I'm with Shinra1 here. 26 is still fairly young, and it's entirely within the realm of possibilities that one hasn't fully matured sexually (well, body yes, but mentally is another thing) especially as a gay during that time, especially in Hollywood. I also get the vibe that no real abuse happened, and that a "no" was eventually honored without any actual rapey actions. All these things lead me to suspect that no actual harm was done, and that he merely tries to jump onto the Weinstein-wagon, possibly to gain a glimpse of spotlight. I almost suspect that he didn't even think much about the "incident" all these 30 years.
Well, yet another reason to give STD a pass. (I love that they still went with the name, knowing full well that ST has a tradition of refering to installments with 3-letter acronyms and STD was guaranteed to happen.)

Not too long ago the qhole sexuality thing was a LOT more relaxed man. I really don't know what happened. It's as if people suddenly forgot that we really are animals, and that sexuality is the strongest aspect of it by far. People have made all sorts of advancements for millenia to all sorts of other people. And as long as it didn't come to downright rape, abuse and violence (and yes, a forced kiss is abuse already - but not if the other one leans in, no matter how drunk), we filed it under "experience". I'm not saying that anything is game, but people currently are WAYYYY too sensitive about it. Not to say we should just leave it as is, but we're yet again overshooting the goals by miles. I'm getting tired of this.

the sentencing is justified and it's clearly written in the link, that is, it is illegal for women to be alone with men who are not related to them. This law was put in place to protect women (and men) from putting themselves in situations which would inspire rape. Before you say victim blaming this is no different to the loud groups that question women about what they were wearing and why they were out so late or why they got into the car with a stranger.

Firstly, women have rights over their own bodies and that includes the right to be alone with whoever they want. You have no right to decide who a woman can spend her time with and you certainly have no right to punish her for it.

Secondly, I like how you avoided talking about how Saudi husbands demand sex from their wives whether the wives want to or not. People like you are the reason millions (billions) of women are abused every day.

If you don't want to follow the particular laws of a country or respect them for that matter, don't live there. Like I have been saying since page one this is not a Muslim issue, hell it's not even a Christian or religious issue. Men demand sex from their wives all the time. A sergeant in the Tennessee State Guard has been reprimanded after engaging in a conversation on social media alluding to running over anti-fascist activists with a military cargo truck.

The Tennessee Department of Military confirmed that Casey Gillespie, who apparently took part in the public discussion with another man on Gillespie’s personal Facebook page, remains a sergeant in the volunteer arm of the department.

Screenshots posted online by Nashville Antifa show Gillespie posting about the anti-fascist group’s Jan. 3 clothing and food distribution initiative in downtown Nashville, apparently warning others to look out for the group.

The local antifa chapter, which put up antifa flags nearby, was joined that evening by fellow activist groups Nashville Anarchist Black Cross and Middle Tennessee Autonomous Network as they handed out food and supplies to the poor.

“Antifa in downtown Nashville on Capital Blvd.,” Gillespie wrote. “Theres (sic) not many of them. Stay Safe!”

Another man commented soon after, “Man I wish I could drive my deuce and a half LOL,” referring to a military cargo truck.

Gillespie replied that he had seen no counterprotesters.

“I wouldn’t be counterprotesting I’ll be looking for blocked streets LOL,” his friend wrote.

“That deuce could drive on through!” Gillespie replied.

Though Randy Harris, director of joint public affairs for the Tennessee Department of Military, said that the other man “sort of led the charge on this and Gillespie just sort of commented on it,” he added that Gillespie was still in violation of the agency’s policy and Gillespie's leadership had “counseled him and they have disciplined him.”

Screenshots of the since-deleted Facebook page show that Gillespie had identified on his public profile as being a sergeant in the Tennessee State Guard.

When reached by phone Thursday, Gillespie declined to comment or offer an explanation about the posts.

Harris confirmed that the other man was not a member of the Tennessee State Guard.

The funny thing is that the scientists who say life doesn't begin at conception don't disagree about science with those who say it does. If they were all to sit around a table and discuss one point in time of human development after another, they would closely agree about the processes going on at each point.
They are disagreeing about nomenclature, about words. It's a semantic debate. If they were to agree to freshly coin all the words they will need for the embryology field, they could probably easily coin some words and assign them the definitions that will be most useful for their scientific purposes, and come to an agreement. But since they persist in using existing words, and existing words, such as "life" and "human," have associations with implications (implications which those scientists understand) for perception and private behavior and public policy, the scientists' nomenclature preferences will be underlain by their different philosophies, and a faction of scientists with one philosophy will want to use different words than a faction of scientists with a different philosophy. "The final quote from Robert Wyman (a neurobiologist) makes the most bizarre claim I've ever seen a pro-choice person make. Life doesn't begin at fertilization, they claim, it began billions of years ago. And that is somehow supposed to show that we can't know when an individual human life begins."
I agree that that is what Wyman was trying to show. But to some extent he evades being caught and pinned to the wall, by applying what seems to be intentional obtuseness.
It would matter not at all whether viruses were alive if we didn't reify and virtually fetishize our own categories. A failure to answer that question (are viruses alive?) wouldn't prevent us from acquiring a finely-detailed, even god-like scientific understanding of viruses, if we're otherwise capable of acquiring it.
Just as knowing whether or not an embryo is a person, or a human being, matters not at all, as long as we understand what kind of life it would have if it lives, and understand that if we kill it, we deprive it of that life. Science.

I live in a working class white region with lots of Mormons. Mormons are, by origin, working class whites. Their religion and social hierarchy are cleverly designed to improve the station and quality of working class people, and I’ve seen it work in real time. However, their unfortunate prohibitions and the science fiction origins of the religion are a bit of an impediment to conversion, to put it mildly.

Its actually good to have that in reality. Whereas you look at people like Pakistani/Afghans who aren't really as smart as Asians yet have successfully defended their lands against European Greeks, Russians, British, Americans, and NATO with just old rusted guns and some good guerilla warfare tactics? Its because the nature of the people is resilient.

Lets look at Britain here, I have seen hordes of white women with Pakistani men but rarely the other way, in reality never the other way around. As you can see Pakistanis nor Arabs or Afghans get media attention like white or black males yet their males still marry out more than their females. Even princess diana, britney spears and lauren booth dated Pakistani males. I can't think of any major known Pakistani woman who married out in my mind unless you can name one.

Its not because of media or masculinity but the honor killing stats in Pakistan are sky high. The males are very cautious about how their women dress and how their women go places. If another male messes with a woman there, then all the male members of the woman's family go hunt the guy down. This is the nature of the people and has nothing to do with masculinity.
However yes, white guys and also black guys have the media in their hands but on the streets, its these other races that start most of the riots and we fight back. Race riots are common in britain between Pakistanis and white people.

I never imagined a person from Japan or Korea ever attacking white guys for talking ill about their women. They just keep their head down and move on. This nature is bad since it shows that you're willing to sell your daughters and sisters just to fit in with the mainstream.

The Berlin Court of Appeals on Thursday began hearing the case involving four suspected "Islamic State" sympathizers who wanted to go to Syria to fight alongside the jihadis.

German law, amended in 2015, outlaws any attempts — successful or not — to leave the country to join a terrorist organization and considers it a "serious act of violence endangering the state."

The men — two Turks, a German Moroccan and a German citizen — are said to have regularly visited the infamous "Fussilet" Mosque in the German capital, suspected of being a meeting point for radical Islamists, including Berlin Christmas market attacker Anis Amri.

Amri, a Tunisian national who killed 12 people and injured dozens more, frequented the mosque, according to authorities. The mosque, which has been under surveillance since 2015 for its suspected links in recruitment activities, was sealed by the law-enforcement authorities last year.

Unsuccessful bid to reach Syria

The men facing trial in Berlin — identified only as Soufiane A, Emrah C., Resul K. and Feysel H., in accordance with German privacy laws — are said to have had no direct links to Amri.

Three of the four suspects were arrested in an anti-terror raid in Berlin in January last year.

22-year-old Soufiane A. was said to have been sent back to Germany by Italian authorities because his identity card showed a ban on leaving the country.

Feysel H. (25), Emrah C. (32) and Resul K. (46) left for Syria in a car belonging to the taxi service owned by C. and K..

Feysel H. was sent back from Croatia also because of a travel restriction on his passport.

Emrah C. (32) and Resul K. (46) carried on and claim to have returned from Turkey after hearing discouraging stories from an 'IS' returnee.

Soufiane A. and Feysel H. are believed to have organized the funds for the trip by using false documents to buy expensive smartphones and then reselling them.
