Inmates in White County, Tennessee have been given credit for their jail time if they voluntarily agree to have a vasectomy or birth control implant, a popular new program that is being called “unconstitutional” by the ACLU.

On May 15, 2017 General Sessions Judge Sam Benningfield signed a standing order that allows inmates to receive 30 days credit toward jail time if they undergo a birth control procedure.

Women who volunteer to participate in the program are given a free Nexplanon implant in their arm, the implant helps prevent pregnancies for up to four years. Men who volunteer to participate are given a vasectomy, free of charge, by the Tennessee Department of Health.

County officials said that since the program began a few months ago 32 women have gotten the Nexplananon implant and 38 men were waiting to have the vasectomy procedure performed.

Judge Benningfield told NewsChannel 5 that he was trying to break a vicious cycle of repeat offenders who constantly come into his courtroom on drug related charges, subsequently can’t afford child support and have trouble finding jobs.

“I hope to encourage them to take personal responsibility and give them a chance, when they do get out, to not to be burdened with children. This gives them a chance to get on their feet and make something of themselves,” Judge Benningfield said in an interview.

First elected in 1998, Judge Benningfield decided to implement the program after speaking with officials at the Tennessee Department of Health.

“I understand it won’t be entirely successful but if you reach two or three people, maybe that’s two or three kids not being born under the influence of drugs. I see it as a win, win,” he added.
Inmates in the White County jail were also given two days credit toward their jail sentence if they complete a State of Tennessee, Department of Health Neonatal Syndrome Education Program. The class aimed to educate those who are incarcerated about the dangers of having children while under the influence of drugs.

“Hopefully while they’re staying here we rehabilitate them so they never come back,” the judge said.

District Attorney Bryant Dunaway, who oversees prosecution of cases in White County is worried the program may be unethical and possibly illegal.

“It’s concerning to me, my office doesn’t support this order,” Dunaway said.

“It’s comprehensible that an 18-year-old gets this done, it can’t get reversed and then that impacts the rest of their life,” he added.

On Wednesday, the ACLU released this statement on the program:

"Offering a so-called 'choice' between jail time and coerced contraception or sterilization is unconstitutional. Such a choice violates the fundamental constitutional right to reproductive autonomy and bodily integrity by interfering with the intimate decision of whether and when to have a child, imposing an intrusive medical procedure on individuals who are not in a position to reject it. Judges play an important role in our community – overseeing individuals’ childbearing capacity should not be part of that role."

I always marvel when saints attempt to debate scripture with nonbelievers. It's as if the two are speaking two different languages and that is because biblically the carnal man does not understand spiritual matters. Reprobates read the Holy Bible seeking something to attack God and Christians with, but the believer reads the Holy Bible to learn of God and draw nigh unto Him. Typically in those exchanges the unbeliever posts an off topic/out of context scripture that usually includes an insult/jab at saints and Jesus Christ. Then the believer tries to make sense of the unbelievers outrageous/off topic/out of context twisting of scripture (note, this is usually an intentional red herring) and continue on topic in an attempt to bring a lost person to Jesus Christ. If entertained, this ultimately changes the topic and gets away from the topic of salvation to some silly outrageous/off topic/out of context twisted exchange on eating shellfish, bigamy or mixing fabrics (note, it is always an Old Testament something that has been done away with and clarified in the New Testament (note the New Testament contradicts that shellfish thing as well as their other distractions (proving they have not searched the scripture for truth, but are simply regurgitating an off topic/out of context scripture to stop the discussion topic, i.e., threadjack): 1 Timothy 4, Matthew 15:11: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man, and that each man should have his OWN wife {singular}, etc.).

I offer that the reprobate, led by the enemy, intentionally tries to discredit scripture/God's truth. He is hoping that the Christian casting pearls before him is weak/not confident in his faith so that he (the reprobate) may sow confusion and cause others to doubt God's truth and compromise, i.e., sell the truth and buy a lie. But, Lord forbid. We are fully persuaded in Jesus name.

Clearly, there is NO explaining their confusion in the natural. Outside the internet, I have always kept quiet about my reasons to refuse to consume meat, eat sushi, wear leather shoes or eat jello. I have never wanted to be the "militant vegan" - people would offer me bacon doughnuts or meat lovers pizza and I would smile and say "no thank you" - fuck - I would even lie saying "I'm already full" as my reason in order to avoid any conversation about the realities of animal exploitation with friends, strangers and people from work.

Attempting to approach the subject rationally, scientifically, with real data from public sources like the FDA or a large University still devolved into the meat eaters yelling pseudoscience ("plants scream when you eat them") and anti-intellectualism ("yeah, but bacon! But the truth is, I think we may be approaching a point of no-return: in which no one -meat eater or vegan- will be able to run nor hide.
The oceans are becoming polluted and acidic while the sum of humanity feeds upon the delicate eco-system within. If the oceans collapse - we may risk losing the largest oxygen producer on the planet: phytoplankton, which contribute between 50 to 85 percent of the oxygen in Earth’s atmosphere
Around 1.4 billion cows emit methane which, pound for pound, has an impact on global warming 25 times greater than CO2 over a 100-year period.

80 percent of all antibiotics sold in the United States are for use on livestock and poultry, not humans. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a antibiotic resistant bacteria which I have personally seen outbreak at my town's hospital. How long before a super resistant strain evolves from extreme exposure to antibiotics in livestock? If life uh... finds a way- then I don't want to be anywhere near the evolution of a new bacteria.

Population expansion: As worldwide population increases, we could begin to see wars fought solely over fresh water. If we look at California we might be seeing our first glimpse at a disturbing future. First we must recognize a few scientific realities:
1 - 10x more people can be fed on one unit of land with a vegan diet than the current omnivore diet.
2 - 47% of water in California goes to animal agriculture.
3 - Climate change, and specifically the trapping of heat in the atmosphere through carbon and methane is real.
1960- 3 Billion humans. 1990- 5.2 Billion humans. 2014- 7 Billion humans.

So if trends continue, could we see a drought and famine stricken India invade Bangladesh to get to the Brahmaputra River? Will Thailand, Burma and Cambodia attempt gorilla warfare with China over the disappearing Mekong River when their populations start starving? Will more nations follow suit as population growth next to the inefficiency of meat eating unintentionally promote famines?

The more I study the more it becomes clear that humanity is running the most dangerous experiments in the history of the world: How much carbon and methane can we pump into our atmosphere before the life support systems on our planet fail? How much antibiotics can we pump into for-food animals before a dangerous microbe evolves from them? How much can the 196 perfectly regulated countries of the world fish the 140 million square miles of ocean before a key link in the oceans eco-systems upsets the balance and we see phytoplankton die offs? How much rainforest do we need to destroy to produce soybeans to feed for-food animals before we see a dust bowl disaster a la the 1930's?

I do not think we are at a point of no return. But we must guard ourselves in the knowledge that the point of no return won't be some super loud event like seeing a massive asteroid in the sky. It will be sitting in the office on some idle Tuesday, sipping coffee, and typing up some fictional report for a fictional corporation - while the ecosystem - the real life out there silently tips over the breaking point. We won't get a text alert. No memo.

It will be as silent as the last Dodo bird dying. When is that point of no return: 100 years from now? 50? 10? I have no clue. But I think we are all in the same boat. And if we don't all agree that the current is taking us away from shore - there will be a point in which - no matter how hard we try to paddle - there will be no possibility of making it back to shore.

So - are we coming to the end of the Neutral Vegan? Am I insane? Are the vegan redditors that say "It's just a diet! I eat plants my boyfriend eats meat" unmistaken? Or are we on an express elevator to hell - in which silence toward and the acceptance of meat in society will lead to the demise of our species. Will mother nature go door to door doing surveys of who promoted the imbalance and give sanction to all the vegans or kill humanity in entirety?

Will we be laying in bed dying naturally of old age 50 years from now while the tempest of a dust storm blows outside the house, whispering that the luxury of death by old age will not be given to the children gathered around our bed?
Or maybe those silent vegans like me can start calmly, patiently talking about the importance of veganism. With patience, a cool-headed approach, and small doses of reality... maybe we can change course.

This just makes me confused, because I personally don't understand how you can be really good friends with someone who eats animals. It's like being friends with someone who kicks their dog, only it's not just hurting the dog, it's literally destroying the planet. Personally, I am on the hunt for non-religious plant-based friendships, because those are the only people I can respect and see in a positive light.

Of course I understand it's a process, and I take pride in planting seeds along my journey, but someone who outright refuses to educate themselves and denies what I say and acts like I'm ridiculous; those people are not people I could ever consider friends. I love all my vegan brothers and sisters, but we need to break through this complacency. Being vegan is not enough. Boycotting is not enough. Not taking part in the mass-murder of innocent beings is incredibly important, of course, but it is merely the moral minimum.
Far too much time and effort is dedicated to not rocking the boat with meat-eaters.

Trying to avoid upsetting someone who quite frankly, is ritualistically murdering and consuming innocent beings three times a day. It doesn't matter if they're your best friend, or your parent, or your sibling. They are still responsible for exploitation, enslavement, rape, torture, commodification, and murder. We need to do away with our overflowing sympathy for the perpetrators, and redirect it to the ACTUAL VICTIMS.

I understand it's a complex undertaking, and that we need to also create a welcoming world for vegans, as to incentivize others to become vegan. But too often it seems that we're losing sight of what's actually important, and we've made it about making OUR lives easier in a carnist world.
TRILLIONS OF INNOCENT LIVES ARE AWAITING SLAUGHTER AS YOU READ THESE WORDS..... we all have a moral obligation to set our social comfort aside, and go out of our way to spread the truth of what meat-eaters are actually doing. If that means an uncomfortable exchange with friends or family, then so be it. Compare that temporary discomfort with the life of torture and suffering the animals will endure if we don't say anything.

I fully believe that 99.9% of people are decent at heart, and only take part in this evil because the life-long conditioning is very strong, and they are just ignorant. We need to have more confidence in our stance. We need to speak up at EVERY opportunity, we need to break through this normalization of murder. And where we are vastly outnumbered, we need to speak LOUDLY.

Because it's not about OUR social comfort, it's about the TRILLIONS of innocent lives that will be lost if we don't speak up.
It's quite literally life or death, and time is a factor.. we need to fight for those who can't fight for themselves... we need to be their voice, and we need to speak loudly. We need to speak now..... It's not about US.... It's about the animals.

I am going to try be to the point for easy reading.

I was bound to the drug mentally, even although a Christian and believing the Gospel. I was demonically oppressed. I was delivered of a demon this year, January. The experience was terrifying because other than sleep paralysis, this time hands were all over my soul-man and tugging at my feet.

Back in 1996 I became a Blood brother. That is when I got really heavy into the stuff. By 1997 I tried to commit suicide and was miraculously saved. I was filled with the Holy Spirit.

In late 1998, I fell to temptation and took 2X Hoffmans (LSD) and 2X Red Devils (Ecstasy). I experienced a demonic manifestation in my room, and the Holy Spirit manifested in my body and rebuked the presence. It was a terrifying experience. It manifested again about 5 minutes later and was dealt with again. Something changed. I was not happy as I was before. I was filled with condemnation, or fear thereof because of how I backslid that night.

All this time I had not really repented of marijuana.

By 2000, I earnestly sought the Lord about it because I was bound. I could not repent of it. I heard clearly, “I will not deliver you from it unless you stop beating yourself about it.”

Years passed and I was having all sorts of spiritual experiences, from visions, to experiencing voices, to seeing Jesus face to face, also not long after that I saw satan face to face manifested in the face of a high priestess of a satanic coven, and also experiencing other things like waking up in hell. This lasted for maybe 2 seconds. It was terrifying to say the least.

In 2007 I admitted that my life was not right at all and I sought the Lord about deliverance. I was an angry person and my mind was in no way the same that it was. In 2007 I had a very serious satanic attack against my mind where I experienced the presence of satan and it warped my soul completely. I was bent with the fear of condemnation. I thought I was going to hell. I had a vision of my mind being eaten out as if eaten out by an alien. This was the damage to my mind. It left a real soul wound. For about 3 years after that I suffered tremendously. I repented of my marijuana use for about 1.5 years but I cross addicted to alcohol and I did not know how I could. I was also enslaved to sexual sin, and I could not understand why, seeing that I had the severe experiences that I did. I was a very keen researcher on subjects like eschatology, crypto-history and conspiracy theory. There is a reason why I am saying this and will get to that now.

I then reached 2010 and I was desperate for a solution but my fear of condemnation was at max, and my soul was totally in a mess. I stood up in a church and asked what can be done to be released from sin that we are holding onto, but cannot let go of it, and they just said, “be accountable to your brother”. This was not the answer I needed because the Lord is our Saviour.

I went home and heard, “1 Thessalonians 5:23 [Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)] ” and went on to read it. “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”

I then accepted that He will sanctify my heart and my soul went into a rest and I experienced the Holy Spirit pass over my soul like water. I rested. I immediately had a vision of myself on a battlefield and naked on the ground and I reached for my helmet.

It would not be another 6 years before I finally got delivered from it, or alcohol. I at that time had about 10 years experiences with having visions, dreams, hearing different voices, etc.

On the basis of being shown between 2007 and 2010 that I was not obeying the Gospel, or the Good News I tried to repent totally from my fascination from grim subjects that I was interested in because I realized I was sowing fear into my mind by those subjects. I had to return to seeking Him, communing with Him and studying the Word but I was LAZY.

Now between 2010-2014 I went through more experiences but I was extremely filled with anger, rage, apathy, drudgery and all sorts of feelings, voices, etc. I was frustrated. In 2013 I cracked and shouted at the Lord and asked Him to remove the problem. I had a vision of Him standing at the Throne. I got scared.

I lost my job thereafter. I got another 7 months later. It was not long I walked out, out of anger. A spirit of anger had my soul. I was immensely angry. I then was unemployed for a further 7 months and got another job. 8 months I waked out of that job. I am an experienced I.T. professional. I was angry at everything. I was emotionally burned out and also suicidal.

In 2014 my suicidal feelings, my emotional burnout and frustration reached a point and I clearly heard a rebuke from the Lord saying, “YOU ARE MAKING A HUMAN SACRIFICE OUT OF YOURSELF BY THE WAY YOU ARE BEATING YOURSELF. WHEN YOU BEAT YOURSELF YOU MURDER YOURSELF AND WHEN YOU DO THAT THE SMELL OF THAT SACRIFICE IS CARRIED ACROSS THE ATMOSPHERE AND SUCKED INTO THE GATEWAYS OF HELLS WHERE THE SPIRITS OF SUICIDE SMELL THE SACRIFICE AND COME UPON THE FACE OF THE EARTH TO FINISH THE JOB OFF. BEATING SELF WILL MANIFEST INTO SUICIDE IF YOU DO NOT REPENT! TAKE MY SIDE IN LOVING YOU BECAUSE I DIED FOR YOU. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HATE WHAT I DIED FOR!”

I repented of self-murder, but it took a further year. I then had to go through a process of deliverance. First I had to forgive myself and others. He gave me healing to all sorts of things, like bitterness. Then I was delivered from a demon because anger left me in a great way. Well, it seemed something left me. I had to overcome all sources of bitterness and I had to face it.

Then, I still had marijuana. I finally got what the Lord was saying and I rested in the fact that only He can sanctify me. After all those years I finally handed over all rights to Him to Sanctify me completely. I had visions. I saw many things. I saw people standing around the Altar of the Lord. They were not ON THE ALTAR. They were off it and their faces were stretched in FEAR OF CONDEMNATION. They did not know that SANCTIFICATION IS BY FAITH. They were still using WILL POWER and the WILL IS OF THE SOUL. I basically resolved to look to Him to take my sin from me, because will power did not work.

I was then in the park smoking a joint. I was caught by the police and taken to jail. I appeared in Court and sent to a Drug Rehab, but I knew that I needed the Lord’s help. I could not do this alone, and the drug rehab would only lead me to repent by WILL POWER. I was really bound to marijuana. I LUSTED (not loved) it so much! Years bound! YEARS!

I was also having terrifying visions and I sought the Lord and I cried out for help and I had a vision of a demon on my back using my right ear as a motorbike grip. It was “riding” me.

I then said, “Lord, you are going to have to take this from me NOW or else these people will get me into prison.”. I was given a verse to stand on, and that is Romans 9:16 [Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)] “So then it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy.” —–|> ALL ALONG I HAD STUDIED ROMANS AND I MISSED THE PROOF RIGHT THERE THAT YOU CANNOT DO IT BY WILL POWER. All I had to do was NOT BEAT myself for the problem and TAKE MY STAND ON THE FINISHED WORK OF THE CROSS, THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, and look to Him only. He took it right out my heart. His Love imparted took away my fear of condemnation over the stuff and replaced the lust for it. His Love dissolved the lust, however this is where it gets interesting…..

During this process I heard a voice tell me, “Tonight they arrest you.” I thought, “The cops?”. This was right before I was finally delivered. That night I fell asleep and suddenly I was in the grip of a demon on my back. It was terrifying. I the heard “anger”. I got lose and repented of all anger in my life and asked that all doorways are closed to that demon and more. I asked if there was anything else that could be an open doorway and I was answered, “fornication”. The next morning I saw a vision of the Lord wiping my back with a towel.

I was delivered of that demon. It was on my back and this demon got entry into my life when I fell to LSD that night back in 1998. All the voices I was hearing for years…… A DEMON!

I have since been free from alcohol abuse, marijuana and masturbation. In fact, I had a dream in 2007 of the exact same experience I had and that was the Lord showing me I would have deliverance. I suspected something on my back. I woke up from the dream and was busy masturbating in my sleep. Or rather, that demon was masturbating me.

I have had a sound mind since. I hear His Voice clearer, but it is a voice to my spirit from His Spirit. I do not just trust any voice. I do sometimes hear a thing or two from the outside but the thing is that now I am focused on the Gospel and the FINISHED WORK OF THE CROSS and resting in the total benefits. GRACE BY FAITH. JUSTIFED BY FAITH. SANCTIFIED BY FAITH. ETERNAL LIFE IS A GIFT. I’m resting and staying quiet.

Marijuana use? It not only opens a door to demons. It will also expose your mind to the Spirit Realm illegally. Not only will you have false visions, you will hear voices and also have “profound revelations’. The same thing applies for LSD and magic mushrooms, etc. Witches use drugs to gain entry into the spirit realm and to cast spells easier. It is very dangerous. I will not go back to the stuff.

What some may call schizophrenia is really a “spirit of divination”. I am delivered totally from that but I am consulting a Christian Psychologist for the next year.

STAY AWAY FROM MARIJUANA. ALL DRUGS! IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN THEN STAY AWAY! I WAS BOUND TO IT AND HAD TO BE DELIVERED. THERE IS NO WAY WILL POWER WILL WORK. But Joyner doesn’t think people should be focused on that and should instead be worried about the eventual establishment of a government-run health care system in which bureaucrats and “death squads” start signing “death warrants” to determine who lives and who dies.

Lopez said that Congress should pass laws banning tenure and “set up a RICO investigation office just for higher education” to monitor schools in order to prevent faculty and staff from “making donations to a political party” that then allocates federal grants and funding to those schools.

“It’s a conflict of interest,” he said.

Lopez would also like to see this office investigate whenever allegations arise that a conservative faculty member has been fired under “very shady personnel decisions” and strip schools of their nonprofit status as punishment.

“I think also we should have some kind of provision,” he continued, “that if a university has a department that is completely lopsided, like women’s studies or something, then they should lose their status because if you have a department like that—like women’s studies or queer studies—they get seats on the faculty senate and they’re going to be exercising all of this power … and those departments often have huge power over the rest of the faculty.”
