement) had also been writing about this connection between evolution and morality in most of his early books.

Over the decades, evolutionists have often mocked me for tying evolution to morality. They claim that evolution has to do with “science,” not morality. But notice that as generations have been indoctrinated into believing naturalistic evolution, Christian morality has declined. Armed with so-called “science,” secularists have become bolder in opposing Christian morality.

In our Western world, we are seeing more and more people (like Bill Nye “the Science Guy”) who boldly claim that evolution is “science” and are using it to promote an anti-Christian worldview. More than ever, secular activists are vehemently opposing Christian morality, such as marriage being between one man and one woman and abortion being murder. And we are seeing very amoral and immoral behavior growing across the culture, especially, it seems, among the millennial generation. While we do not argue that evolution directly causes immorality, people can use Darwinian thinking to justify their behavior.

Now, it’s a challenge to read Charles Darwin’s books like On the Origin of Species and The Descent of Man. His writing can be very convoluted and difficult to follow. But what is clear is that Darwin believed humans are not special as the Bible states (i.e., made in God’s image), but just animals. As a result, he declared that morality was a result of evolution, shaping man into a highly social species through the process of natural selection. In The Descent of Man, Darwin wrote, “Nevertheless, the difference in mind between man and the higher animals, great as it is, certainly is one of degree and not of kind.”

My point is that there has always been a connection between evolution and morality. Over the years, I’ve heard many evolutionists (like Bill Nye) and even some Christians claim that evolution is all about “science.” They vigorously rejected my insistence that evolution involved a worldview that helps build a relative/subjective morality. That’s why many people were shocked (though I wasn’t at all) when Bill Nye released his new series on Netflix that pushes shocking immorality and is sometimes anti-Christian.

Kids and adults enjoyed Nye’s TV series years ago where he did lots of fun things to teach science. Even if you watched his series back then, you would have noticed how he promoted evolutionary ideas in biology and geology. But he did it in such a way that most children would not have really noticed—and many parents probably didn’t see those pro-evolution sections. But kids were subtly indoctrinated. Even before his famous “Science Guy” program, Bill Nye had his television debut when he performed a comedy routine. It included a number of sexual innuendos.

For the many of you who saw my 2014 debate with Bill Nye (available uncut online or as a DVD), you will remember how I emphasized that the creation vs. evolution issue was actually a clash of two worldviews. Nye rejected this, of course, claiming I was the one who was talking about religion, but he was all about “science.”

In that debate I revealed the connection between naturalistic evolutionary beliefs and morality. Nye totally rejected this view. But people are now starting to see that what I stated in the debate is now being played out before their very eyes.

A recent article in the Christian Post reported (please excuse the crudeness):

On his Netflix show “Bill Nye Saves the World” on Sunday, the man famous for his 1990s series “Bill Nye the Science Guy” cheerily featured “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” star Rachel Bloom performing a lewd number called “My Sex Junk” and a video called “Ice Cream Sexuality,” a clear derision of Christian sexual ethics.

Nye’s new show occasionally references science and scientific language with the purpose of promoting left-wing causes.
Michelle Cretella, president of the American College of Pediatricians, told the Christian Post, "These sad videos prove that atheistic Darwinians are so committed to blind faith that they very well may be invincibly ignorant.”

But really, this is what the belief in naturalistic evolution has always been about! I’m sure many of you have heard of the book Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. He was an English novelist and grandson of the famous contemporary of Darwin, Thomas Huxley. Thomas Huxley was known as “Darwin’s bulldog,” who, as an aggressive secular humanist, heavily promoted Darwin’s evolutionary ideas. He clearly saw Darwin’s naturalistic evolution as a justification for his secular humanist worldview.

Encyclopedia Britannica states the following about Brave New World: “The novel presents a nightmarish vision of a future society in which psychological conditioning forms the basis for a scientifically determined and immutable caste system that, in turn, obliterates the individual and grants all control to the World State.”

In 1937, Aldous Huxley made this statement in his book Ends and Means:

For myself, as, no doubt, for most of my contemporaries, the philosophy of meaninglessness was essentially an instrument of liberation. The liberation we desired was simultaneously liberation from a certain political and economic system and liberation from a certain system of morality.

We objected to the morality because it interfered with our sexual freedom; we objected to the political and economic system because it was unjust. The supporters of these systems claimed that in some way they embodied the meaning (a Christian meaning, they insisted) of the world.

There was one admirably simple method of confuting these people and at the same time justifying ourselves in our political and erotic revolt: we could deny that the world had any meaning whatsoever. We’ve often said that this worldview struggle is ultimately one that started in the Garden of Eden over 6,000 years ago. It’s a battle between God’s Word and man’s word—a battle between two worldview religions. Answers in Genesis has been involved in this struggle for 23 years. It’s the battle our Creation Museum and Ark Encounter are engaged in.

And the only way to ultimately win this struggle is for people to be redeemed by the blood of the Lamb: “knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot” (1 Peter 1:18–19).

This is why the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter exist. As we answer questions that will point people to the truth of God’s Word, we also clearly present them with the gospel. We’ve never hidden the fact that evangelism is our ultimate purpose—which is why we receive so much opposition from secularists. At the Creation Museum we present the saving gospel in different ways. That includes the stunning movie The Last Adam and the powerful new exhibit Christ, Cross, Consummation. We also make evangelistic tracts available free to our guests.

At the Ark Encounter, the gospel is featured in a number of ways including through the new movie As in the Days of Noah. The gospel is also powerfully shown in the massive exhibit Why the Bible Is True, with a graphic-novel approach. In that exhibit, we walk guests through the various “doors” of Scripture and then challenge visitors to go through the most important “door,” the Lord Jesus Christ.

We have just created a new gospel-witnessing tract on the “doors” of Scripture. It has been produced in conjunction with our new Ark exhibit, and we freely offer it to each guest who wants one at the Ark Encounter. I’m very excited about this new resource. It’s one more evangelistic tool to share the gospel at the Ark Encounter. And now you can order this “Doors of the Bible” tract from our online store and share it with someone who needs to hear the gospel.

I ask that you pray for the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum outreaches. Everything we do at Answers in Genesis is for the ultimate purpose of sharing the life-changing message of the gospel. And it is through your prayers and support that you are enabling AiG to continue all its many vital outreaches—to impact millions of souls for the kingdom of Christ while countering anti-Christian influences, like Bill Nye.

Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullah

Music doesnt feed your emotions, its exactly the opposite. When you listen to sad music, you become sad. When you listen to angry music, you become mad. When you listen to joyous music, you become happy, etc etc.

This altering affect it has on the mood makes it haram. Any thing that can disturb your natural being, like alcohol and drugs, are forbidden in Islam. Why should you be sad when you can be happy? Just because a song has that mood? It controls how you feel to a certain point, which is why it is haram.

Think about it, when you watch a scary movie on mute, its almost ridiculous. With the sound, the atmosphere changes and the situation all of a sudden becomes more dramatic. It is also VERRRRRRRRY addicting, just like alcohol can be...

Quote# 132957

It’s a secret society that claims its followers descended from a “master Aryan race” on Atlantis and that humans once lived on the moon. Homosexuality is banned, corporal punishment encouraged and members atone for bad karma in past lives. Young women, denied higher education, are often married off to older men in the group, former members say.

Some male devotees have undergone weapons training to prepare for the end of the world, which is coming soon. But this doomsday cult isn’t hidden away in some rural bunker — it operates out of a brownstone in Murray Hill.

Every Thursday evening, dozens of congregants line up on East 35th Street for the group’s weekly meeting. Their leader of the flock, Tom Baer, 73, preaches from the center of the room, reading from pieces of paper. Members don’t have religious texts to follow along and aren’t allowed to take notes. In official documents, the tax-exempt church is called Congregation for the Light. To members, it’s just “the Light.”

The group has about 200 members in New York, and there are congregations in Washington, DC, and Atlanta, Baer and ex-followers say.

“It’s the cult next door to every New Yorker, and no one even knows that it’s there,” said an exiled member.

The former worshiper, a Manhattan woman who spoke on the condition of anonymity because she fears retribution, joined the group in 2003 while dating a man who was raised in it. “I totally wanted to know what was going on,” she said, adding that her boyfriend assured her it was “nothing creepy .?.?. just the basic tenets of all religions.”

The deeper she got, the more skeptical she became. Baer spoke to her of battling evil people in lucid dreams and how cancer and other illnesses were the result of karma, not health habits, genetics or environment. She noted Baer’s repeated, odd mispronunciation of “awry” as “ow-ree.”

The Light dates back to at least the 1960s and has met in Murray Hill since the ’70s, though members are taught that the church dates to the 19th century. Much of what the group believes is shrouded in secrecy, though former members say it has a lot to do with karma, reincarnation and the end of the human race.

The former worshiper was shocked that attendance at weekly meetings was mandatory; absences for vacation or higher education were not excused. When she asked a fellow member if her teenage daughter would attend Harvard or Yale, the woman responded: “What are you talking about? She’ll go to a local community college. She has to attend Thursday night meetings.”

She was warned not to share the Light with others, and she kept her membership secret from her closest friends.

“Everything is ambiguous,” she said. “And if you ask, you’re told, ‘You just don’t remember. You’ll remember when you’re supposed to .?.?. Try to control your dreams, and tonight you’ll remember a symbol.’?”

But she wouldn’t stop asking questions.

During a meeting at the end of the year, everyone was handed a white envelope — except for her. The next day, she joined her boyfriend, who had since become her fiancé, and his parents for dinner.

The food wasn’t even served before her fiancé’s mother stood at the table and announced: “If you think you’re marrying him, you’re nuts. I remember you from 10,000 years ago, and you tried to bring down the Light. “We are launching a spiritual intervention to save his soul,” the would-be mother-in-law said.

Shattered, the young woman was driven home and told never to speak to her fiancé again. Two months later, he was married off to a fellow Light member. The white envelopes had been invitations to a special meeting to sabotage her engagement to the man who brought her into the Light in the first place. “I felt like I was in a movie,” she recalled. “I didn’t realize the kind of power Tom [Baer] had. That the Light had.”

Paul Arthur Miller was 18 when he found himself among a dozen young men in a secluded nook of the Adirondack Mountains. He had received instructions on what to pack for the three-day trip reserved only for elite members of the “Light Patrol.” The troop was led by two believers, ex-Army paratroopers who taught the youngsters how to track footprints, the basics of camping and other survival skills.

He didn’t realize the training would include firing M14 automatic rifles into an abandoned junk heap or training in hand-to-hand combat in preparation for the apocalypse. “The belief is that Planet Earth will be ending soon and we would have to defend our people and safeguard our food and supplies,” recalled Miller, now a 58-year-old West Village writer.

“They changed the doomsday date at least twice,” he said. “We were told it was imminent, weeks or months. People in the cult wouldn’t have dental work done because they thought, ‘Why bother?’?”

Miller was born into the group and worked 17 years for Baer’s furniture company in Harrison, Westchester County, which employed many Light members. “I felt like a prisoner,” Miller said. “I felt like an indentured slave.” He stayed through the tenures of two Light leaders across 30 years — each with his own agendas and “personal beliefs.”

Morris Kates, chairman during the 1960s and ’70s, taught Miller that once the world ended, people would be reincarnated on another planet called “Nay.” There, they would be one gender — and have no stomachs. Joseph Denton, Kates’ successor and a former Southern Baptist, tried banning the Internet and some TV.

Baer took the reins when Denton died in 2001. He had married into the Light in the 1960s after hitching a ride with a Westchester-bound follower and meeting his future wife.

Miller said the three leaders had one thing in common — they tried to erase his homosexuality, which they considered “a hangover from the Roman Empire.” He was ordered to date women in the Light. After one meeting, Kates cornered him and said, “Who is this guy who comes to stay with you on weekends? Is he a faggot?”

Miller was ordered to dump his boyfriend and to begin dating a woman in the Light. He saw her on and off for five years to keep up appearances Despite this, Miller said he was a favorite of Kates, who used to announce during weekly lectures, “Paul and I have been friends for thousands and thousands of lives.”

The meetings would begin in the brownstone’s ground-floor auditorium around 7?p.m., when Kates announced, “Greetings, friends.” The teachings are rooted in 19th-century England, ex-followers and Baer say, where a husband and wife — known only as “the Wyeths” — woke from the same dream and wrote down the karmic tenets and symbols they remembered.

“They don’t give you any sources. There’s no dogma you can reference. It’s just word of mouth,” an ex-member said. “You just believe what you’re told.” The Light chairman instructs followers to obsessively look for symbols in dreams and their everyday lives.

Ex-members told The Post they couldn’t even have artwork or bric-a-brac in their homes unless it contained one of the signs, which include an “owl,” or watcher protecting Light members, and a cross with an “X,” the group’s greeting sign.

“They’re brainwashed. They’re obsessed,” said Miller, who is writing a screenplay on his experience in the Light. Members aren’t allowed to associate with “know-nots,” the term for people who aren’t in the Light.

“You were always told if you leave the Light, you’re subjected to evil .?.?. because you don’t have protection,” Miller said.

Miller finally worked up the courage to leave the group in the 1990s. The last straw was a member spying on him as he dined with a male suitor. “How dare you be seen in a restaurant frequented by the Light with that blatant homosexual?” the member seethed.

Miller left a letter in Denton’s mailbox notifying him he was done. His parents left six months later. “My dad [later] apologized for getting us into this thing,” he said. He is estranged from his three sisters, who are still in the group. “I didn’t start living until I left the Light,” Miller said. “I want people to know it’s OK to leave, to reclaim their independence of thought and pursue their own life dreams.”

Another ex-follower, who requested anonymity, said he was booted from his home at age 15 because he questioned the teachings and refused to throw away his Black Sabbath records. “They believe in a master Aryan race .?.?. that lived on Atlantis,” he said, adding that black, red and yellow races existed, but a blue race was wiped out. “Once you get to a certain level, they start to tell you these things.

“They think they are otherworldly,” he added. “They carry themselves like they’re robotic .?.?. they’re not of this Earth, everything else is filth and [they] don’t want to associate.” He endured brutal beatings by his parents, who he believes were instructed by Kates. “I had this reputation of being a bad kid when I wasn’t,” said the ex-member. “I was an abused kid.”

His mother was told she was Kates’ daughter on Atlantis 10,000 years ago and believed she was a high priestess of the Light. “Everybody is brainwashed in this thing,” he said. “They’re conditioned to think and behave in a certain way, and it starts in childhood. Children are taught to fear.” The Light also teaches that children aren’t human until they reach the age of 13, he said.

The Light’s solution to his sister’s rebelliousness was to marry her off to a church bachelor in his 40s. “She was a gorgeous 19-year-old, and they married her off to this schlub,” the ex-member said. He said he struggled with post-traumatic stress disorder because of his upbringing in the group.

“If they want to clear their name of suspicion, they need to start answering questions,” he said. “They should maybe have a sign out in front of their building if they’re listed as a church.”

Another ex-member said he and his mother were forced to put money in a wooden box by the entrance before they jumped ship in the late ’70s. He remembers Kates announcing the group would incorporate as a church to get tax breaks. Shortly after, the member was kicked out for marrying a Catholic woman who refused to join the Light.

“There was always so much turmoil when someone chose a partner from the outside world,” he said, adding that parents often married their children off to other members in the group. “It was not uncommon for girls as young as 18 marrying .?.?. men who were quite a bit older,” he said.

The exiled follower said it took many years for him to get over the experience and that he has never shared more than superficial details with his adult children. “It still stands out as the worst time of my entire life,” he said. “But I was … fortunate enough to have people still in my life that loved me and helped me through it.”

Baer, a charming and sharply dressed man who uses a cane and believes he was an Apache in a past life, denies the group is a “cult.” “We’re not a religion. We’re what a church should be,” said the Ohio native. “The principles are to have a decent, sane and healthy life and to be responsible for our own actions.

We’re not a religion. We’re what a church should be. “You can’t do that in one life,” he added. “It’s impossible.”

Baer denied that the group supports corporal punishment, but said, “If I want to spank my kids, it’s no one else’s business .?.?. Even Jesus said, ‘Spare the rod and spoil the child.’ But it’s not what you do first.” The preacher said children aren’t indoctrinated until they are teens and that if a child dies before age 13, it’s because they committed suicide in a previous life.

Congregation for the Light runs a nonprofit named after Kates, who died in the late 1970s. The foundation’s address is at a Brooklyn auto shop. The group’s revenues were $116,860 in 2012 and $338,429 in 2011, tax forms show. The documents reveal a vague accounting of expenses, which include $84,000 for “totally physically and mentally disabled, total care, assistance for nurses’ aides.”

Baer, who lives on an upper floor of the Light’s brownstone, said the nonprofit gets 10 percent of its funds from donations and the rest from estates when members die. The group pays for members who are down on their luck and for their home care. “It’s not a cult. It’s not a scam,” Baer said. “You can come 3,000 times and you’re not going to have to pay a dime.”
