The childhood nostalgia makes sense. Being a young(er) adult sucks compared to previous decades, and being a child isn’t really all that awesome either. Things were better in the 1980s. For example, we still had a country and a culture back then. Disney, for all its faults, is one of the remaining cultural touchstones of what used to be the USA.

That said, I don’t have much sympathy for these overgrown children. They’re shoving little kids out of the way by taking over rides. I’d ban them the same as I’d ban dogs from children’s playgrounds (another problem that annoys me immensely).

The formation of ice crystals from water does not answer this conundrum. Snowflakes simply represent water’s movement towards equilibrium at a lower energy level. They are not an example of matter forming itself into more organized or complex systems, but are the result of the intrinsic nature of the constituent elements forming repeating structures with minimal complexity and no function. Nobel Prize winner Ilya Prigogine puts it this way: “The point is that in a non-isolated [open] system there exists a possibility for formation of ordered, low-entropy structures at sufficiently low temperatures. This ordering principle is responsible for the appearance of ordered structures such as crystals as well as for the phenomena of phase transitions. Unfortunately this principle cannot explain the formation of biological structures.” Brown has put up a smokescreen to obfuscate the truth. He has employed sheer bravado to cover over the absolute bankrupt and totally unscientific whimsy called evolution (it cannot even be called a theory because it is entirely unprovable). Why the determined doggedness to maintain and promote blatant error? Because Brown, along with all mankind, would rather not answer to his Creator. He wants to continue as a free agent, doing what is right in his own eyes. It is the sheer arrogance of the spirit of rebellion that says to God, “Who are You to tell me what to do? I know better!” Enamored of this ungodly position, Brown becomes the consummate fool, espousing and promoting an idea that for pure ridiculousness has never, and shall never be matched. Man, made in the image of God, insists on being the son of amoeba. How great the fall!

Contemplating the controversy of evolution, I was on my lawn one day. I had spread compost on it. Everywhere I looked, I saw organic material until I spotted a fruit sticker that had not broken down in the composting. It was something obviously foreign. I realized that I could distinguish something man-made, of specific and deliberate design, versus what was natural. What person in his or her right mind could declare that the deliberate, descriptive fruit sticker could have evolved from nothing, or even on its own from something? Yet, with the God-given intelligence granted, we have discovered that the natural substance I put on the lawn has biological, intelligent, living organisms and countless design features that put the fruit sticker to shame, though we obtained the materials for making the sticker from that which already existed. I had a scientific experience, but not to be appreciated without the gift of reason. Science has observed and verified God’s creation. True science proves creation everywhere in everything, all the time. However, as monkeys cannot manufacture Lego toys in a lab, not having the reason or intelligence, though granted all the time, components, equipment, and even an enormous amount of guidance, so man who denies his Creator cannot discern the obvious. Without God, he has little reason. Without reason, he is an idiot, truly. Richard Brown dismisses teaching creationism in science class, stating that creationism cannot be substantiated by scientific principles. I may not have made my point amply clear to him, that being that anything unsubstantiated by sound scientific principles should not be permitted in science class. Evolution has not one verifiable fact. It defies all science, not to mention reason, yet its proponents call it “science.” As he has challenged creationists to “put up or shut up,” so I have challenged him to dispense with theory and tell us what sure facts there are to defend the “theory” of evolution. He has not done so. He has used big words, made himself sound like one who understands science, and even creationism, but neither he nor any one else has provided any conclusive proof to defend their ludicrous theories. My point is to address his hypocrisy, point out his sophisticated ignorance, and throw his challenge back to him. You say creationists are without substance. Show us yours. I know I can be as stupid and ignorant as any person, and could believe in evolution. I acknowledge that it is by the sheer grace of God that I can hear, see and understand. For that, I am so thankful, especially when I witness examples of such darkness in thinking as that of credulously entertaining evolution theory.

Actually, Dragnet, I think white privilege is very real. I was the beneficiary of it while in China. White Mexicans do very well for themselves. A mediocre white female teacher in DC makes a whole hell of a lot more than most of her neighbors. When I was in Latvia I met some Americans who, although not privileged for their skin color, were definitely privileged by virtue of their nationality. There’s no way some of the mediocrities I met there could have had such high positions here. So perhaps “white” privilege is an inaccurate term, but elite privilege has always been a feature of civilization.

However, this privilege is conditional. And it’s predicated on a particular lifestyle and social system that is better suited to colonial Latin America than the dynamic democracy we have here. In some cases, privileged minorities can exist in a mutually beneficial relationship with their hosts, as in Sephardic Jews in early modern Holland, who invented modern finance with their Dutch colleagues and paved the way for the industrial revolution. However, what we have in the US is a privileged white minority that seeks first and foremost to be a parasite on other, non-privileged whites, and is trying (but failing) to do so through moral appeals.

Instead of trying to find a working solution, they are increasingly turning to divisive, confrontational politics, much as the white elite of the antebellum South forced the issue prior to the US Civil War. As much as it may cause cognitive dissonance to modern readers, I definitely see the white elite in this country as the modern incarnation of the Southern slaver culture. With a good grasp of history, it isn’t much of a stretch, but they’ve succeeded in casting themselves as champions of everyone but themselves even while they are perhaps the most tenacious parasites this nation has seen in ages.

Also while on the subject people talk about stereotypes like how black people are always seen as criminals. Watch the news and tell me how many crimes were done by a black person versus a white person. Then come back and tell me that the stereotypes are unjustified and racist. Then you can wonder why cops are so on edge. Doesn't really justify their actions but as a human being can you really blame them for being scared and valuing their lives? Cops aren't emotionless drones. They want to go back home to their families too.

Actor Anthony Rapp has accused Kevin Spacey of making a sexual advance at him when Rapp was 14, Buzzfeed reported Sunday.

In an interview with Buzzfeed, Rapp said Spacey picked him up, put him on his bed and "was trying to get with me sexually." Spacey was 26 at the time.

In response to the allegations, Spacey tweeted that he was "beyond horrified to hear [Rapp's] story."

Spacey tweeted: "I honestly do not remember the encounter, it would have been over 30 years ago.
"But if I did behave then as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior, and I am sorry for the feelings he describes having carried with him all these years."

I think we should all be very careful and not try and crucify this man who is an extremely apologetic and redeemable figure who has done more good than bad. I've been on twitter this morning and many people are bashing him for trying to deflect with him coming out as gay.
I even feel bad for him because it was such a long time ago and he cannot remember. There's no right or wrong way to apologise for doing something like this. I think all the holier-than-thou crowd should have several seats and shut up.

*If* the allegation is true, how do we do the ethical calculus here? How much good does somebody have to do in order to attempt to force themselves on a 14 year old?

If the allegation is true, I can still forgive him and look past his previous actions. We've all made mistakes in the past and this is no different. We obsess over a moment in a bedroom 30 years ago while most of the world is struggling to find something to eat or fighting off fanantics and criminals and rising oceans. Probably most shocked and outraged tweeters are busy watching PornHub 3 hours a day, cheating on their spouses, buying sex toys, or checking out students coming home from the local high school…
I think we need to save the moral outrage for others not a closeted gay man who was pressured to repress his sexuality by everyone.

So trying to solicit sex from a minor is not taking advantage of them? The guy seems to remember the incident pretty clearly so it wasn't forgettable to him.

The gay rumours have been swirling for decades. Hollywood used to be and still is largely homophobic and gay actors are forced to deny their orientation for the sake of keeping their careers afloat. His repressed sexuality could have led him to act out in this predatory manner as he wouldn't have had the chance to be out and openly gay in public. In short, I'm saying that his behaviour could be explained as a symptom of his mental anguish. We should empathise with him and look beyond our own hubris to crucify a man who is a victim of society as much as his own victim

Why was he at a party where there was alcohol all on his own? He was out most of the night so where were his parents? Why did he wander off into bedroom and not just go home? Space was obviously drunk and has no recollection of the incident. Rapp has waited until now to speak out, yet has told the story to others over the years. It has obviously become his 'Dinner Party Piece' and has become elaborated upon over the years. He probably believes it all himself by now, but that does not mean it is all totally true.
Even if it was, Kevin spacey is completely redeemable and he shows remorse.

The psychology of being closeted is dark and cruel and self-punishing. That Spacey has dwelt in that for years is sad. Not to mention how he hasn't been able to live authentically for the past 58 years. He apologised. What more do you want him to do?

If it's true, the he is added to the vermin-list.. there are no exceptions there, even if you are famous ffs... He should never get a gig again in his life, simple as that!

Well, this whole deflection by Spacey reminds me of the whole Caitlin Jenner thing, she killed a woman by pushing her car into on coming traffic. No he doesn't look like an idiot. He is very smart which is why he chose to 'come-out' now, even though everyone already knew. Don't forget that Kevin is also very much a victim. I feel bad for both Rapp and Spacey. And I will still watch and support Spacey. He is an American hero.

I saw a lot of weird and disgusting animals that I’ve never seen before in my life. I walked step by step through the desert till I found my self in a gloomy place. I had strange feelings that time and I could feel the pain spread to all of my bones. The situation was silent and dark. No wind blew. Dark cloud appeared and surrounded that place. I could not describe it in better words.

A huge gate appeared in front of me. I felt nervous and worried but I tried to open that gate anxiously. It was not difficult to open it. I opened it and was shocked because there was another gate bigger than the first one. It was written on top of that gate “VALLEY OF TORTURE”.

There was a doubt in my heart implicitly, whether I should continue this trip or not. But something so powerful inside of me made me to go on. My heart beat was loud as I could hear it myself while I opened the next gate and Oh my God!… I could not believe, I could not believe what I saw but it was real.

There was a long dark path in front of me. I stood in the side of the gate watching and predicting how large and long that path was but I could not see it clearly. I saw a flame rise up in the end of that path. I thought it was a terrible ocean of fire!

Along the way I walked in that dark path, I saw many people were tortured by creatures wearing black clothes and having horns in their heads. I saw they were so cruel in torturing everyone there before they were put into the fire ocean at the end of the path. I heard affecting tears and pain mix up with dirty laugh sounds in that dirty place.

At the edge of the path, there was a young woman whose hands were bound at a piece of wood and she was surrounded by a lot of horned creatures who made fun of her and laugh at her. I saw her face was pail and white filled with fear. A strange weapon that I have never seen before was swinging in front of her face. I did not know exactly what it was but it was like a fork with a sharp cutting edge in the top of it. That weapon was carried by one of the horned devils which surrounded that woman. I heard the devils were threatening that poor frightened woman, “Lie!… Come on, lie!!!” I saw her become more frightened. She completely fell into the power of the horned devils so that she obeyed them whatever they wanted. That woman answered, “Yes, yes, I lied! I lied!” All of the devils were laughing, seems that they were satisfied with the young woman’s answer. I thought after that woman did everything that they wanted, they would’ve released her. But what happened next really shocked me! The devil stabbed that horrible thing into her face! The fresh blood squirted from her face! It was so horrifying! Her face did not have a shape anymore and her cry of pain was so heartbreaking!
“Stop! Stop it!” I yelled.

But strangely, they could not hear my voice; even more my appearance seemed invisible for them! I felt disgusted for everything that I saw, but there were a lot of other views that surprised me and made me shocked!

Then, I saw a man whose hair was burnt, only rotten skull remained. There were unburnable maggots coming out of his skull cavity. He was lying and carrying from the end of the path not far from fire, I thought that they tortured him for a long time. His body was burning and his flesh was melting because he was lying near the hottest fire ever!

The devils who carried him were laughing at him. There was nothing he could do besides surrender himself to them. He was dying but he could not die. He looked like having terrible pain, seemed he wanted to say something for mercy. One of those devils said, “Come on, masturbate! Masturbate!!” That man while shaking answered, “Yes, I masturbate! I masturbate! Aaaahhhhh!” He was screaming and a lot of maggots came out from all of his body so many!! I felt disgusted when I saw them, even when I heard his screaming it was so horrible!!!

There were more screaming and commanding that I heard. “Come on, drink! Drink! Gambling! Deceive!” and those devils were laughing and enjoying the moaning of pain and tears, as they were listening to wonderful music. I was afraid to walk in through that path. I only saw as far as I could and I was sure there were more kind of tortures at that place which is more appropriate to be called barracks of torture.

I found a view that made me really shocked, there were many righteous and religious people there!! I did not believe it but I did not have power to deny all that I saw. I heard all their screaming when they were being tortured. They cried out for God, “God, help me! God, do I always be together with You? You taught us at our towns and I served You Lord!”

They were begging to God but salvation had already been closed for them, till I heard they abused Him! My heart was breaking when I saw it! After that I was in the top of the horrible situation I could not continue that journey anymore. And I believed if I continued this journey, I would have been dead! “God! I cried Please bring me out from here! Please God!” All of these were a vision, a horrible vision, a vision of Hell! I was so happy when I found out that I was at home, even though after that I got ill for a couple days. All of my bones and pivots were hurt; I suffered stomach disorder and got shocked day by day.

I prayed to God and wondered what it’s all about, what He wants through my experience. God gave me understanding and deep burden for people around me. God wants me to tell you what happened and will be happened to everyone living in sin. A lot of them are having fun, eating, drinking, having party, free sex, drugs and others and it seems to them that they can enjoy them forever. They do not realize that hell and the horned devils are waiting for them. They are the next victims.

I know that God really loves you. This vision that was showed to me is proof that He’s still giving you a chance to repent.

My dear friend, I have to write this article to warn you. I do not want you having the same experiences as those people there. Truly, I love you all and I hope you will meditate on all of these and repent. Accept Jesus Christ as your saviour personally and start a new life and do not come out from the road that Jesus has giving to us from his blood that was shed.

Obama was in Seattle yesterday, and in the afternoon, while sitting at my desk, there were a couple violent thuds that sounded and felt as though someone hit my house’s foundation with a sledgehammer. Coincidentally, my cat was trying to get in the house by jumping at the door and making noise right when the shock wave struck, and my first thought was “what the hell’s wrong with that cat?” Of course, it didn’t take long for me to realize that my cat doesn’t have the mass to shake the house like that, so I thought it might be the neighbor’s workers banging a pipe or something. But no, there were no workers outside.

At this point I was a bit worried, and thought someone might have set off a bomb in the vicinity. I checked the TV and radio, and no alerts, so it wasn’t that, and eventually I just accepted that it must be some mystery, or possibly a large meteor.

Well, it’s no longer a mystery. Evidently, some tour plane was tooling around in our precious president’s airspace, and they scrambled a couple of supersonic jets to Boeing Field, which is less than two miles from my place as the crow flies. They must have really been cooking, because the sonic booms were quite violent.

I wasn’t the only one bothered by the blasts:

When I lived in Beijing, Clinton visited at one point, and the security was both overwhelming and offensive. Chinese military squads were stationed along the route home, because I lived close to the Airport Expressway. I had the rather unpleasant experience of having to travel around PLA grenadier squads on the way back to my humble abode.

Our leaders now make visits as though we are in a state of war, and I resent that. If they are so beloved, why do they need to make such a show of overwhelming force wherever they go? Nothing says “Imperial” like a Presidential entourage that includes a full military component and makes its subjects feel as though they are at war when the “great leader” deigns to pay us a visit.

I know this is a bit off-topic, but I’d feel better if our President were traveling from town to town by Cessna than the current situation, where we are subjected to war exercises of the Imperial Fleet. Frankly, I could give a damn about politicians, and if Obama wants to blast my town with his entourage, I’d like to humbly request that he doesn’t visit again.

My sympathy ultimately is with the guy, but there's a kernel of annoyance at the fact that he was dumbass enough to choose to go.

I'm generally extremely dubious of our national interest in going to any lengths to repatriate Americans who voluntary go to dangerous places. I'd be happy if the strongest State Department warnings essentially said, "Travel here and you're on your own, Bucko!"

Unless there is some huge as yet unseen factor, such as this guy being a CIA agent, he pushes the furthest end of the curve. He oughtn't have gone there, and if he chose to, he oughtn't have done something so stupid. Sucks to be him. Not one scintilla of American attention or interest ought to be committed to earning his release. The only appropriate response ought to be to publicize his case to inform potential travelers, "Don't be like this idiot"

When we hear people talking about "diversity" nowadays, what they are really saying is that Christians should accept the Person of the wicked. Witches, abortionists and homosexuals have no problem accepting the goodness of Christianity. However, God-fearing Christians cannot accept the sins of witchcraft, abortion and homosexuality. That is the problem. The issue is one of moral tolerance... what will we tolerate as being morally acceptable?

To expect Bible-believing Christians to be tolerant of two men kissing in public is ridiculous. Of course Christians are not going to approve of that. Homosexuals get offended when Christians shun them and gaze with disgust and amazement. What do you expect? Are Christians homophobic? Yes Sir, 100%! I am very much homophobic. The sin of homosexuality scares me to death!!! I don't understand it, don't want to understand it and am glad I don't understand it.

In order for the Antichrist to rule over the world, Satan needs to get the world all on one page. This is why we see the consolidation of world religion, world economies and world government. The teaching of diversity is a vehicle by which the Devil is convincing the masses to lay aside their differences and hop on the bandwagon of the New World Order.

And I would certainly quit if I knew our Christian Anti-Communism Crusade family of supporters ceased supporting us. BUT THEY ARE NOT! We are still meeting our bills from month to month and for that I am indeed more than grateful, pleased and encouraged.

And, therefore, plan to keep our doors open to The Schwarz Report, Thunderontheright.wordpress.com (our blog), You Can Still Trust the Communists (to be Communists), The Naked Truth, etc. etc.

However, I need to clarify an issue. Because a number of our supporters work for the federal, state and local governments they cannot write a check made out to the Christian Anti-Communism Crusade. All three names—Christian, Anti-Communism, and Crusade—are politically incorrect. Therefore, we have registered the name Christian Worldview Ministry in the state of Colorado as a d/b/a (doing business as). Checks made out in this name will be accepted as though made out to CACC. Because CACC is the 501©3 organization receipts will bare this name.

Because “Christian” is the major emphasis in our name we are extremely interested in everything that affects our Christian faith and Christian worldview. I’m sure you noticed that both Islam and Communism (Marxism/Leninism) are two worldviews that have declared Christianity their # 1 enemy. Yet some are misreading the roles being played out by Islam and the Left.

As I write our federal government has placed a number of radical Muslims in strategic positions. It appears that the federals are taking after Bill Clinton’s example of hiring such radicals. Clinton placed a top Muslim Brotherhood operative, Gehad el-Haddad, smack into his Foundation. Unfortunately, Gehad has been arrested in Cairo for his radicalism. (See The Washington Beacon, September 18, 2013)

Mohamed Magid, president of the Islamic Society of North America, has been named to the Department of Homeland Security (along with another Muslim, Arif Alikhan). In that role Magid was able to erase from its “Countering Violent Extremism” curriculum “any suggestion that Muslim terrorism draws its inspiration from the laws and doctrines of Islam.” (See DiscoverTheNetworks.org—Mohamed Magid)

If that isn’t enough there is also Mohamed Elibiary, named by President Obama to the Homeland Security Advisory Council in 2010 and recently promoted to a Senior Fellow position. Pam Geller says that Elibiary is a Muslim Brotherhood operative. And Frank Gaffney’s “Muslim Brotherhood in America” details the importance of such a sensitive position. Elibiary, for example, was a guest speaker at a December 2004 conference in Dallas, titled “A Tribute to the Great Islamic Visionary,” which was held in honor of the late Ayatollah Khomeini (the iconic jihadist).

Or Eboo Patel, a Muslim, was appointed by President Barack Obama’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships. It is important to understand that Patel describes the revolutionary communist Van Jones as an “American patriot,” a “faith hero,” and one of the “true giants of history.” To understand the connection between these radical brothers (Islamists and Reds) read the following carefully…

“In 2005 Patel and several young radicals co-authored the book Letters from Young Activists: Today’s Rebels Speak Out. Among Patel’s co-authors were Chesa Boudin (the adopted son of former Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers) and Ismail Khalidi (the son of Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi). The book’s Preface was written by Ayer’s wife, Weather Underground co-founder Bernardine Dohrn. The back cover featured an endorsement from the convicted cop-killer and former Black Panther Party member Mumia Abu-Jamal. Is it any wonder that Andrew C. McCarthy writes, “With their collectivist philosophy, transnational outlook, totalitarian demands, and revolutionary designs, Islamists are natural allies of the radical Left.” (The Grand Jihad: How Islam and the Left Sabotage America, p. 163) Jamie Glazov in his United In Hate: The Left’s Romance With Tyranny and Terror speaks to this same combination of Islam and Communists and their love of totalitarianism, transnationalism, and terror.

But most writers who cover both of these terror-filled worldviews fail to tell the truth about their killings of Christians.

World magazine writer, Mindy Belz, puts it like this: “Why do we Americans persistently underestimate the evil that men do, and the evil of Islamic terrorism? We who lived through its destruction in lower Manhattan now watch as it turns the streets of Cairo into a fiery hell. In parts of Syria Christians dare not leave their homes. The terrorists’ dark resolve, to paraphrase Shakespeare, comes hot from hell and slips the dogs of war until carrion men are groaning for burial. It shoots pastors at point-blank range, leaving their children to watch and suffer. After that, it hunts child and mother, not content with the hundreds who have been slaughtered in between.” (September 7, 2013)

Bruce Thornton writing in a Hoover Institutional Journal (July 25, 2013) says, “Few people realize that we are today living through the largest persecution of Christians in history, worse than the Roman emperors like Diocletian and Nero…a Christian is martyred every five minutes.”

Thornton says that this martyrdom has been in practice since the “Conditions of Omar” have been promulgated since the seventh century. These conditions ”proscribed building churches or repairing existing ones, performing religious procession in public, exhibiting crosses, praying near Muslims, proselytizing, and preventing conversion to Islam, in addition to rules governing how Christians should dress, comport themselves, and treat Muslims.” If Christians refuse—“it is the sword without leniency.”

That’s the legacy of the Muslims.

Even Liberal TV host Bill Maher speaks some truth to this situation. “There’s only one faith,” says Maher, “that kills you or wants to kill you if you draw a bad cartoon of the prophet. There’s only one faith that kills you or wants to kill you if you renounce the faith. An ex-Muslim is a very dangerous thing. Talk to Salman Rushdie after the show about Christian versus Islam.” (World magazine, May 18, 2013, p. 4)

But there’s more…

“There were likely twice as many martyrs in the twentieth century than in the previous nineteen centuries of Christian history combined. The great majority of these twentieth century martyrs gave their lives for Christ at the hands of communism.” (George Weigel, First Things, April 2011, p. 29)

That’s the legacy of the Communists.

But the historical truth is that the Muslims make the Communists appear to be second class murderers. Missionary Peter Hammond puts this in perspective: “The persecution of Christians by Muslims has become a taboo subject in Western circles. Over thirteen centuries of religious discrimination and persecutions, causing the suffering, oppression, murder and enslavement of countless millions has been buried under a thick whitewash of myths of ‘Islamic tolerance.’”

Hence, the Christian Anti-Communism Crusade plans to stay on top of both these worldviews as well as defending our own Christian worldview. When it comes to Jesus Christ, Karl Marx or Mohammad it isn’t even close. And while Jesus hasn’t asked us to “save” the world (He’s already done that); he has asked us to be his witness in this world and that entails being a truth teller.

Relative to there being different races, let's not forget the fact that Jesus designed Adam and Eve to fulfill a part of His illustrious plan for this world. Surely we don't know all of Jesus' plans, but we can glean some truth from what we know.

Take for example the narrow eye of the Asian. Surely this design of the oculus is better suited for people meant to live in areas with high wind or those that need to sail boats or ride horses. Given the lack of protective eyewear in the ancient world, we can appreciate Jesus engineering such eye shape for the Asian.

Now, have you ever heard of the seige of Baghdad in 1258? That's when the armies of Mongol Khans rode to the Mesopotamian locales of cameljockeyed Mooslims and decimated and leveled the Moohamadam capital city of Baghdad! Praise the Lord for that! And, yes, it was the same Baghdad that the glorious American President George W. Bush, heathen though he may be, liberated from the diaperhead Saddam Hussain.

If you know anything about the Mongols and their armies assembled by Genghis Khan, then you ought to know two things. One, is that the Mongols are Asians and have the appearance of the Asian race, including the narrow eyes. And two, is the fact that their armies practically lived riding their horses through the windy Asian steppes. Would they have been able to ride their horses and assemble armies of hundreds of thousands of horse riders, without having as much as safety goggles to protect them from the wind, had they not had purpose designed palpebral shape? NOT! So suffice to say that the existence of human races is a part of Jesus' plan, in more ways than one. Clearly, our beloved baby Jesus wanted to punish those Allah-worshiping ragheads, and as always, He had the most perfect plan to accomplish that!

As a side note, the Christian hopes that in the course of your secular science class, you were not being just another milquetoast "Christian", in the name only, and therefore instructed your teachers and other students relative to all the falsehoods of evilutionism! In the future, you should never forget to acquire a good amount of Christian tracts that refute Darwinistic satanism and distribute them liberally within the school, including to ALL the teachers. If even one of them gets Saved in the name of the Lord, just imagine how many students he would be able to teach about Christ over the years!

A televangelist’s flu-season advice: ‘Inoculate yourself with the word of God’


At least 53 children across the country have died during a nasty flu outbreak that is already one of the worst on record, even though the season typically peaks in February.

But Texas televangelist Gloria Copeland thinks there’s nothing to worry about. In fact, the minister who advised President Trump’s campaign says she doesn’t believe there’s such thing as a flu season.

“We got a duck season, a deer season, but we don’t have a flu season,” she said in a video posted to Facebook last week. “And don’t receive it when somebody threatens you with, ‘Everyone’s getting the flu!’ ”

Her remarks come as physicians insist people get their flu shots, as 80 percent of the children who died did not have a flu shot. The flu vaccine does not guarantee against illness, but experts say that data suggests that vaccinations make the flu milder.

It’s not the first time Copeland — who told her viewers in the video that “Jesus himself gave us the flu shot” and “redeemed us from the curse of flu” — has insisted that people put their health in God’s hands. She once bragged during a conference that she and her husband did not need prescription drugs because the Lord heals all illnesses, according to the Associated Press.

In 2015, Copeland was featured in a segment of HBO’s “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” that accused televangelists of manipulating and defrauding their followers. Oliver played a clip of her preaching to her viewers, talking about cancer.

“We know what’s wrong with you. You’ve got cancer. The bad news is we don’t know what to do about it — except give you some poison that will make you sicker,” Copeland said in the clip. “Now, which do you want to do? Do you want to do that, or do you want to sit in here on a Saturday morning, hear the word of God, and let faith come into your heart and be healed?”

In 2013, her husband, Kenneth Copeland, also a televangelist, was criticized when the family’s North Texas megachurch found itself at the center of a measles outbreak. Many of the congregants had not been vaccinated, and 21 people fell ill with the contagious disease, the AP reported.

“To get a vaccine would have been viewed by me and my friends and my peers as an act of fear — that you doubted God would keep you safe. … We simply didn’t do it,” former church member Amy Arden told the AP at the time.

Copeland last week told her viewers to protect themselves with the “word of God.”

“If you say, ‘Well, I don’t have any symptoms of the flu,’ well, great! That’s the way it’s supposed to be,” she said. “Just keeping saying that. ‘I’ll never have the flu. I’ll never have the flu.’ Put words. Inoculate yourself with the word of God.”

The family’s organization, Kenneth Copeland Ministries, could not be immediately reached for comment.
