Falun Dafa has been well known for its extraordinary healing power. In my more than two decades of cultivation, I have witnessed this power over and over again. My mother started practicing Falun Dafa in 1995. She was hit by a car in 2004 when she crossed a street, and was thrown into the air. She landed in front of the wheels. Fortunately, the car stopped just in time.
Master, the founder of Falun Dafa, said:
“All of these kinds of things come to take away one’s life. But one will not be in real danger.” (Zhuan Falun)
My mother had strong righteous thoughts. She got up and said to the driver, “As a Dafa practitioner, I will not cause any problem for you. I know you are in a hurry. You can leave.” However, the driver insisted she have a check up at a hospital. She was told that she had two torn ligaments that needed immediate surgery.
Master said:
“In doing so, we also do not allow it to go astray. If you truly follow the righteous way in cultivation, nobody will dare to do something to you at will. Besides, you have the protection of my fashen, and you will not be in any danger.” (Zhuan Falun)
My mother told the doctor, “I am a practitioner. The wounds will heal once I do the Falun Dafa exercises.” She checked out of the hospital and went home. My mother recovered soon after her return home. Then, she visited the driver to show him that she had recovered. His entire family listened to the facts about Dafa and the persecution. They all quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
I was illegally detained in labor camp in 2003 and my mother left home to avoid further persecution. While we were gone, my father was diagnosed with leukemia. My father, at the age of 58, had chemotherapy and other treatments for two years, but his condition worsened. My mother told him that only Falun Dafa could help him recover. With a ray of hope, he started to practice Falun Dafa.
He tossed out all his medication, and quit smoking and drinking. He studied the Fa and practiced the Dafa exercises. He felt better day by day and returned to good health in less than one month. My uncle, who did not believe in the power of Dafa, witnessed my father's recovery. Now he tells everyone that Falun Dafa is good.
When giving birth by a Cesarean section, I had a life and death experience. The doctors could not stop the bleeding and I needed a blood transfusion. However, the blood was not readily available. Although my family was deeply disturbed, my mother decided that only what Master says counts. They asked Master to stop the bleeding. I silently recited “Falun Dafa is Good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is Good.” The bleeding stopped.
Master said:
“When disciples have ample righteous thoughts, Master has the power to turn back the tide.”
