The Georgia School of Innovation and the Classics (GSIC), a kindergarten-through-9th-grade charter school, is bringing back paddling — spanking a child on the behind with a wooden board — as a form of discipline. Superintendent Jody Boulineau told WRDW that about 100 parents sent back the forms, and one-third gave the school consent to paddle their child.

"In this school, we take discipline very seriously," the superintendent said. "There was a time where corporal punishment was kind of the norm in school and you didn't have the problems that you have."

Boulineau said parents can deny giving permission to the school. The form sent home explained the steps the school would take to discipline children with a paddle. "A student will be taken into an office behind closed doors. The student will place their hands on their knees or piece of furniture and will be struck on the buttocks with a paddle," the form, which was obtained by WRDW, reads. Students will be paddled after their third offense. The form also says "no more than three licks should be given."

The paddle will be 24 inches in length, six inches in width and 3/4 inches in thickness, the form specifies. Parents will be notified if their child is to be paddled by an administrator, according to the form, which CBS News has not independently verified.

Transcription of portion of apparent form:

1. Corporal punishment will be administered using a “three-strike” policy.

When a student is sent to the office for disciplinary purposes, a member of the administrative team will discuss the infraction with the student and notify the parents. A non-corporal punishment may be given at this time, and the student warned of the future possibility of a paddling if improper behavior continues. These steps will be taken for the second occurence of an infraction. Upon being sent to the office for the third time, the student will receive “strike three” and may receive corporal punishment.

2. Parents are notified that their child is to be paddled.

3. The student will be taken into an office and the door closed.

4.The student will place their hands on their knees or a piece of furniture and be struck on the buttocks with a paddle.

The paddle is made of wood and should not exceed the 24" in length, 6" in width, and 3/4" in thickness.

What real assurance do I have that its just an offhand comment and not a serious declaration of intent? None. Assuming I believe him, why think he'll break the law if I thought he was serious about being a pedophile? Take the emotion out of the argument, and you'd have just a co-worker who has an odd taste in jokes.

Logically speaking, it doesn't matter whether he works with kids or the elderly, because the above statement works either way. So I don't think its the right thing to report him at all because you'd either be sure he's joking, or be sure he won't break the law. Only someone steeped in bias would callously twist his words into the no-win scenario you've driven him in to. By your actions, why shouldn't he go and rape the next baby he sees? Either way, he'll get the cops on him, probably lose his job, and be ostracized. Might as well indulge, right?

He then made a “wife” for Adam. Notice God did not make “wives” for Adam. If He had wanted Adam to have more than one wife, He would have made him more than one. One was enough. God knows best.

Man in his different cultures has brought many ideas about marriage into the world. Some of man’s ideas agree with God’s plan. Some of man’s ideas do not agree with God’s plan. This is true with polygamy. Polygamy is a “man-made” idea. It is not in agreement with God’s plan for marriage. Anything that does not agree with what God has done or said is sin. God’s plan is one man and woman (wife) for life (Genesis 2).

There are many examples of polygamy in the Bible. The first person to be a polygamist was Lamech (Genesis 4:19-24). He lived six generations after Adam. He was a murderer. Nothing good is said about him.

Abraham was also a polygamist (Genesis 16:1-5). His wife, Sarai, was unable to have children. She gave her slave, Hagar, to be Abraham’s wife. Hagar had children for Abraham. Sarah then became jealous of Hagar. This marriage was then full of troubles.

Another polygamist was Esau. He was the firstborn of Isaac and Rebekah. Esau married two Hittite women (Genesis 26:33-34). They caused much grief to Isaac and Rebekah. Polygamist marriages affect more than just the man and his wives.

Gideon was a great and brave leader. He had 70 sons from many wives (Judges 8:30-31). What kind of a father could he be to 70 sons? Not the kind that God wants us to be.

King Solomon had 700 wives, princesses, and 300 concubines. His wives turned his heart away from God (1 Kings 11:3). His downfall as a king was a result of his practice of polygamy.

Nowhere in the Bible can we find polygamy doing any good. Everything that is said about it shows it causes troubles. That has not changed. Today polygamy still causes many marriage problems for those who practice it.

Let us see some Bible principles that teach against the practice of polygamy. Genesis 2:23-24 says that a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife. God did not say that man was to be joined to his “wives.” He said that man was to be joined to his wife. That is one and only one!

Paul compares the husband and wife to Christ and the church: For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church... (Ephesians 5:23). In Ephesians 1:22-23 we are told that the church is the body of Christ. There is only one body (Ephesians 4:4) so there is only one church. A man can have as many wives as Christ has churches. Christ has only one church so a man can have only one wife. Nowhere does the Bible speak of a man (one) being over wives (many) and that being right with God.

Matthew 19:3-9 speaks about divorce. Jesus Christ shows that God never wanted man (or woman) to divorce. The same is true with polygamy. God does not want a man to have more than one wife. Jesus said that a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh. Jesus spoke of one man and one woman marrying. He said that marriage is made up of one man and one woman. The two make one flesh. When a man has more than one wife he is sinning. God hates sin.

In 1 Timothy 3:2 we are told that an elder must be the husband of one wife. Why not two or more? If it is a good practice, then why should not a church leader be a polygamist? The reason is that God does not want that kind of a marriage. Those who practice polygamy are sinning in God’s eyes. They cannot be church leaders nor church members.

Let us notice some problems with polygamy in the Bible. First, it causes strife and jealousy. We see it in the lives of those who practice it today. Joseph was sold into Egyptian slavery by his brothers because of jealousy from a polygamist marriage. Second, no man can be a proper husband by being a polygamist. Third, he can’t be a proper father as God intended. If a man has many children how can he be a father who brings them up chastening and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4)? Fourth, polygamy causes a man to go away from God rather than closer to God. We should do nothing that causes us to go away from God.

What must a polygamist do if he wants to become a Christian? First, he must realize that he is a lost sinner. He then must believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God (Mark 16:16). Following his belief in Christ, he must repent (Acts 2:38). That means he must get rid of all sin in his life. In his marriage, he must get rid of all his “wives” but the first one. After repenting, he must confess his faith in Christ as the Son of God (Romans 10:10). He is now ready for baptism. This baptism is a burial in water (Romans 6:3-4). Like, you know, how adults who are in relationships are generally perceived to feel towards one-another and why weddings and engagements get all those "awwws" and whatnot. It's the same exact situation that through the prism of our society gets turned into a sick situation when in fact it could equally as much be a beautiful one. Making up for all the sick situations among same-age partners that the "common eye" sees as nice and loving, as if there has to be a balance stricken. Well, I say it's time to start being more outraged with all the sick abusive bastards who're into making the life of adult women miserable and let the little girls that happen to be happy stay happy.

It's intrinsically nonsensical, and let me explain for those of you who have not read SJWS ALWAYS LIE, which is, as even people who don't like me very much will tell you, the go-to book on the subject. Social justice is about the convergence of all individuals and institutions towards what they consider to be the maximum possible justice for everyone, and so "social justice warrior" does not refer to tactics, it does not refer to techniques, it refers to objectives. And the objectives of the SJW are absolutely antithetical to the right wing in general, and to right-wing extremists in particular

Alot of people don't realize that the concept of social justice goes back to the 1800s. That's right. A commenter said social justice is socialist justice. Many figures on the right have condemned it, probably the best example being Friedrich von Hayek. He wrote a really good essay on the subject back in 1971, so this is all going back much further than most people realize, and what we're seeing in the SJWs today is really just the ultimate realization of what John Stuart Mill was advocating back in, whatever it was, 1851. So if you look at what social justice stands for, it stands for the very things that we're now seeing from the tech companies, it stands for all of the corporations, all of the organizations, all of the Boy Scouts, all the churches, everything, being used to enforce the principles of social justice. Now, of course, what social justice specifically stands for has a tendency to mutate at any given moment. They used to be concerned about gay marriage, before that they were concerned about women in the workplace. They were concerned about black quarterbacks, now they're concerned about black coaches. The specific target frequently evolves, but the general objective of forcing everybody's opinion, and everybody's thinking, and everybody's actions to conform to the narrative, that is the primary objective.

Obviously that is not what we on the right wing support or stand for. We don't accept any of it. Social justice, and especially the convergence that it entails, is diametrically opposed to all of us who value Aristotelian logic, value Christianity and Christian morality, and so it is absolutely insane, it's nonsensical, to confuse the two or to conflate the two. Now, you can say quite reasonably that we don't want politics in our comics. I don't think that is very plausible for comics that are going to have any relevance to current events or to the interesting philosophical and ideological questions of the day, but that's not a nonsensical statement, it's just a self-limiting statement.
